On topic of drinking though. I'm 20 and all my friends consider me weird for not being even slightly interested in drinking or trying weed out, heh. I don't think I'm ever doing that. Just don't feel the need to.. :p

Anyway, its been 4 episodes for most series and I've already dropped two series. That's quite a bit and a bit too fast for any season. On the other hand, quite a few good series around too this season. :3

AH that reminds me! We're getting cable and internet in our house on Wednesday, so I'll be able to maybe catch up on at least a couple series before this season ends, yayy.

...Oh right, this is the Anime and manga DCC.
I, uh, recently finished a short-ish manga I've been reading. And, um, time to watch some seasonal shows! Ganbatte, me!

I stalked myself and wow, I have the exact same longitude as Dupont Circle.

Meaning if you got off at the DC Metro and walked straight north, you'd eventually find me.

Uh, yeah. At Otakon there were lots of memes. The Touhou panel sucked. My friends cosplayed as Tenshi, Kongou, Love Lives, etc. A bunch of people thought I was the girlfriend of the guy cosplaying as Tenshi. Other stuff happened.

Now all we need is a latitude.

I assume that's 2hu Tenshi. My first thought was the KanaHana girl in Angel Beats accompanied by a very effeminate Otonashi. Actually, what did you cosplay? Kosupure obligatory. Serufu-kosu kinshi.

I don't remember a character named Tenshi being in Angel Beats. I also don't remember there being a HanaKana in Angel Beats.

Speaking of anime, I decided on My Wife is the Student Council President. Following it. The ecchi can be forced, but it's never really shameless or overboard, and I actually, strangely, like the characters. Wasn't expecting to enjoy this one nearly as much as I am.

And, eerily, its plot is similar to Shimoneta's.

Tenshi in Angel Beats is Angel.

Oh, Angel. Yeah, I remember her.

Pretty sure that wasn't HanaKana, though. Unless she got really good at English just for that role.

Then again, she doesn't really say all too much, anyway.

Huh, well if she did she can really hide her accent. You'd never know she wasn't born and raised in the not-so-homeland of English, America.

So... I better make you remember this important fact that is more important than any important fact of Angel Beats.

I think AB! actually was the first anime where I took note of HanaKana. Then she rapidly started appearing everywhere I looked.

So...yeah, this has basically just been me drawing out a completely non-humorous joke about how HanaKana didn't voice Angel in Angel Beats, but she did voice Tenshi in Tenshi no Beats. Because I watched the dub; I only knew that she was Tenshi because of...maybe a wikipedia article I read once.

But it works on two levels because Angel Beats is one of those series where you can't really interchange the names because the language you're watching corresponds with the character. If they'd kept the name Tenshi but translated the show to Angel Beats, the title'd lose a lot of its meaning. Vice versa's true, too.

On the topic of Akiba's Cosplay, you should have forced them into an ultimatum where you only dress up as Renko if one of them dressed up as Maribel. Or very debatably, Yukari.

There is this one guy who calls himself "Yukari Chen," and whenever he comes to cons, he puts on this amazing Yukari cosplay and some shades. dank af.
