The Wedlocke Challenge. (Revival)

This is a twist on the pokemon nuzlocke challenge!
Credits for this do go to Marriland (Youtuber).​

Rules.
1. FAINTED POKEMON ARE DEAD
When a Pokemon faints, it must be released forever (or boxed permanently). It is considered to be dead.

2. ONLY CATCH THE 1ST ELIGIBLE POKEMON IN AN AREA.
You can catch or obtain only the first eligible obtainable Pokemon you encounter in any route or area, with exceptions being made based on the Pokemon's gender. Fail to catch it and you get nothing for the area.
• Genderless Pokemon cannot be caught. Ever.
• If you have 1, 3, or 5 Pokemon in your party, you ignore any Pokemon encounters whose gender you have an uneven number of, e.g. if you have just one male Pokemon and two female Pokemon, you cannot catch any more female Pokemon until the count is even again. If you have an even number of each gender, this does not apply.
• "Dupes Clause" is recommended, to add to the uniqueness of each Pokemon. This means you do not count any encounter against any Pokemon whose species you have already caught, which is usually determined by the Poke Ball symbol by their HP bar.

3. ALL POKEMON MUST BE NICKNAMED
This is to increase the bond between you and your Pokemon. They're not just randoms; they're your friends. Treat them accordingly.

4. YOUR POKEMON ARE "PARTNERED" WITH EACH OTHER AND FIGHT IN PAIRS
• Only one male and one female can form a pair, and once they do, it lasts until one dies or is released.
• Each Pokemon on your team can battle only alongside its partner, if it has one. Switching Pokemon out in battle is allowed, but ONLY for the Pokemon's partner.
• If a Pokemon dies in battle, its partner must avenge the fallen Pokemon or die along with them; switching to any other Pokemon is forbidden, regardless of circumstance. (In the case of Double or Triple Battles, you may have to make exceptions. Do what feels right.)
• If a Pokemon's partner dies, it can gain a new one that doesn't already have a partner (either from a PC box or a wild Pokemon)

5. YOU CANNOT DEPOSIT POKEMON TO YOUR PC
• You must release Pokemon or have them die in battle if you want to withdraw anything in your PC.
• You can freely release your Pokemon (up to you if it counts as a "death" or not), but you will probably feel like a jerk for doing it.
• If you absolutely require HM moves to get through the game, you may temporarily break this rule and deposit a pair of Pokemon in the PC for one or two HM Pokemon; however, they cannot fight or do anything other than use HM moves outside of battle, and should be removed as soon as one of your main Pokemon can use the required HM move.

You must change your battle style to SET.
You can only use the Poke Center a number of times per town.
You can only buy a certain number pokeballs per town.
You must only use Pokeballs to catch pokemon.
You cannot catch legendary pokemon.
You may not heal outside the use of Pokémon Centers and moves such as Softboiled.
You may not heal outside of healing items and moves such as Softboiled.
You may not heal outside of battle.
Make comics of your challenge and have fun! (strongly recommended).

Been starting off Lucky and Un-Lucky at the same time.
Due to not using the Duplicate Clause, Ive been getting pestered with Poocheyna's which I don't want.
Named myself River.
Saved Birch with Apple the Torchic.
Beat May up for her Lunch Money.
1st Route: Poocheyna. I don't want that.
2nd Route - Hoping for a Wingull - Poocheyna...
3rd Route - At least give me a Lo- ITS A LEVEL 4 GIRL RALTS WUT WUT WUT.
Trained it to learn Confusion.
Best Pre-Petalburg Trainers.
Watch Wally get Growled at by Ralts.
4th Route - Come on Wingull, or Tailow, or Mar- Screw you Poocheyna.
Petalburg Woods - Maybe I can get Tailow or Shroomish... Oh nope Poocheyna.
Beat Team Aqua Grunt.
Ran over to the side of Rustboro to hope for a Tailow. And it's a Skitty which is weird cause I normally can't find those. After a lot of thought, I decided I didn't want it. I looked at some reviews and besides Movepool Delcatty is awful.
Trained up on those trainers.
Apple evolved into Combusken.
Took on Roxanne and won easily with Double Kick.
Beat that mean ol' Grunt again.
Came back and beat May with Double Kicks.
Ralts is now under leveled, so I used Ralts on all Brawly's buddies and then c
beat Brawly.

Been quite a while since i've done one of these, and the surge in them after Marriland's started has made me want to go in for it. And given that it's semester break, that puts more free time in my hands. Let's rumble.

Any optional rules?: At no point outside of battle can my Pokémon's levels be higher than the highest level of the next Gym Leader, or Level 50 before entering the Elite Four (haven't decided on for N and Ghetsis yet, however). If ever they are, they can never be used again.
I MIGHT rematch the Elite Four and beat Alder, I might not, depends on how I feel afterward.
EDIT: Dupes Clause with five encounter limit and includes Pokémon from the same evolution line; didn't make that clear.

