The roommate that annoys me all the time says this constantly. Since the Switch was announced back when it was called the NX I had followed every single rumor, watched a million videos on anything related up to the point of release. I was extremely excited as I always am for Nintendo. And when I finally got it my friend said that and always does when I am happy for something and it honestly baffles me. I know how it feels to be happy for someone like for my brothers or family but when he says it I don't really understand why. Probably because I could care less whether they are happy about something or not. I guess I only feel happy for someone else if I am really close to them. In my eyes I feel like that term is not something to throw around constantly, similar to "I love you".
This, oh my god. Even more is actually MAKING the food for you, it just feels extra special.
It makes me happy to be around people who have similar humor or have nice laughs, as well. It's a good time!
I also like the phrase "I'm happy you're happy" and I started saying that more. I love seeing people super pumped up for something even if I don't understand the subject, I just go "Hey, that's awesome I'm happy to see you happy" i just love being around passionate people, lmfao
