Issue: UCP thread list weeeird

There's something going on with my UCP thread list, and I don't like it :p Normally it shows a list of my subscribed threads, in the order they were last posted in. When I've viewed a few of those threads, they still show up in the UCP list in the order they were last posted in, but non-bolded. If I log out and in again, the list updates and only shows threads with new posts since my last login... I think.

But today things have seemed to changed and I don't know if it's a weird thing on my end or someone fiddling with settings on PC, or something else. Now, I get a list of subscribed threads in the UCP that is, hehe, hugely long. It's every thread there has been a new post in since I last checked them. They won't go away if I log out and back in, and the worst part is - when I check a thread, or reply to it, it disappears from the list. Instead of showing up as non-bolded, it completely disappears and instead the annoyingly long list of threads I've automatically subscribed to and not checked for weeks (despite logging in and out several times during that time) shows. Which means I have to scrooooooooooll to reach my post likes or subscribed forums list.

I don't like this, can I fix it somehow? Or if someone has actually changed something on PC, can you change back please? :) I guess some might think that this is how it's supposed to work, and think I should just make an extra click to get to my "subscribed threads" list instead. But I was very content without that extra click :/ has anyone else experienced this or has my UCP just been glitched since forever? :p

EDIT: hm, I guess it's not just my UCP actually. Whenever I view an index, threads are bolded since weeks back. It's like you've updated something recently that reset something. Something something.

Things are happening to make the read/unread thread system thingy work a bit better but for now there are threads you've already seen everywhere. Clear them out as described in that announcement and you're back to normal. :]

Oh my, I feel not a little bit stupid now. I guess this proves that people don't often read announcements xD

I guess it might be better this way. Work on, guys.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that didn't see the announcement and freaked out. At least you didn't a get a flippant response about it like I did.

Now that I know what I'm looking for I do indeed like it. I'm still wondering when that announcement was posted up there. There is no time frame. I looked and looked this morning for some information pertaining to this "problem" and didn't see anything. When I brought it up in a daily chit chat thread(albeit the wrong one perhaps, but we all bs in this certain DCC anyways) I received a very rude response to which I plan on doing something about since it pissed me off to no end with me already having a horrendous day.
Of course, I didn't see anything bolded to alert me to to a new announcement either:/

For myself, it shows up in the main forum index above the list of sections, and above threads in some sections (like this one), but not in others (like 5th gen, although the postcount rewards announcement does show up at least). So something funky is going on I think.

could there please be an option in our UCP to remove a thread we don't want to check?
Not [unsubscribe], but a [mark as read] option for a single thread.
I'd love to remove a thread where the latest post was a week ago. -,-

i can just go and visit that said thread, but hey, there are pipz like me who are lazy of doing so... =/

I guess you could just unsubscribe from it. Or go and check it. I mean, if you don't want to check it, why would you want to be subscribed to it?