So I started the game, decided to play as the girl and named her Katey, after a certain someone (a few of you might be able to guess who i'm talking about). I started the game, and checked my ID number: 52258, which means i'm picking Oshawott for my starter.

I won both rival battles. Cheren decided to be stupid and use Leer when I was all but dead.

After meeting with Bianca's parents, I went to Juniper's lab and named my Oshawott Swing. And I got the Pokédex.

Here was my encounter for Route 1. I caught it with one Poké Ball, at full health no less, and named it Maroon. She and Swing are now paired.

Once that was done, I arrived in Accumula Town, was taught more basic stuff, and got word of a commotion going on, that was Ghetsis saying that Pokémon aren't the friends we think they are. Then N challenged me to a battle.

And I beat him. Not too hard, but I switched out Maroon so she'd get a bit of EXP.

My Route 2 encounter, which was female. I caught it and named it Entendre. Also, why are all the trainers here so high leveled?!

There was Bianca at the end of the route, who really wasn't anything to worry about.

So I arrived in Striation City, got a few items before entering the Dreamyard.

And I got Pansear, which thankfully was male, I named it Chives. He and Entendre are now paired. Also, Swing had a bit of a close call against a Lillipup thanks to Leer. Lived with 5 HP, but that was close.

Afterward I went to the Trainers' School after a tiny bit more training. No, Cheren, i'm not looking for the Gym Leader, i'm here so I can learn stuff that will never be of assistance.

His Snivy lowered Maroon's Defense twice with Leer, but I did once and killed him in one hit with a critical hit.

Once that was done, I was let in the Gym, but first I trained everyone to Level 11. Then I beat the trainers using Swing and Maroon. Afterward, I decided to train up to Level 12, just to be on the safe side.

Now time for the action!

This was the most gosh-darned hilarious Gym battle ever. What I did was keep using Growl with Entendre against him to counteract his Work Up so he'd only raise Special Attack and eventually fall into the negatives on Attack. Lillipup took a bit of time, and he even got a critical hit to knock me a bit low, but Pansage was no problem when I brought out Chives. Funny.

So after getting the Gym Badge and TM83 for Work Up, I was dragged into Fennel's house. She told me stuff about Dream Mist which is irrelevant since the Dream World is dead now, and gave me HM01 for Cut. I taught that to Maroon, along with Work Up (which I also gave to Chives).

Trying to aim for at least one Gym battle per update, maybe two. But who knows, we'll see.

Any optional rules?: Evolution line dupes clause [5 trials], shiny clause, can choose between two double battle Pokemon in the dark grass, In game trade and gift Pokemon allowed, evolution trade allowed [no importing Pokemon from other games though], if game freezes to start from wherever last Save area was, starter based on ID, no buying healing/hold items at Pokemart [Poke-balls/Mail/Escape Rope/TMs are allowed], the only healing items used are ones given by NPCs/found in wild/acquired through Pick Up, and oh, level cap [14 for first gym, then 20, 23, 27, 31, 35, 39, 43, 45-55 Elite Four, 55 N, 60 Ghetsis, 68-75 Elite Four rematch, and 75-80 Alder]. Pinwheel Forest and Dragonspiral Tower counts as 2 encounters [outside and inside].

I named myself as 'Hot' and became a girl. My ID ended with a 3, so I got a Snivy, named Deku [males are named after things from Zelda]. Deku was pretty cool. He easily beat Bianca and Cheren and I headed to Route 1. In Route 1, I ignored everything [no female Pokemon showed up anyways] and went to the whole Accumula Town Team Plasma thing. I battled N and won easily, and on Route 2, I got a female Purrloin, named Cattail [I wanted a Lillipup, and females are named after flowers and plants]. Well, I healed, and pitched Cattail against a male Lillipup on Route 2. The puppy used Tackle and got a Critical Hit on Cattail, OHKO-ing her. R.I.P. Cattail. I went to Route 1 to get my encounter there [I needed it, of course] and found a Patrat, named Petunia. Now, I am training Petunia and Deku together and praying that they don't die.

I started the game, picked up tepig etc. but than it started- caught a pokemon and it died right after I leveled it up - every. single. time. Got so frustrated D: Than the only pokes I had all the time were tepig/pignite/emboar paired with scolipede - than emboar died and I ended up doing scolipede solo-run - Couldn't catch anything because it would OHKO every wild encounter or the wild encounter would just eat up all my pokeballs/died to poison thanks to poison point - so I just gave up :(

I am going to do it on another original game rather than hack this time around though - I think that I've learned my lesson about insanely hard hacks that are impossible to nuzlocke/wedlocke.
