5th Gen Third Game Speculation

Their legends and myths? Probably.

Their actual existence? Not so much. I mean, it's a known fact that legendaries exist in the Pokemon world, they're basically just ultra-rare Pokemon with stronger abilities. Most legendaries protect something as well, so their power is really, really extensive, so that's where the legends start up.

But mostly their stories are true, though I'm curious as to how the Professors managed to put Pokedex entries with that kind of information, but that's for another time.

But still, we can't deny Kyurem is lesser than what it was today. And I'm curious on the whole "Truth and Ideals" matter with Zek and Res. I wonder, what's Kyurem's part in that, what's the opposite or the greater goal of those two ideas?

well i do agree that kyurem will get stronger with the god stone. But usually the 3rd legenday is ethier equal or greater than the others ( in turms in legend) so i think we can expect something to that effect

This is probably fairly obvious (based on how it is in Black and White) but, I think N will have a great relationship or storyline with Kyurem; he may show great affection towards it as it has been 'left behind' as remains (as based on its myth).
Still, I have great omptimism for this game to come with a great storyline to match!

well the game always keep to the same level of farfetchd. But if they did leave a body why wasnt it included in the story. Im pretty sure if the bothers were fighting for power they would of tried to get the original body , i mean 2 dragons are better than one. I just dont see it being the case.
Theres really no proof to really support this( of course there really none to discard it either) but kyurem has its story kinda explained in the game. (it came on a metor and its suspected to eat children and pokemon from the nearest town lol)

where do they say that kyurem is the left over body where are you getting this from? My info come from bulbapedia.

I mean if you can show me where it says it in the game then ill accept it as true

Until then, I seriously hope Gym Leaders, and possibly Trainers getting animations.

Trainer animations would be awesome! Why do just the important people afterall? Trainers help us to train up to beat the ~important people~, so they deserve the recognition too! :D

This would work nicely too because trainers are split into classes. Giving each class a short animation of their own shouldn't be too-too bad. :3

I'm in belief of the Kyuremu being an empty shell, the whole theory of Reshiram and Zekrom splitting from an original body fits perfectly with the whole Yin Yang representation.

Just to add to the whole "farfetch'd-ness" of there being Pokemon that are empty shells, has everyone overlooked the whole Shedinja and Nincada thing? Where Nincada sheds his skin or whatever, becomes a Ninjask, and the skin/shell(?) becomes a Shedinja with ghost attributes.

It shouldn't be too hard to believe. It's possible that Reshiram and Zekrom left part of their minds in Kyuremu, so now he is a split-minded shell. Being mostly made of ice helps to solidify the empty-shellness, just as it does with Froslass. They said there was a part of the game where they said that Kyuremu eats people right? I can see him being a really hateful dragon, being split between two different sides and being abandoned by his original owners. D:

Yeah they could have come from Kyurem and left it without any heat energy thus making it all icy...
Also Kyurem...must be Zekrom and Reshiram's Nobody...

Personally I think it came from space, but meh, don't want to get involved in this :\

I'm hoping they'll add more Dive spots. I mean, there are a lot more possibilities for it...like a sunken ship. And at least add some battles :\

Outside of the whole Kyurem thing (maybe Landorus gets a game in the spotlight instead. I don't know.) I'll say that I think Mewtwo, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina will be catchable. Mewtwo in Castelia City, and the other three in new locations similar to the Regi trio in Platinum, no Arceus required.

Well an event Regigigas was required so maybe a event Arceus would too in the third version...plus it would give one a chance to get an Arceus in the 3rd version...I'll also like to see a return of that Hiker who told you the myth of Arceus in Pt and who told you about the Weather trio tower in HgSs...maybe he can explain to us the myth of Kyurem...

Hmm, maybe Kyurem eats people to feel "full" haha. It makes some sense. :P Might be a little too dark for a Pokemon game, but then again... so is eating people in general. XD

That would actually be pretty cool, and not too unimaginable. :D Considering its power is supposedly weakened, it's the only way it can maintain the power it still has.

I understand the argument for shedinja but how is frosslass an empty shell.
But in the case of shedinja its not an empty shell. I mean look at what empty shell means and shedinja or kyurem doesnt meet the definition

how does a hollow body equal empty shell?
I mean are you talking like literally an empty shell? i was thinking how the person made the comparison to kyurem and the talk of the dragons spliting we were talking figuratively

Geeze, Im gone for 2 weeks and I have to read 10 pages worth of speculation. Actually I frogot half of what I just read xD. But I hope they add some features to the pokedex in the 3rd installment (still refuses to call it Gray)
