Even though I've still only watched one episode of Shirobako.
^MFW. OLM gave this gift of glorious collapse animation to man- nay, to me- that I may express my disappointment.

Working my way through the shows airing this season completely without context. Thoughts.
Danchigai - A three and a half minute show about a brother and his touchy-feely sisters. I'm not really sure what this show is but I can only assume it's a lighthearted RomCom, and it's not particularly funny (well, as far as episode 1's concerned) though the pink-haired little sister's great. And there's a tsun, who'll likely be main girl, and it's also his definitely not interested sister. I don't particularly care for her, but as long as this show doesn't spawn two OVAs than the two of us will get along just fine.
Monster Musume - Already talked about this one in this thread. It's a wacky ecchi about monster girls, and so far it's...eh. But it's also only been one episode and there are only three characters, so I'll reserve my judgment.
Ushio and Tora - I've watched a mere 6 minutes of this show and I already love everything that it is. I sadly did learn that this show was a love letter to 90s anime, and goddamn if it doesn't feel like it. The manga's from the 90s, but looking at shows like Parasyte, that doesn't mean a thing. It's the type of shonen that you don't get the feel of at all anymore- it was lost to the 80s/90s without any good reason, so this show existing really is a breath of fresh air. Looking forward to it.
Teekyu 5 - It's Teekyu. There's not much I can say. It's insane, it's great, and it's the best short of the season.
My Wife is the Student Council President (uncensored) - This is another short one, clocking in with an 8 minute runtime. It's a RomCom and it's pretty much everything the title says. The designs are really basic, the animation can get doughy and melt a lot (which is to say, the animation's pretty inconsistent), and it's exactly what you probably think it's going to be. Is it good? Um...well. Episode 1 tries to sell the show with sexual content and symbols but isn't all that interesting, and Episode 2 is a pretty standard scenario but still manages to be pretty cute in the end (and humorous). It's not great, but it respects your time and is far from bad. Plus the SCP's voice has me since it's not as light as you'd expect and is pretty forceful, which caught me off guard (for the better).
GATE - Nooooooo idea. I mean, it's a show about an otaku and a Gate. The execution's interesting but the setup does give me certain bad vibes that I'm going to have to keep watching to work off.
Dragon Ball Super - I like it. Music's good, animation's nice, and it focuses on the characters, which is the most I could ever ask for out of Dragon Ball. Also- and I'm not sure how- but it managed to make Videl cute despite her post-Buu redesign. Not sure if this was the case for BotG, but I really like her design here- hell, I really like how everything looks. But what grabs me the most, what mostly appeals to me (and something that I always enjoy in a show), is that the show really puts an emphasis on the characters' relationships. Family feels like family, and the love between them really shows. I've always been one for familial relationships in shows and in Dragon Ball Z I really felt like it was only really there when it was either convenient for the plot or when the show had time to breathe (so twice). Interested to see where it'll go.
Gatchaman Crowds Insight - Can't comment on the episode for reasons, but I will say that the little girl looks like Red was set to 255, Green and Blue were set to 0, and someone raised the Contrast to 101. Jesus Christ.
