"close range hit, bad move" I said, as my Lanturn used Ice beam.. it would hardly do anything to lanturn, but the Raichu was in for a world of hurt...

The force of the beam send Raichu shooting back through the air... Unfourtunatley for both of them, his tail was still twined around lanturn's lamp and was pulled along. I gloated to myself, I had taught him this next trick myself, and I had the scar to prove it. Raichu spun itself upright, and whipped lanturn underneath him, making the landing rough for both of them, but much rougher for lanturn.

had to love pokemon with WAY too many HP... lanturn started shocking itself again, and healed itself to about 4/5 of it's health... it then focused it's mind, and used dive..

Raichu got a secure grip on the ground, and wouldn't let lanturn use dive. Using a quick burst of energy, it flipped over, pulling lanturn away with a swift motion.

IC: the lanturn increased it's pace, and proceeded to drag the Raichu straight down into the water... there, it waited, swimming around, checking for signs of drowning

OOC: No, I'm saying I taught it well enough to get out of the water while attached to a fish.
Raichu used it's tail like a rope, and grabbed a hold of Lanturn's gills, holding them shut. And through electrical charges, (From the 2nd movie) she said "Swim towards the surface, and I'll let you breathe."

"you'll drown sooner than I will" the Lanturn responed calmly... he procedded to dive even deeper, to the point where the pressure was too much for normal pokemon

Nat watched the two powerful Pokemon duke it out. She knew how she was going to battle this time, and would make no mistakes. The fire of battle burned in her eyes as she absentmindedly stroked her Azuril. She watched with interest at the attacks being used, mostly physical. Nat knew she could beat the Leader, she would just have to be more careful....

"cause I can still breathe. I did this to myself all the time. you arn't blocking my air at all" Lanturn responded.. reminded him of the time he had dropsy.. not fun, and nearly fatal... but thank goodness, he could still breathe easily, unlike the dropsy insident...
