Trainer type: The WANNABE SUPERHERO! Inspired by the brave superheros in your favorite comics, you have decided to don a cape and mask and fight crime! Your optimistic personality and bulging muscles make you a natural for the role, but you can be a bit unaware and spastic at times, lending yourself to some unintentional comedy as you bumble through the fight against evil.

Team:
The Hero: Lucario - Blue, muscular, steel
Lucario is your primary comrade in the fight against Team Plasma. He must lead off every major fight and participate in every double battle without being switched out. He must only know attacking moves and hold a battle item that seems appropriate for a hero (something like a focus band, expert belt, muscle band). His level should also be consistently higher than the rest of your party.

The Sidekick: Azumarill - water, kind, mammals
Azumarill is Lucario's sidekick, the Robin to his Batman. In double battles she must lead with Lucario. Her moveset should feature 2 attack moves of different types and 2 support/status moves.

The Utility Belt: Klinklang - neither masculine nor feminine, steel, spastic
Klinklang is your utility belt, and as such its moveset can only contain 1 direct attacking move, with the rest being status/support moves. Perhaps base its moveset off of typical superhero gadgets, with each move being a gadget or tool.

Challenges:

-You must fight every "evil" trainer: Bikers, Roughnecks, Team Plasma grunts, etc.
-Name your character a superhero-ish name and your Pokemon superhero names as well. Existing heroes are acceptable but it'd be cool if you came up with something original.
-You fight for justice 'till the bitter end and don't stop until your foe is vanquished. As such, healing items cannot be used in battle (except held items; also, healing moves are fine).

Absol is the fan favorite, adding his own twist to whatever role he's assigned and making it work. No restrictions here; just have fun!

Pelipper: Flying, Pisces, Birds
Unfortunately, every band has its negatives as well as its positives. Pelipper is a burden, only having supporting moves and STAB moves, and must appear in every battle at least once, as well as finish off the last Pokemon of major bosses (Rival, Gym Leaders, Elite Four, Team Aqua Admins, etc.) if possible, in hopes of proving its worth and making the most out of a bad reception.

Special Missions:
-Your group must have personality, as well as recognizability. Name your Pokemon after your favorite (or least favorite!) punk or rock musicians, and jot down their interactions with each other either in the update or after, in an additional spoiler.
-Touring is tough. To pay for supplies, you must spend at least half of what you obtained in any given route (or routes if multiple) at either a Poke Mart or other item shopping spots after reaching the town after it, or whichever town you arrive at afterwards has places where you can do so.
-Once the journey is over (Stephen is defeated), you can either put the band on hiatus and write out or sketch a group photo of you and your team, or do the Delta Episode for publicity's sake, and keep the group going strong for years to come.

the first 2 apply to most challenges

1. You dont have to actually record them though a few screenshots/pics as evidence is nice, usually a HoF pic or something, though feel free to record it. just make sure you update in the appropriate thread (for this challenge that would be this thread) when you make significant progress

2.Either works, i own a physical copy of Platinum and White version but i have played them emulated before, the older games are usually emulated though from what i see, though i'm sure some people have working GBAs or the VC versions of red/blue

Optional: Though defeating the champion finishes the veteran's journey, a true trainer seeks out additional challenge and will journey to the fight area and capture or defeat the legendary heatran within the volcano.

However, there's a few things that might need clarification...
First off, should I use higher level mons to get things done faster
or should I use lower level ones in order to get higher stats?
For instance:
Staraptor - I have a lv.33 starly in the boxes, it shouldn't be a problem nevermind, I realized I gotta get one from route 201!My bad:P
Blissey - I got a couple lv.18 chanseys, a lv.18 happiny(coming along with the chanseys from the trophy garden) and the egg-hatched happiny.
Also,about the roserade... oh, nevermind!I have an other shiny stone!
We're safe...except I gotta know whether I should get myself a she-roselia or a she-budew!
(again, a higher level mon gets things done faster but a lower lever one grows stronger when
reaching high levels).
I've read "get digging for those red shards"... should I get 10 shards or only 4 since I already have 6?
Heatran is optional, but again, it's already in a box reserved to legendaries, so... ~_~

see generally yeah people who do challenges start a new game, if you dont want to wipe your diamond file you can always emulate it or pearl, since you can emulate soulsilver and black diamond or pearl (or even plat if you want) should be no problem

Special Mission: environmental studies. you dont want to capture too many pokemon and disturb the natural balance, but you still need to study them, as such you should endeavor to see all non SoS pokemon on a route at least once before moving to the next route.

Okay, might have started the challenge, however I need to know whether I am allowed
to level my just-caught lv.2 starly with assistance from the starter(or just get a lv.3 starly).
You see, 2 is the minimum level on route 201 and Lake Verity, and all the opposing wild
pok?mon have either tackle or either growl, and considering I'm not allowed to get his
health points below one third of the total, it is implied that evry time I'd have to get
back home and ask ma to prescribe us some ointment on the double...

generally for the beginning, training a pokemon early that you have to get using your starter is fine as long as its wild pokemon, just make sure its strong enough to fight alone before you get to the trainers on the route past sandgem town
