The world could have been a place where magic and magical spells existed. Instead of technology, the world would have developed thaumaturgically. Wars would have been fought with fireballs and lightning bolts instead of ammunition and cities would be erected from stone itself. The place would be really cool to live in, though wresting power in every person's hands is a risky proposition. At the same time, the world would have unlimited potential. idk, it's what I dream about at night.

The world could have been a lush, jungle-filled planet with no traces of civilization on it whatsoever, because humans would not have existed, and no other species developed that was intelligent enough to fill that role.

Though that magic-based world does sound awesome.

The continents could have been all jumbled up or completely different inhabited by unrecognisable creatures due to different paths taken early on in life's evolution...

No dinosaurs, but something else to take their place.

No mammals, but something else... no birds, but something different, etc.

The world could have been flat, with some other basis besides physics. It could have been flooded with an everlasting ocean that spills off the edges of the world into infinity and come back down again in the center.

Another alternative reality, I wonder, is of zoos full of people with animals coming in and paying to see humans doing "human" things in an artificial... *ahem* "natural human habitat".

Or a world where pokemon send humans to battle.

Any world would be better than this one. This world is too full of selfish irgnorant people who can't accept people who are different. In another world I'd like it if people could wear more bright/colourful clothes like in video games, or at least dress and look how you want without being picked on. Current accepted fashion is dull and boring. Magic would also be cool, and sticking with swords instead of ever inventing guns. (I think swords are more honourable and wish I could learn how to sword fight.) Technology should also exist because I love technology, but I reckon if you could be more eheroic in the real world I'd have less need for my video games. I'd also like it if you could have duels to settle disputes.

Yeah, I got the idea from the 'Stenonychosaurus' which is speculated to have evolved sapience had it not been driven to extinction due to the size of it's brain. And no I don't have a bizarre knowledge of dinosaurs... I read that off Top Trumps card I have :P

After searching for that "speculative dinosaur project" I found a website that has created an entire speculated planet based around the mass-extinction inducing asteroid missing. If that's what you were on about, it's epic. And if it wasn't well then it's awesome anyway.
