Simple, post you'r top five favorite movies here. BTW, trilogies of movies count as one movie.
Here's mine (In no preticular order)-

Star Wars Trilogy- I actually like the older ones more than the newer ones, but I still like the newer ones. Light Saber duels always have me on the edge of my seat. BTW, Vader pwns. *Pokes Avatar* =3
Jurassic Park- THE FIRST ONE. I don't even wan't to mention the lost world. xP I loved this movie when I was little because I liked dinosaurs so much back then. I still love it to no end, and I'm currently bugging my mom to get it on DVD because the VHS tape no longer works. BTW, I was only a few weeks old when my family wen't to see this movie in the theater (I wen't with them), and I fell asleep half way through the movie. xD
Lord Of the Rings Trilogy- Okay, I cheated, I didn't read the books first. ._.; But, this is an exelent movie, the special effects are amazing, the battles are awsome, and I luff Hobbits. <3
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe- 'Kay, so I didn't cheat this time... I read the first few chapters. I love how it takes little away from the book, and also adds (May I remind you of one part like this; the part where the Germans bomb London.).
Pirates of the carribean- Jack Sparrow... <3 *Ahem* This is another awsome movie, and I can't help but to love pirates. ;3

    I'm obviously a nerd. xP

Okay, please post you'r top five favorite movies. ^_^

God this is quite hard but...

1Spirited AwaySo beautiful with the anime and the best storyline ever. There's so many cool things happening and the characters are awesome.
2The TerminalThis is so good with Tom Hanks and it's cool to see what he does in an airport all day.
3Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire So much action in it and I just love it
4House of Flying Daggers This is a sad yet very fast film with all the cool fighting stuff. I liked it.
5Willy Wonka and the Chocolate FactoryThis is a fun and happy/crazy movie and it's tasty with all the chocolate. The Oopma Loopmas are kinda scary though XD

So that's my 5 films and short reviews. There ya go XD

Star Wars series: I have grown really fond of these as of late.
The Lion King: A classic I must say XD
Interview with a Vampire: I'm a sucker for horrors
King Kong: I really enjoyed this...apart from the over exaggerated parts
House of Wax: I watched it with my friends, its the ultimate thriller.

And then though I have named five, I really do like Moulin Rouge and Chicago XD

    1. Lord Of the Rings: The Return of The King
    2. All Pokemon Movies
    3. King Kong
    4. Robots

    2. National Treasure
    3. Chronicles Of Narnia
    4. Spiderman Movies
    5. Hmm, too many to choose...

    Anchorman
    Pirates Of the Caribbean
    National Treasure
    King Kong
    Digimon: The Movie 2000

Argh, its so difficult to narrow down all my movies just to 5.

    Movies are basicly my life.

    1. Ginger Snaps (all 3)
Not to everyones taste, its bloody, violent and disgusting..I love it with all my heart.

    2. Bram Stoker's Dracula
A true classic, its a fantastic movie that really is one of the greatest.

    3. Beetlejuice
My all time favourite Tim Burton movie, its hilarious and unique.

    4. The Crow
This film is truley amazing, its very sad, especially because the main actor (Brandon Lee) got killed in the making of it. He was a great actor.

    5. The Labyrinth
It was my favourite film as a little girl, I watched it almost constantly, its still one of my favourites to this day.

I've got tonnes more of favourites, but they have to be my top 5.

Okay, well these are my five favorite movies (in no real order):
    1) Clueless
    2) Team America: World Police
    3) National Lampoons: Christmas Vacation
    4) X-Men (Both movies)
    5) Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - I've always liked the second movie the most . . . though, I haven't seen four yet, so this may change.

    1. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Love this movie. So, so much. XD; I'd say I have an obsession with it, but that's an understatement. I've memorized all the songs (and some in French, too), I can probably recite the whole thing if prompted...dude, I have problems.
    2. Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Hilarious. Fricking hilarious. I need not say more.
    3. The Nightmare Before Christmas
I saw this for the first time early last year. I fell in love with it. The animation was amazing. (Did you the the "Making of" and how tedious that looks? I could never do that! x_X) The songs were so awesome. (T'was my introduction to Danny Elfman's scores and music.) Just...everything about that movie was great. I love it so much~ ^_^
    4. A Fish Called Wanda
See number 2. Omg, so funny.
    5. Corpse Bride // Life of Brian
Right, I don't know if I could choose between these two for fifth place (assuming these are my fifth choice...I could very well be forgetting something XD). Corpse Bride I loved for mostly the same reasons as Nightmare Before Christmas. Life of Brian, for the same reason as Holy Grail. Both are awesome. 8D

I don't think I can rank them. I like them all equally, and wouldn't choose to watch one over the other. So, I'll go in alphabetical order.
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery
Out of the three, this is the best. It was overlyperverted like the other two. It was smart, lots of the jokes you had to think about. Lots of jokes are hidden in the details, and you notice them and you just laugh. Like, in the Swingers Club there's a guy staring at a can of soup, it's supposed to be Andy Warhal. Just little touches like that, make it good.

Star Wars, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
The best Star Wars film, hands down. The first one I watched was Return of the Jedi (non-soecial edition). When the special editions came out I got really excited and wanted to watch them. I ended up buying them on video. And for a long time RotJ was still my favourite. But the last two times, that's changed. TESB is more dramatic, and more cinematic, and the score is better, and the store is better, and it has one of the most famous scenes in movie history, and the acting is the best in the entire series.

    Super Mario Bros.
Okay, it may not be the greatest movie in the world. Awful acting, stupid story, strayed completely for the games, and awful special effects (Jurassic Park came out at the same time, and you just can't compare the two). However, I used to watch it so much when I was little because I was uber-Mario-obsessed. So, that's just stuck with me, and every time I watch I go on a nostalgia trip. It's just fun to watch, despite it's crummyness.

Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas
I swear I've seen it before, because I remember it. But the first time I actually watched it was last year. I knew of Danny Elfman before from Spider-Man, but then I just got obsessed with the Nightmare music. I think I like the music more than the movie actually, speaking (non-singing) Jack is awful, but I love everything else about it. I love how it looks, and how it must've taken forever to make it, and I have tons of respect for being the first of it's kind.

    Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
I love this. I haven't watched it that much, but I love it. It's just so well done, and I just can't describe it. It's like cartoon aimed at adults (in the mature storyline way, not the dirty way) but then gets the audience to think like a kid again. It's just fun. Classic cartoons in an adult world. And where else will you see Daffy and Donald duck hell at each other?

    I think I'm missing some.
