That's pretty sweet! Always nice when someone gives you free stuff. I always enjoy hooking people up with Pokemon. I know how hard it can be to get what you need sometimes.Guys I got the 3DS and pokemon y !!! So excited :) hope I can learn enough to be able to breed and get good pokemon
Some random person.. just gave me a lot of pokemon from the old games.. I cant believe how nice that person was. He gave me a shiny lapras, Ho-Oh, Kygore, a heatran, and a feebas. I cant believe people are this nice..
As long as you ask for a somewhat fair return, people will usually give you just about whatever you want on GTS. It's even easier now that you don't need a Dex entry to look for Pokemon.idk if this works anymore but
in 4th gen, I would breed Scizors and throw them on the GTS. I'd get practically any pokemon I wanted overnight; *****es love the Scizor.
I have gotten an Adamant Murkrow, a Modest Houndoom, and various other goodies. If only I had 2 DS(s), or a 3DS... Nintendo's shutting down of the wifi is gonna seriously cripple me.
If anyone has traded their Wii in for a WiiU, which I hear is possible, can someone please PM me on how it went?

Going to change the topic here, but I have a question for you all.
How do you like the recent changes we've been doing around Trade Corner? Bad? Good? Anything that you think needs changing? Suggestions? Ideas?
Just wanting to know if what we're doing is actually helping make Trade Corner a better place.and making it the best section of PC of course

We're trying to make trade more active, but it's pretty hard to do. Getting input from members helps a lot since then we can know if something works or not.I think the trade mods here are doing extremely well.
I wish the trading section was much more active but what can you do about that.
The QTTs were getting an insane amount of posts per day and we were having to move around too many posts and threads to keep trade organized. We figured there was enough activity to have quick trades as it's own section. As for the QTTs, we're test running them right now. If a certain QTT doesn't get many posts in so long of a time we'll scrap it.Personally, I'm still kind of confused as to why the Quick Trades needed their own section(like Plaza and Trader Reviews). It could just be that I'm so used to the Quick Trades being within Trade Plaza so it's awkward for me to see it this was. Another thing that I don't think really helps a whole lot is having all the different Quick Trades threads. It does give people a place to find /exactly/ what they're looking for, whether it be items or shinies or what have you, but I think a few of them could just be condensed back into a General Quick Trade thread instead of having so many different ones.
There shouldn't be giveaways in Trade Shops anymore, unless they are held in a shop. All giveaways now belong in Quick Trades if they are separate from a shop. I read through the rules in Shops and Quick Trades and edited them to reflect that, but if I missed something do tell me please.
I find them to be quite pleasant:)
It really makes the qtt's easier to hone in on. I'm sure it makes it easier for new people to navigate as well. Shouldn't be anymore guessing as to where to go for what you are looking for.
The only thing I have noticed is the appearance of giveaway threads in 2 different sections. Maybe a more defined specification on where to put those is needed but that's all:)
You trade mods have stepped up the game.
You kind of hinted at the trade corner being the best section, but in all honesty it probably should be. The way the games are designed, you almost have to be a part of an online community to get them all. The way I see it, a lot of people are searching for a reliable and easy way to get those pokemon. With the way PC is set up now, it's a dang good place for newbies to find that sanctum of trade. I remember when I first came here from a different site, I was overwhelmed by all of the "rules", but after finding a niché here, I see why they are in place. In the chaotic realm of the online world, peace and order are highly needed. If not, then frickin pirates would rule the world. There has been thought put into the trade corner, and so it should be:) keep up the good work and this site could thrive on this section alone if needed. Not that it needs to, given all of the other wonderful sections.

Something else we can't help is the ebb and flow of trade across all forums in general. Before X&Y were released trade was... dead. Trade Corner was like a ghost town and it was kinda scary. Then X&Y were released and trade went insane. Compared to recent history, trade now is booming. But I agree with you. I too would love to see trade super busy and posts every 5 seconds or so, but that takes time to happen.Don't get me wrong, I'm not really trying to beat you over the head with that as it's a factor out of the mods' control.
Maybe I'm setting the barometer too high though, somewhere between 1/2 of Gamefaqs activity to this current "situation" (Can't think of a better word for this, it'd be nice for someone to help me out?) would be nice. Trading community needs to be more known to the fanbase but that's much easier said than done.

And we're not taking any offense to what you say. We appreciate your opinions. :)
70?! I've never seen it that high before. But it's doing its job since the scamming has pretty much stopped since we've implemented it.In my opinion Trade Corner hasn't been more organized in the four years I've been trading. You are doing a spectacular job! I love the new QTT sub-forum and the Trader Reviews. I'm sure these changes will bring more people to Trade Corner.
I don't remember exactly when, but the Trader Reviews had over 70 visitors at a time not long ago. That is very impressive.
The shops would have some posts every once in awhile, but we had one QTT back then and it was rarely posted in, about like it is now. Trading since the release of X&Y has dramatically changed and it is a lot more active now. Having four mods helps since when it was just three of us we were doing way too much work. D: Keiran is awesome and is very helpful. <3As I remember it, in 2011 TC was still a very active and thriving section. I've never seen it dead or not-active. It's got a lot of mods because it needs a lot of mods. You all are very busy and work very hard to make this section work.
Also, I appreciate you all <3
