The Zubat curse...

    Every time I try to throw a ball at a Zubat I can't help but miss 20 times before finally landing it - I don't get this issue with any other Pokémon but for some reason I just find him so hard to hit. Do you guys have any similar Pokémon like that where you just can't managed to hit them, be it because they're moving around or just an awkward shape?
     
    Omg yes. D: I have a hard time catching Zubat and thought I was the only one. Guess they're fated to be as annoying as they are in the main games, just now for different reasons (appearing constantly vs being annoying to capture) lol. Nothing else has given me noticeable trouble so far.

    Oh wait, can Pokémon make it curve? :o I've been wondering why sometimes it just randomly curves all over the place, I assumed it was just my phone being buggy. Can many Pokémon do that or just Clefairy?
     
    This happens to me with Pidgey as well.... I only really catch them for XP/Stardust, so after a certain point it just seems pointless.
     
    So much yes. :| These little flying devils steal up half my Poké Balls.

    Yet every time I can't help but keep trying to catch them.
     
    The Zubat was probably the hardest for me to catch other than the one that got away which was an evolved x 2 bell sprout.

    Annoying to capture yes, certainly. But appearing constantly, not for me. Zubat is actually one of the Pokémon I'm still hunting on to get a Golbat. As happy as I am when I encounter then, is as sad as I am when they run away after draining my number of PokéBalls.

    I'm starting to notice this a lot too. I'm trying to work out the timings of when they'll 'attack' and when you should throw the ball - if you sit and watch the Pokémon for a few seconds it'll start to become clear when you should throw it I think. I'm having a lot more luck now that I'm being more patient with the captures.
     
    Not had too many problems with Zubats (or any other Pokemon) yet, but the game glitched whilst I was attempting to catch a Zubat earlier; it broke out of the Pokeball, and for whatever reason the camera view shifted so that I was underneath the Zubat? So I had to try and throw the Pokeball upwards in order to hit it.

    Needless to say, it didn't work and the app crashed.
     
    I actually got the evolved Zubat today and even though it wasn't super easy to catch it was actually easier than the original Zubat in my opinion. I think Zubat took me 6 Pokeballs to catch it and only 3 to catch the evolved Zubat.

    Yeah I find it hilarious that Golbat is 100% easier to hit than Zubat. Feels like they didn't really think this through when they were designing the hit boxes XD
