Greenlit: Typing Speculation Article

With the appearance of this video, there seems to be some solid groundwork for some speculation as to the typing of Litten and Poplio's evolutions. I'd like to write an article focusing primarily on that speculation and pondering how the typings would come into play for the Pokemon.

I'd also consider some typing speculation for the box legendaries who are also briefly mentioned in the video (their supposed names).

I think it's worth a speculation article, but I feel we should be careful about saying this is for the Starters. For instance, these icons aren't necessarily for the starters - it could be for the mascot legendaries, or it could be for any other new Pokemon that may be revealed later that happen to be ground and fighting type. After all, we typically find out about other new Pokemon before we find out about any of the starter evolution forms - if they are revealed at all before release. Furthermore, as Jake said elsewhere it can be just a lazy site person who put up a few extra after the three that have been used and hasn't done the rest yet.

Hence, I would frame it more as a 'the next Pokemon to be revealed may be of these typings'. It is worth including the video/talking about how it may be a starter Pokemon typing as well, but I am far from convinced, especially given the generic urls, that these necessarily tie to the starter Pokemon.

EDIT: Also worth saying that the typings suggested in the video don't necessarily hold either, e.g. Rowlet could become Grass/Ground and Litten remains Fire (maybe unlikely, but who knows? Nothing suggests it has to be the way the video presents it imo.)

Ugh, I hate speculation articles. So pointless.

HOWEVER, an article pointing out the existence and giving an explaination of this video is probably a good idea for content.

Agreed with what's been said above. I think starting out by explaining the legit facts (ie these images are what was found) and then explaining possibilities of what this could mean but treating them as mere possibilities, would be a good way to approach the topic.
