6th Gen The X/Y Rumors Thread!

The first one sounds skeptical, because the rumor took place in 2012, so if Pokémon X and Y were to come in about 2 years, then it would've been in 2014 rather than 2013.

I find this unfortunate. That's why I'd rather have more Megalutions of Pokémon like Ampharos, Mewtwo, and Blaziken, instead of Pokémon that still had potential like Mawile and Absol. We could still get prevolutions from those Pokémon, however.

Even in future generations when GameFreak is thinking about giving Mawile an evolution (as an example), they most likely wont because it will mess with the Megalution consistency.

The rumor WAS POSTED ON POKEJUNGLE ON NOVEMBER 30, 2012. The rumor could appear earlier (maybe in early 2012), and October 12, 2013 could be considered as 2014!!
And he said "about 2 years" so it could be less than 2 years

'cuz, in my own opinion, it is mostly unecessary, pokes such as Lucario, Blaziken, Kangaskhan, Ampharos, ... are already competitive enough.
Not to mention that the concept itself lacks imagination...

1. Every main series games has a 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 year gap.
2. Every main series game has a crisis occurring.
3. Of course the next games would be in 3D. It's called the 3DS for a reason.
4. A new type is speculated for every generation.
5. We still don't have a complete list of new Pokémon and Gen. 1 and Gen. 5 were the only two that didn't bring new evolutions to existing Pokémon.
6. Wii U got a Rumble game with NFC, not Battrio.

Gen 3 did not bring new evolution to other pokemon either. It did however bring 1 or 2 pre evolutions (maybe a few more that I am forgetting), but that was all.

Also, it was said before Gen. 5 was even out that it would last for around 3 years, which it will be. It will pass the Japanese 5th Gen air date by about 3 or 4 weeks. It started in Japan on Sept. 23, 2010.

White dove (peace dove) with an olive branch and a frigate bird (War birds/Pirate Birds) with a bomb jugular.

Or we could go even more biblical with a Lamb and Goat duo.

Or it could be a Dove and a Raven whose trio master is a water type...based on the story of the birds Noah released in one version. In one version he first released a raven which didn't come back, then he released a Dove which came back with the olive branch.
 
I'm still holding onto the hope of a Peacock Pokémon, preferably evolved from Spritzee which is a plausible evolutionary line.
 
Mega Evolution is great. But i want it's just for pokemon that don't need to evolve anymore
Like Lapras could have a mega evolution, AND MAYBE A PRE-EVO...
Pokemon like Mawile, Sableye, Banette... (Or maybe Absol) should have a real Evolution, not just temporary

My favorite pokemon is Sableye, and it need to have an evolution......

even though i truly like sableye and would be happy if it get evo/mega evo, i don't care if he wouldn't get one. right now, with prankster and no weakness he doing fine.
banette really need evo, also farfetch'd, sandshrew and Qwifish and even pinsir(i'm sure there are others that i forgot o mention)

Although if the rumors are true, Sableye and Spiritomb won't have no weakness for much longer. . .
