5th Gen Time difference

    So the title says it all, how much time do you think has passed since generation 4 in black and white. In the game there are situations that suggest that a good amount of time has passed.
    1, Caitlin from the battle frontier being alot older.
    2. The team rocket grunt from cerulean city in HG/SS is in the game but with a wife and kid(he states that he met her when he came back to unova)
    3.A Team plasma grunt talks about how team plasma have learned from the mistakes of team rocket and Galactic

    What are your thoughts on this? were there anything in the games that you found that could give hints about the time difference? Do you think its important towards the story?

    I'm guessing about 4 years or however the distance between D/P-B/W.

    I know that Im really late on this, but I knew she looked familiar xD I always thought she was a bit younger. I think it has been at least a solid 3 years since HG/SS
     
    I figure since we really only know the basics of the story there could be alot more hints in the games.
     
    I think that roughly 4-5 years have passed since D/P/Pt because Blair and Whitley look older than their previous-gen counterparts.

    ...this thread is for suggestions as to what the time difference is, not to comment on that dialogue within the games. D:

    Anyway, I'd assume the main two protagonists are 15 or 16 - then compare that to 10 year olds in previous generations, suggesting that in other regions they started their journeys at 10 and now are exploring Unova at age 15? I dunno, but it makes sense kinda.
     
    Hmm...possibly 5 years, I guess. In Caitlin's Platinum depiction, it looks like she is 13 years old. I would like her to be the same age as Black, White, Cheren, and Belle are (~16 years old) in BW's rendering, but her hair and stature look way too big for a 16 year old. So I'm deeming her as 18 years old in BW, resulting in a 5-year difference from the events of Johto and Sinnoh (HGSS and Platinum).

    Cynthia's aged well, judging by her tiny sprite... >_> :cer_love:
     
    I'd say 10 years. You can't really tell from sprites though (remember, Silver barely aged at all from the Celebi event to HG/SS, a 3-year period.) Caitlin's hair is longer, but that doesn't really say much either. The best proof we have is the final Rocket grunt from HG/SS.
