I mean, You can RNG legends, and random pokemon. Not just the ones you breed -.-
 
Well, I wouldn't mind having a blacklist, but everyone makes mistakes now and then. I mean, one can be an excellent trader, and then, accidentally, a hacked Pokemon comes under radar. I mean, if it's not intentional, then I understand and one shouldn't be blacklisted for that.
However, if one is intentionally scamming members by trading hacked Pokemon repeatedly, then yes, it's a bad thing.
On that note, it's also possible for one to merely lie about whether or not they knew a Pokemon was hacked or not. So.. yeah D:

However, I don't think that a person's reputation from another forum should carry over - that was there, this is here. Sure, there's a possibility that they could do it here, but there's also a chance they've changed. ):

Edit to Add: And guys, keep in mind, PC is PC. It's not BMGf, SPPf, or Smogon. :)
 
I would like a Hack-Checking Sticky.

It's not like you assume where one person says they will hack-check your pokemon and they trade it over and 50% of the time get scammed.

The person who wants their pokemon hack-checked post all the information about the pokemon in the thread and one of the seasoned traders here confirms to them whether their pokemon is legit or not.

This is already going on in the DCC and a sticky for it would just reduce SPAM and encourage members unsure about their pokemon to get it hack-checked therefore getting rid of hacks in members trade threads.

I see a RNG Thread as a good idea, but i dont know who would help others other then myself...... And yes you can RNG Wild Pokemon and Legends my old thread is proof of that and legends are easy too, Basically you can RNG Abuse anything Wondercards, Gift Pokemon such as the Eevee Bebe gives you or the Starter Pokemon the Professer gives you, and you can even RNG Abuse Fossil Pokemon......
 
Ursula, maybe if you don't want to make a blacklst of hacked pokemon instead? People could report them and you just update the first post.

We could just use smogons RNG guide and give them credit like a bunch of other forums do.

Make new prefixes like

Event shop

EV'd Shop

Breeder shop

mixed shop

or something to help people determine what kind of shop they will click on

personally i think that would be a bad idea
it would be way to long and get out of hand
 
Well what else are we going to do with all the hacked pokemon around here?
 
How about a Blacklist with a Point System
Heres how it would work
First time you get caught trading hacks no amtter who it came form or if you knew or not You would be given a Warning and given 1 Point
The second time you are caught trading hacks you will recieve another Point and that would put you onto the Blacklist because you were already given a warning
If there is a Third time you will recieve 1 more point and that makes 3 a Mod locks your thread and you get put onto the Blacklist and arent allowed to make another trade thread..... Opinions?

So heres what it would be

2: Reason
3: Reason
 
And you earn points if a member reports you on the blacklist as doing x? Thats actually a good idea....

Instead of not letting them make another thread though, maybe ban them from making one until x amount of time is up? and then if they dont stop ban all threads by them permanently.

You would just earn a Point eveyr time a hack is found on your thread or any other reason such as lying about the IV's and Natures of said traded pokemon
And no i dont think there should be a time of ban it should be permanant after 3 Warngind dont you think you had enough leeway?

Also there should be a Blacklist for Disconnectors and Hackers in the Battle Thread and it could work on a Point System too
 
But who is just going to go through every single traders thread purposely looking for hacks? Thats really not smart IMO, just time consuming ad wasteful.

And a person who recieved a hacked pokemon unknowingly should not be blacklisted for trading it, maybe only if they caught or bred it.

This would require everyone to post their OT/ID on their first post though.

You dont have to go through every thread they will be found in time trust me lol One by one too

And a Person who recieves a Pokemon in a Trade thats hacked should take full responsibility they are responsible for what they trade and should take further precaution to this when it isnt there OT

And yes that would be a Good Idea to list the OT/ID/Username of the Person you got it from and that person should get 2 points autamtically and the psrson who recieved it one, now if you dont think the person that recieved it getting a point is unfair then the hacker themself will just get a point that is up to the Mods to decide
 
That seriously wont work. I was on a forum that did a similar thing. Failed horribly.

But how will they know its hacked? ANYONE can Pokesav a pokemon to make it look legit.

Illegal IV Combinations
Hack Checks
Obvious Reasons like the OT/ID/Pokeball its In/Region it came from

Because PC is preety much like the one I came from.

Most people with pokesav arent that dumb...illegal IV comos only account for legends. Now, unless we have a set person to do all this checking, how will it get done?

The OT/ID would kinda only account for Events, no?

Most pokemon can be found in multiple regions.

Ummm Egg Move plus Ultra Ball ever think of that? Also some Pokeball's werent available in some regions like Dusk Ball in the 3rd

Theres quite a few legends that can only be caught on one game bar some because of HG/SS but what i meant by that is where they were caught, such as Palkia Route 224 (Hack) Or Legnedary dogs from the 3rd Generation with IV's Greater then 5, theres a few more i can think of but im not gunna post it all

I have a question. Are you just looking at the Iv's of a Pokemon and determining if its a hack or not? Like the pokemon is Shiny and it has almost all 31's across the board? Because my friend is an Iv Breeder and uses RNG, and that feat is very easy to accomplish for him after a few hours.

Theres quite a few legends that can only be caught on one game bar some because of HG/SS but what i meant by that is where they were caught, such as Palkia Route 224 (Hack) Or Legnedary dogs from the 3rd Generation with IV's Greater then 5, theres a few more i can think of but im not gunna post it all

No one who hacks is going to say...I can catch wild palkia swarming on route 224. Its only a UBER, and a Legendary dragon. No one will notice it I bet.

Only legendaries can have IV restrictions and Illegal IV's regular pokemon like Sceptile and Bibarel can have any IV combination they like or possible

That is an Illegal IV combination for Cresselia, i know who would want a Lonely Cresselia but its just an example
EDIT: Yes with RNG Abuse you can get the IV's and Nature you want of any Pokemon thats possible to Abuse

Note that these are just obvious ways of telling hacks the obvious and quickest ways, now the most reliable way would be a hack check can we end this discussion?
