4th Gen Train team

How long does it take you to train your team? It took me one month and I still haven't finished my first team yet. My hours of playing is 100:14. I think. Right now I have 44-81 for my pokes. They are a pain in the butt of playing them. I'm planning on selling the game. Getting tired of this game.

I've been training four/five Pokemon so far. My highest would be my Rampardos, who's Lvl. 76 while the others range between 50-65. I haven't been training them for too long, as I keep getting distracted trying to breed other Pokemon to train up. Problem is, there's too many I want to train!

I train them to Lvl. 50 fairly quickly by repeatedly fighting the Elite 4. Not only does this train my Pokemon, but it also gives me decent money to buy more medicines for future training.

I never really finnish training my team so I guess I don't have a time! Theres always a way to improve a pokemon, even one at lv 100 (like moves battles etc)

I spent all summer to make my team, 'cause I had to study.

Normally, it takes me a few weeks/months for me to train my team to the fullest (just before reaching the E4).

I beat the games in a week... I stop at about level 50 to 60 (I have only had maybe 4 Pokemon to ever surpass 80). After I beat the E4, I abuse the Gym Leader rematches. Lance Round 2 just wrecks me too much, so no E4 training for me.

It took me about 2 weeks to get my team of lv 100's to 80's. According to this, I'm quick!! However, it might just be because I care about 6-12 pokemon that I actually train and then the rest are just stuck in the pc forever. ^_^

you need to get you a tyranitar!! ^_^

but seriously, I can take down lance with my lv100 tyranitar without taking a hit. It's fun when you stone edge a charizard and the thing takes about a minute to die.

Probably a month for me to get my whole team to at least lv. 80 or 70.I usually do elite 4 battles, etc. TO get to 100 from there will be another month for about 2 of them.

Well my I have 6 pokemon at levels 55-56.
I still need to grind them to beat Red, I do intend to do it at some stage its just I am unsure when I will ;)

I'm currently around 65-73 by basically going through the Elite Four and, at times, using particular pokemon on certain ones (I use my Golem to take out Koga, Alakazam to take out Bruno in general and Articuno for Lance in general).

It is a bit of a slog at first, but when they reach a high enough level, it makes training new pokemon much easier.

If you're planning on selling, trade me some of the rarer ones. ;)

I currently have about 20 pokemon at 50+, some of which i brought in from my platinum. (Gengar, Rhydon, Ferraligtr, Alakazam, Shiny Mewtwo, Charizard, Gyarados, Togekiss, Machamp, Shinx and a load more)
I'm being a bit cheesy, as im using Dialga, Palkia and Giratina (all roughly about lvl 75) a lot. Stuff it, i need all the help i can get! My lvl 73 Scyther is working well for me aswell!

Trying to bring up a Pinsir (sat at level 17) to join my team i hope soon.

Im still trying to decide what would be a good addition to my team, i could do with replacing Dialga and Palkia with non legendaries... any suggestions?

how about replacing dialga and palkia with umbreon and dragonite??

It depends on how much time I have on my hands, and if I want to rush through the game or take it slow. Right now I'm in Cianwood and all of my Pokémon are between the levels of 27 and 29. It's taken me about a month to get here, so as you can tell I'm taking it slow. Slow enough so I can complete the game, move onto Platinum and Ruby one more time, and hopefully by then have my English version of White in my hands next year. XD;

What I usally do is just train my game team to all 100s then get better pokemon for online battling from trades.

man i dislike hgss for the fact its so hard to level up, and the levels are so low. even for wild pokemon. There is no real solid place to train up. ugh. but other then that its alright.

Its taken me 100+ hours of gameplay to reach a full team of lv 70+ and im still not done :(

It took me 112:23 hours to get my party pokemon to Lv 100.

I find it difficult to train on Pokemon HG/SS, purely because:

• No VS. Seeker
• Gym Rematches only on certain days
• Re-batteling E4 Over & Over Gets Too Repetitive.

I usually just trade some over to Platinum and train them there :).
