who are you, what do you do with your time, what're you about?

At the moment, I'm in my second year of university, studying biology. I've been a Pokemon fan for as long as I can remember and my first game was Pokemon Ruby when I was about 5-6 years old, Mudkip being my first Pokemon ever and Wurmple being the first Pokemon I caught. My other hobbies include video games, drawing and anime. My most defining hobby, however, is birdwatching and taking part in various research projects regarding birds. I hope to one day build my career in that field.
Here on PC, I'm the guy that lurks mainly in the clubhouse, video games, anime & manga and previous generations sections, sometimes ROM hacking and off topic.

I wouldn't say "regretted immediately", but... *looks at the pre-oredered Warcraft III Reforged*
Other than that, I'm not a very experimental person and tend to spend money only on video games I'm 90% sure I'll like. So I don't think I really own a game that I bought on my own that I dislike.

It's this little fellow, the Firecrest:

First of all, they're absolutely tiny, with only 9 cm and tying with Goldcrest (depending on the source and what measurements are taken into account) for Europe's smallest bird species. When they raise and lower their crown repeatedly, it looks like a little flame and it's strangely satisfying to watch. And overall, they look like angry little floof balls.
