I agree. I think of the reasons B2W2's remasters weren't as nostalgic was due to not having as much trumpets as the originals.

Yeah, the few Hoenn tracks that were in Black2/White2 weren't so great. Except for this one:

Yeah, the Champion song was my favorite out of the B2W2 Hoenn based songs.


I hope that they'll add a few new tracks too, maybe for new areas.

I kinda hope they limit the use of synths and techno beats except in some areas like New Mauville and give off some natural beats this time since that was Hoenn is all about.

Have you guys ever wondered if GF would use like an updated RSE feel soundtrack or adopt X and Y's soundfonts and be completely different yet Hoenn-styled? I hope they would stay and just update the sounds imo.

I'm not entirely sure if I got what you mean but I'm pretty sure the tracks are going to be remixes of the old ones, they're going to sound different but they're hopefully going to keep the same style and feeling of the original(they're definitely going to be closer than B2/W2 version).

Anyway I hope they orchestrate the old tracks, RSE ost would sound great that way and will fit hoenn perfectly.
