You only spend a week there. How do you make the most of your time? also the year is 1870 and your in texas.

Also it's not the real wild west. It's the Hollywood portrayal of the Wild West.

I ride an old steam train! I'd love to see what the cabins look like.
And also befriend some horses.

Join up with the Native Americans, maybe Apache if they'll have me. I'd want to grow my hair long and wear beautifully-colored textiles. I am already comfortable in mocassins. I'd learn how to weave a basket, study herblore and know which nuts and vegetables are good to pick, become a good cook and roast some corn and bean dishes, receive wisdom from their elders and play with the kids. I'd dance in the festivals and enjoy seeing shamanic rituals. Caretaking horses and traveling with my equine would be an adventure. In the west I would live free, proud, independent and in harmony nature.
