That's true, but it DOES have a connection to Team Plasma, as N originally had it resurrected from an ancient Pokemon and modified it with the cannon on its back. N ordered it cancelled, but the scientist continued. Perhaps this scientist could revolt with Genesect for N having rejected him.

My bottom line: we won't know until Nintendo officially announces it. I'll just leave it saying that every Pokemon we have mentioned has a reason for possibility of being the mascot.

Mystery Dungeon was made for GBA and DS at one point. Who's to say this can't be released for DS and 3DS wise guy.

Plus you're theory falls short as gen one and two had 3 each.

that was gen 1 and 2 there wasn't anything to remake on the gb/gbc from before gen 1 and 2. and does mystery dungeon on gba and ds communicate freely with each other? can you go from the gba one into the ds one to answer a call for a rescue? they can release any franchise cross-platform but each generation has to be all on the same platform to communicate freely among each other, how would you trade or battle from unova on the ds to a unova exclusive to the 3ds? it's like doing it between one gen and another. won't work.

Just throwing this out there but maybe they might design something that will allow that communication, like they did with the wireless adapter to communicate between Gameboy Advanced and Gameboy SP. The 3DS can play DS games ( i think the remake will be a DS card because I cant really see it going 3D, I hope it wont) so that might work, I just don't know how they will do it, always a possibility though, especially if they want to make the sprite images cleaner. (especially in battle)

As for the mascot I think it still will be Kyurem, it is just the most obvious choice and I don't think event pokemon will be the mascot, purely because the mascot needs to be obtained through non wi-fi means. So Victini won't work

I think Cobalion will be the mascot of Pokemon Cobalt. Why? Well first look at this comparison:

First of all, they are both blue, dog like creatures. Suicune was the mascot of Pokemon Crystal, so why can't Cobalion be the mascot of Pokemon "Cobalt"?
Secondly, the old guy in Mistralton cave says something about Cobalion and his chums hating humans. So, Cobalion will likely want humans and Poke-oh screw this, I think it's Kyurem.

i just had a thought.
what if we are all wrong? kyurem makes sense, but how about Victini?
it's starring in the movies with the two mascots.
it's already tied into the story with team plasma in the games. they wanted him for the unlimited energy.
the newer event one learned reshirams and zekroms fusion moves.
that and he is HUGE in japan. they even just made a new c-gear skin for him in japan.
he just seems to have more of a connection with them than kyurem at this point.

They also gave away a Darkrai with Roar of Time and Spatial Rend.

You can browse this site on a PC or a Mac, and in different browsers. Software from different platforms can communicate. Especially since Nintendo abandoned their proprietary protocols (eg. FRLG wireless adapter) in favour of ad-hoc wi-fi, there's no reason why they wouldn't be able to support communications between B/W and potential 3DS games.

The only reason generations aren't compatible is because they want to add new features and don't want to be bothered degrading them to support the old games.

Mystery Dungeon Blue was...pretty poor as a DS game. The Mystery Dungeon series was originally designed for the GBA and it shows in that Blue's touch-screen (and other DS specific) functionality felt tacked on, while the graphics mainly consisted of re-used GBA assets from Mystery Dungeon Red.

Is that what you want for Pokémon's next generation debut?

there's a grey cubes in her room, I think these are the hints for the fifth generation
games it's similar to Steven's Room it has Palkia's color in R/S and Walace's room has Dialga's
color in Emerald
Edit:Also both rooms have platinum color on the top wall .

Though to add on to your topic, I never really thought of that. It would be cool if they made it a double battle, but they already have the same Pokémon as it is, so I don't know. :o

I think the last Gym Leader in Grey with be a different person instead of Iris or Drayden. Perhaps one of the Shadow Triad? Or maybe just some generic dude with grey hair.

Perhaps they'll do something similar to what they did in Platinum with the regional Pokedex. They may expand it to include more Pokemon, which also includes more Dragon-type Pokemon. This would allow the last gym to be a double battle with each leader having different Pokemon. Just a thought.

Or maybe the leader will be different based on certain aspects of the game you follow, such as whether or not you fought certain optional trainers. And they will still have different Pokemon, such as mentioned above.

Wow I never noticed that until now about Steven's room but I did notice it about Cynthia's room plus her Japanese name means White but Cyrus' Japanese name means Red or Crimson...maybe the third version would be Crimson after all...

Well, I think it would be really weird if Grey was on 3DS. It might have a few enhacements, such as viewing the game better in 3DS, not like other DS games.
Personally I'm not waiting for a third version. It will be propably annouced at the end of 2011 or beggining of 2012 and it might be released after the possible RS remakes.

I believe it will be about Kyurem since Giant Chasm is kind of an Expy of Turnback Cave/Sky Pillar. Replacing N's Klinklang with the other legendary and you battle with both in a double battle and after you take them both down with only Kyurem it becomes a single battle? That would be interesting, also a Battle Frontier maybe near Route 3 and becomes available after the N's Castle? Some more ideas of what they could have:

-Return of some old Pokemon like Geodude and Zubat in the Pokedex, but this is less likely.
-More Hoenn references, maybe an appearance by Wallace...
-Changes to trainer battles, and more 1 vs. 2 tag battles in Routes after Striaton like Emerald version.
-After the six sages are found Ghetsis appears and tells a hint towards his next plan, or after the Shadow Triad gives you the orbs.
-other changes in 3rd games gameplay, etc.

I'd like to make myself believe that the RS remakes will be made next and before Grey but I'm just guessing since everything is never as it seems.

I just had an idea as far as something that might be revealed about Kyurem's relation to Reshiram and Zekrom. According to this page, Kyurem represents wuji, the absence of yin and yang, whereas Reshiram and Zekrom represent yin and yang respectively. What I believe will be revealed is that Kyurem is the empty shell of the Dragon Pokemon that Reshiram and Zekrom once were while they were still one Pokemon. This would also justify the fact that Kyurem is Ice-type, a frozen shell of what Reshiram and Zekrom once were. The aforementioned page also speculates that Kyurem's icy body may represent the concept of absolute zero, and the absence of energy.
