    Update #6 on HeartGold.

    Spoiler:

    * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

    Edit:
    Final Update (#7) on HeartGold.

    - So after I beat the Elite Four a bunch and got my team up to around L58, I challenged Blue.

    Total Pokebro's Challenge

Wasn't too hard, although I can't really remember what happened. Only had to use four Pokemon to take down Blue's six.

    - Then I fought the Elite Four again and again, grinding my team up to L71, then used 5 Rare Candies to get everyone except MegaBro to L72.
    - Beat the Elite Four a total of 19 times, lol!
    - I climbed Mount Silver, having taught Rock Climb to MegaBro (forgot Cut).
    - Finally got to Red. Had to give a Choice Scarf to GyaraBro so she could outspeed Pikachu.
    - Here's the play-by-play:

    Spoiler:

    Total Pokebro's Challenge

Forgot to save the screenshot I took, so here's a picture of the Legend Ribbon, with the team in there as well.

Yay! Beat Red! On to Hoenn. I don't know when I will start, though. Probably will use Ruby (again, lol - go Zangoose!).

wow I hadn't realized it had been so long since I updated last (I didn't forget).okay so..here it goes bear with me here it's a long one.
    ~Beat Maylene really easily
~Beat Wake Will got a little ahead of everyone else
~Beat My Rival at every turn
    ~Went to Celestic Pwned Cyrus
    ~Surfed to Canalave
    ~Completely Destroyed Byron
    ~Did the whole lake stuff
    ~Trudged my way to snowpoint
    ~Jack pwned Candice
~Leveled everybody up to the same level as Jack (he went up a lot thanks to Candice)
~Went to Velistone and beat Cyrus and Saturn again, released the mirage Pokemon
~Climbed Mt.Coronet teamed up with my Rival and destroyed Mars & Jupiter
~Beat Cyrus again you have to battle this guy way too much
~Entered Distortion World got lost (like I always do )
~Caught Giratina (to trade it to my SS)
    ~Went to Sunnyshore battled Vaulkner
    ~got through Victory Road
~Trained my team up to level 65, deposited my HM slave (Bibarel)
~Went through the E4 pretty easily
~Went to the Battle Zone and trained to level 75 and went back to the E4
~Battled Aaron,Jack Pretty much swept him.
~Battled Bertha,Medicham took out Whiscash and Gliscor jack took out Rhyperior&Golem and Gibbs took out Hippowdon
~Battled Flint,A sweep by Gibbs is all that was needed here.
~Battled Will, I thought for sure this guy would stop me cold but to my surprise Will and Marty handled him perfectly
~Finally Cynthia,Marty took down her Spiritomb though it was difficult Will took out Milotic by spamming Leaf blade, Medicham was barely able to take out her Togekiss thanks to a crit from Ice punch,Jack took out Lucairo and Roserade and Medicham 1 hit her Garchomp with Ice punch.
whew told you it was long.I would've posted the details of the first E4 run but it was almost exactly the same as the first and Gym battles but i coudn't really remember them :)

    Team:

    Total Pokebro's Challenge

    Jack-79
    Close Combat
    Flare blitz
    Return
    Flame Wheel

    Total Pokebro's Challenge

    Gibbs-77
    Zen Headbut
    Aqua Jet
    Surf
    Rock Climb

    Total Pokebro's Challenge

    Marty-78
    Cross Poison
    Fly
    Aerial Ace
    Roost

    Total Pokebro's Challenge

    Tia-78
    Ice Punch
    Zen Headbutt
    Force Palm
    Psych up

    Total Pokebro's Challenge

    Will-77
    Leaf Blade
    Psycho Cut
    Night Slash
    Swords Dance

this challenge was more difficult than I had thought It was somewhat difficult playing through with 3 pokemon that were same type, keeping them withing in 5 levels of each other was easy though due to thats how I usually keep my teams.

Alright! I am totally gonna do this. I'd like to do the Ultimate Challenge version of this. I'll be starting with FR (errr just to make sure, the remakes count as their original gens, right?).

EDIT: here's the proper SU \o/

    Name: Tonko
    In-Game Name: Astrid
Game: FR, SS, Sapphire, Platinum, then eventually Black/White (to be determined)
    Actual or Emulator?: Actual
Starter Bro: Squirtle, Totodile, Mudkip, Turtwig, Oshawott
Just one game or ultimate?: Ultimaaaaaate
Any extra clauses?: No, I'm taking the easy route, lol.

I got a little bit started last night. My planned team is Blastoise, Pidgeot, Raichu, Tentacruel, Snorlax and Clefable. So far, I have:

    Total Pokebro's Challenge
Anna, level 6, (love getting female starters, and she's sassy, lol)
    Total Pokebro's Challenge
    Buccaneer, level 4

    And now, onward!

Umm... you should probably check the rules again, seeing as how the very first rule states why you can't use a Heracross in Fire Red.

    Also:

I haven't been added to the original post yet, but here's an update:

    Good progress, so far.

-Went through Viridian Forest. Did not have to look very long for a Pikachu. I named her Sagan and forged ahead.
-Pwned Brock's gym with Rill, for the most part. Caught Sagan up to everyone else's level.
-GOT THE RUNNING SHOES FINALLY OMG.
-Got to Mt Moon with a minimum of fuss. Bought a Magikarp because I always buy the Magikarp, and stuck it in the PC.
-Had the absolute worst time on the main floor trying to beat the Scientist trainer with the Magnemite, since I had to chisel it down by inches. Surprisingly got out of that with both the Buccaneer and Rill. Sagan did most of the work, but got KO'd :(
-Got through the rest of Mt Moon. Found two Clefairy, kept the second one because she was the higher level. Named her Ballad
-Taught Ballad MEGA PUNCH from that guy right outside Mt Moon, mostly for kicks. Gonna try and keep that on if I can.
-Looked Clefairy up on Serebii to discover that I will be waiting till level 33 to use my Moon Stone on her, so she can have phenomenal COSMIC POWER (and an itty bitty living space, go figure). Likewise, Sagan needs at least 28 for Thunderbolt, but I think that'll happen well before Celadon.
-Reached Cerulean. Need to level up Ballad to catch up, but want to get everyone to at lest 20 anyway before I get on with Rival, Nugget Bridge, and the gym.

    Current status:

    Total Pokebro's Challenge

    Rill, level 18
    -Tackle
    -Bite
    -Water Gun
    -Withdraw
    Total Pokebro's Challenge

    Buccaneer, level 17
    -Tackle
    -Sand Attack
    -Gust
    -Quick Attack
    Total Pokebro's Challenge

    Sagan, level 16
    -Thundershock
    -Double Team
    -Quick Attack
    -Thunder Wave
    Total Pokebro's Challenge

    Ballad, level 14
    -Mega Punch
    -Growl
    -Doubleslap
    -Sing
