    Has anyone else played this game? What do you think of it?

    Personally, I thought it was very colourful and innovative for the Wii U - mmmm, albit, the controls took me... a little while to get used to, but it was pretty fun to play, in my opinion! I haven't beaten it yet, but, I'll definitely try to over the weekend!

    I saw this thread yesterday and I just clicked the Home button and played this game until my eyes hurt and I had to sleep and turn off all possible light sources to stop the headache.

    This game is amazing. A bit hard, though. Like, you need to be really good at action plus switching through characters is a bit hard if you want to use Unite Hammer or Unite Bomb. Those are complicated.

    It's a shame Nintendo's publishing, though. They did little to no advertising. And their fanbase is generally uninterested in new IPs. :/
     
    Played the game a little at Gamestop, and have watched footage on it. In theory, this game would be fantastic. It's very creative and looks like it utilizes the WiiU's gamepad well. However, the controls seem quite annoying and got on my nerves even only playing for a little while. I'm sure the player would get used to them after a while. Also, the game seemed really short from what I've seen on Youtube. Besides that the game looks decent, I think that it was a good setup for maybe a Wonder 101 2, or would it be Wonderful 202?
     
    I've actually been deliberating on whether or not I want to purchase this. I don't really have any Wii U games other than Wind Waker HD, and I was considering purchasing this game. It looks pretty interesting. What's the game play similar to (if anything)?
     
    Still not got it. I played it at an expo in July but nothing since then... I will have to get it

    It depends on your taste. Honestly, it's not a game I'd recommend to anyone, because the entry ceiling is high, very high. The game takes a while to enjoy and get used to. Do you like traditional fighting games (as in street fighter, marvel vs capcom, etc) and action games like DMC and Bayonetta? If so, by all means. The game isn't really like anything at all, but I can see fans of either of the aforementioned genres liking this as it draws heavily from both of them. Don't expect something as easy to pick as Pikmin. This game is the exact opposite of Pikmin.

    Otherwise, I'd recommend something else. Right now NSMBU and Pikmin 3 are the best in the system imo (NSMBU particularly) and can be enjoyed by anyone. 3D World is out tomorrow, as well, and it's looking to be very good.
