The Young Jedi Knights RP: Jedi Academy

OOC: We have really just begun. Right now, we've just finished the morning lecture in the Grand Audience Chamber, and are in our first class, which is history. Yours can be different if you want, but I think all our characters have history together, so it's up to you!

BTW, please make sure you read my first post (intro) really carefully. I am pretty sure it will answer most of your questions if you have any!
 
I sat in the back of the History class with sweaty hands, I was very nervous about this. I was never good at history, and I lacked in every aspect of it. The only thing I took pride in was my mediation, I could focus my mind very easily. I made sure not to draw any attention to me, because I got stage fright very easily. I just waited around nervously for the lessen to begin.

Personality:quiet, calm,and dark. he is the greatgrand son of xanatos from the jedi apprentice(so if you read the books you can tell that he will tern his back on the new jedi temple(did i just say that ops sorry))

Adam sat next to Teyra in history. I had studied alot of history of the universe. I just hoped any questions asked, would be something I've read about. I leant over to Teyra. "What do you expect of this class?" I asked.
 
OOC: I wasnt trying to be bitter or anything like that. And I'm not joining to be spiteful.

IC: Shinin rushed into the history room. He found a seat next to Adam. Shinin said "Hi." to Adam.
 
OOC: Okay, Shinin. Make sure you read my first post, because you just broke one of the rules. There will be NO one or two line posting unless it is OOC. You have to make your posts detailed. I am going for an old skool RPG here. None of this "'Hi, my name is ___,' and I sat down" stuff. Edit your last post.

Nanok, I RPed with you in the dragon riders RP, and I hope that you will do more than one or two line posts, because they are not allowed in this RP unless they are OOC. If you can make well thought out, detailed posts, then you are welcome to join.

OOC: You can be in whatever class you want. You aren't bound to our schedule.

Also, just note this everyone (I will add it to my intro post as well...):

At all costs, please avoid back and forth conversation between two RPers. By that, I mean the one liners like "'do you want to go to the jungle?' joe asked." followed by "'why, yes. Could you show me the lake later?' Jane asked." Stuff like that. It takes up needless space. I woudl prefer it if you could work it out via PMs if you want to do conversations like that, and post the final result when you are finished. It's such a pain in the butt to go through two pages of one line conversations....
 
Teyra shrugged her shoulders lightly.
"You know, I'm not very sure... Many things, I suppose."
She said, thinking it over quickly in her head, surveying him with her dark green eyes.
Smiling, she closed her eyes again, not realizing it, and she began to meditate once more, and yet again, recite her small poem.
I call...
But then, her eyes snapped open again.
"Oh, I so sorry..." The girl fretted, apologizing fractically for meditating in the middle of the conversation. "I... Tend to do that." She explained, trying to focus her mind on the lesson, and the conversation they were having.
 
"That's all right!" Adam said. The class was getting full now. It was also getting noisy. Children were talking about other subjects. Every now and then, Adam could pick up on people saying things like: "I can't wait till fitness!" "Yeah! Too bad you can only use practice sabers!" or "... Meditation? I don't know about it..."
"When is the teacher going to get here?" Adam asked Teyra beginning to draw a lightsaber on a bit of paper.
 
She blinked, fully suprised that someone would want to talk to her for that long.
"I don't know..."
Saying this, she started meditating again, and whilst she was at it, she opened up one eye, and asked again, looking at the drawing,
"You must be excited about fitness...".
Closing her eye once more, she awaited the boy's answer, while thinking about the lessons.
Hmm... Meditation sounds... Relaxing....
Humming a little to herself, she waited.
 
"Sure do!" Adam said. "I assume you really want to do meditation. Awaiting her answer, he continued drawing the Light Saber. Adam must have been asleep or something because the Light Saber on the page moved. But luckily, someone drew his attention away. A kid whispering to his friend something. "... The only reason he wants us to go in twos is because he is scared that if he can't defeat something by himself he hopes a pair will show up to help!"
Ignoring the idiots, Adam turned back to Teyra.
 
Teyra nodded. "That and this class. I'm not so sure about the Weapon Training class, though.." She trailed off, wincing at the word 'weapon'.
She never really had wanted to use weapons...
Now, she didn't really have a chance to decide...
However, at least it's not I real lightsaber I'll practice with. She assured herself, opening her eyes.
 
Nat looked about her. The classroom was getting quite full. She began to shy away. She was never one to be surrounded by large groups of people.

Then, she saw him. A skinny boy sitting alone in the back. He looked uncomfortable. She walked to the back where he was sitting and said hello. She introduced herself as Nat, and quietly asked where he was from.

Her mind was suddenly full of thoughts about Nimbus. How was her family doing? Were they even alive? She shook her head to clear her mind. She quietly awaited his answer.
 
I suddenly felt my heart race and adrenaline fill my body...I was becoming shy, I had never been shy, just alittle bit of a push over. "My na...na..name's...uh...um...John Brass. But please call me JB. I prefer JB." I studdered foolishly, I felt alittle embarassed. "I'm from Kevia, it's a little farther than the rest of the academy students home planets attending here. We have an academy of our own. But I wanted to be taught here." I said trying to find my confidence.
 
x-r walked into the classroom finding a set in the back of the room. nobody ever liked him cus he was so quiet and dark. he realy didnt want any friends.
he just wanted to get to wepons that is the only thing way he came and that beening a jedi was in family.he just wanted it to get over.
OOC:i real didnt read the 2 page but i just did and that is so not far the light sabers only go through your opponit why cant we use sabers that only sting like a small pinch

OOC: is KotOR good? i'm thinking about getting KotOR 2 when it comes out.
