Anime/Manga uguu?

Dang that reminds me. Gotta catch upto jojo. Only on episode 12 of stardust crusaders part 1 so far.

But this OP was hype. The beginning like you said and that part at the end, especially. Where we see 'za warudo' and "oramuda". Amazing stuff.

Also, can't see any character grow up to be like wanko. Wanko is wanko. Best girl. Not everyone can become best grill.

I got a buddy of mine bringing in JoJo Stardust Crusaders every week during Summer Anime Club, so I'm not too far behind on JoJo.

It's been awhile, but then again, Stardust Crusaders was a pretty damn long arc.

^ that post made me laugh. Thank you. XD;

People. Watch Shimoneta. Go in blind. Don't read the synopsis or any impressions. Just. Watch the first episode. I did. And it was rewarding.

I JUST DID AND I LOVED IT.

We need a topic for that, it was too much WIN.

I'm making it tomorrow (can't tonight. On phone). Please don't steal the thread from me okay?!!!?

Ikr though. Such a gem. Loved it so much

IT IS UP. POST IN IT.

I just hope it keeps being absurd, ridiculous and funny as heck every episode. Would definitely take the very top from any other show for me this season then seeing I'm a big comedy fan. <333

Gonna finish Sankarea today. Also, downloaded all of Hibike Euphonium! so I can binge watch that too. :3

also, I said I'd pick up 2-3 series this season max. 2-3 MAX.

I know that feel. Added 3 more anime into my master watching plan for the first 3 weeks of the season after spotting them in my streaming services last night... and that's not even counting stuff that I want to watch but don't have a streaming service for (my PS3 has become my primary means of watching).

I have the same problem, I won't be able to pick many series this season and I am not sure where to start D:!

Speaking of Monster Musume, I watched the first episode.

Kinda disappointed. I'll give it time, of course (2 episodes is my testing period, possibly 3ish since it varies), but...I dunno. For a show focused on Monster Ecchi it made Highschool DxD look like hardcore H. It was less because of what it showed (since it wasn't afraid to go full-frontal nor was it afraid to skip innuendo and just say things plain as day) as it was the simplicity of the designs and actions.

And I checked out the first chapter of the manga afterwards to see if it was more detailed, but it looked pretty much the same (albeit with slightly terrifying eyes on the lamia) and really faithful, minus fogged-up nips. It didn't have much in the way of comedy either so all that it had was its concept. But since it's so faithful or just introducing characters, I'll give it time to get into its groove.

And, to the anime's credit, from an audiovisual standpoint (and this is just me being an under-the-hood nerd), it really nails providing powerful feedback behind interactions. For instance, when main girl uses her tail to grab the MC from across the room, its quick and strong, and the show makes the audience feel it thanks to the number of frames used and the bassier SFX, rather than fewer, simpler effects that are generally used for more comedic situations. Probably not the best way to explain it and it's not really something that'll change your opinion of the show, but it's a nice touch that makes actions feel like they have a real impact and gives things a sense of scale.

Hiya, first post in this section of the forum.
I am the kind of person that waits for all the episodes to come out and then watch the whole thing.
Can't stand cliffhangers.

So I will start with Spring 2015 anime soon c:
I watch any anime as long as they're good. Any recommendations?
I don't do well with harems. Especially not ecchi harems. Ugh.

Hm...I'm never good with questions this general...

But for shows that I'd recommend to anyone, regardless of what they're into...Shirobako's absolutely fantastic and I'd definitely recommend it.

You seem to be a fan of DRRR! so, if you haven't already, give Baccano! a shot (in English, preferably, since it really sells the setting). Great characters, relatively short, and an overall fun ride.

Nichijou's hilarious and pretty much anyone who's seen it will recommend it to you as a good-sized comedy. On that same boat, Mitsudomoe is hilarious as well, and Gintama, though it's a lot longer, is just consistently great.

...Those are a few standout examples. See guys? I know how to make short posts sometimes.

Geez, I am so sorry. First thank you for writing this out.

I actually meant 'recommendations' from Spring 2015 anime. He-he c: ..
I tried watch Baccano! but since you get thrown into an already ongoing story, and after episode 2 I still had no idea what was going on. But some friends and I are planning on marathoning it this July. It scores so high, IT HAS TO BE GOOD.

Shirobako was good fun, and I hope nichijou will get a freaking second season.
Mitsudomoe, I will check that one out. And yeah, Gintama is really long, but I will give that one a shot someday. I sat through Bleach and Naruto, after all.

Thanks!

Ah, whoops. I kinda figured that but- ah, well.

If you're looking for the Spring 2015 picks, best to look here. It's a vote, but if you want to get this forum's collective opinions of Spring 2015, there's no better place to look.

Ah, sweet. Thanks. Quickly reads Ah yes, =w= my girlfriend keeps on telling me to watch shokugeki no souma, as well.. Fine.
Usually I'm against watching before it has ended. But, I'm a amateur cook, I can't surpress my feelings for it much longer.

Gonna look at some spring stuff pretty soon, methinks. Interestingly enough I've already started on Summer though, heh. Couldn't resist the Gatcha.

In other (27 years old) news, the anime that first introduced the concept of jiggling breasts to the medium (although as part of making characters move realistically rather than being fanservicy, as is often the case these days) is absolutely stellar. You know what, Anno, you're pretty cool.

What series are we talking about, again? The only Anno works I know are Eva and....Eva.

Although I remember him doing Gunbuster before Eva. That's it. And working as an animator in some other works.

Summer is definitely very cool. Or should it rather be called "hot"? Either way, I'm really happy with summer series so far. Charlotte is fantastic, Ranpo Kitan is very intriguing, I love Ushio to Tora and the retro feel it gives off, Gangsta is super cool, Shimoneta is just batshit insane and then there are other shows like Rokka no Yuusha, Akagami no Shirayuki-hime and others. Definitely enjoying the series this time around. And there I was thinking summer was gonna be super dry just a few weeks ago XD; Add to the mix I already mentioned some potentially good shows (Aoharu x Kikanjuu, that Seiyuu anime) and the Spring leftovers and I'm packed this season.
