Thread Killing

I get this sometimes, that I start a thread & it will be left at the bottom of the page for a week then abou 3 people will post in it then it will be left forever.

Either that or just no-one posts.

I have a tendency to kill the DCC for a few hours. Or at least for an extended period of time in relation to how fast it was going before I posted. ;D

Otherwise...yeah, I guess it happens every so often.

That so happens to me, althogh the time I'm usually online it's dead anyway.:paranoid:

I posted once in a thread when the mod was closing it. So I had a reply right after the mod. Does that count?

EDIT: I killed the Mod Game for awhile. No one seemed scared though ;_; Darnit.

Well, if it has happened to me then I havn't noticed, I never start threads precisely for this reason. Sometimes when I post in a thread it gets less active nut it has never died.

Oh HELL yeah. Me and some of the staff used to purposely try to kill threads to see who could get the longest thread kill. I had the record for a while with something like 28 hours and then Kylie killed it with something like 60+ hours, but she did have the help of the killer lag at that point.

You know what! That happens to me all the freaking time! Especially to me art thread!
I'm actually happy I got posts on my PC art thread, no one's did posts at my BMGf thread yet and I started it about the same time T_T
I killed the spriters lounge a few times too, and when I really wanted comments
And then someone finally posts after "years and years" only to comment about SOMEONE ELSES SPRITES! Grrrr!

I don't try to but when I first joined I killed quite a great deal of threads.

Reasons why people kill threads:
1. They answer the question in a way that everyone agrees on and the thread stops.
2. A statement is repeated one too many times.
3. You purposly post a thread to stop it because all but one or two people are still posting and the thread lingers for no apperent reason.

There you have it, it makes sense to me.

Yeah, my fan clubs actually. XD It was usually my own fault, because I'd forget I had a fan club until a few months later and it would be long gone by then. XD Though I never liked fan clubs...it feels weird having a thread where all people talk about is me...<<; Which is why every time a member PMs me asking if they can make a club for me I refuse. XD;
