Oh I forgot to mention this in the last post - OPM HYPE IS REAL. I'm so fucking excited for the show I don't even know how to express myself lmao

No, Dero. No, it was. I can't even measure the disappointment.
Don't know if I'm being ridiculed for making a lame-ass overused reference or just being told a fact (ಥ﹏ಥ)

although it is my fault in the first place so uhh...in the end, it doesn't even matter.

/runs away.

Well, I'm just a little confused. Remember a little while ago when Famon asked about why dubs do things to their openings and I responded, posting the English opening of the unaired Youkai Watch as an example:
Spoiler:

Well...just a little while ago, Disney released a new trailer for Youkai Watch:
Spoiler:

It's not the opening, just a trailer, but it uses the Japanese Opening and Ending in the background, so...did they get the license? Did the creator hear the abysmal opening and tell them that they either had to cancel the show or use the original tracks? Hell, even the show's Japanese OST's there. 'Cause honestly, if they're using the original assets, this show just got a lot more attractive. The music in this show's catchy as hell, especially the opening and ending.

Main girl, though. Someone's not doing there job in the dubbing studio.

One of the few things I've thought in response to seeing Yokai Watch-related things is that that girl is pretty cute.

But they managed to kill that.

Is it weird that I got a little bummed out about this season of Teekyuu being over, despite the fact that the next season of Teekyuu starts in literally two weeks?

What is Teekyuu exactly, aside from the basis of a good pun?

What is Teekyuu exactly, aside from the basis of a good pun?
Here's a pretty accurate but still horribly underexaggerated description from Crunchyroll:
The series follows the hilarious everyday routines of four girls in the Kameido High tennis club who, on occasion, actually play some tennis.
And...yup, that's exactly what happens.
Yoooo. How long did that Teekyuu to come up with?
Also, which opening is the best one?
Oh God, that's a really hard question. All of Teekyu's openings are so different, which is weird because they all fit so well.

Uh...God, I don't know. They're all so Teekyu in their own spastic ways.

Yeh, Tournament Arc best arc.

And I'd probably agree with Bad Back-kun. Teekyu 5's opening seems really close to what Teekyu is and, if you showed just the opening to someone, they'd be super confused. Though the most baffling is still the original, but 5's OP matches the pacing of the show. 3's kinda a midway between the two with all of the straightman comments. But yeh, OP 5's great.

-The other reason I brought up Summer openings is because I just came around to accepting DRRR!'s current opening as the best. I mean, hot damn. Complication was the reason I started watching the show, but the current one's just catchier and super fun. Love it, this season's been really good for sequel openings.

3 never resonated with me, actually. After the wonderfully catchy 2 it felt tame and not as melodic in comparison, and half its visuals consisting of boobs and butts shaking all over the screen made it feel like they didn't even try to be tastefully subtle any more. Not a good one to show someone uninitiated, in my eyes.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I was more just saying that it fit because it resembles Teekyu, but I think it's better to say that it fits Kouhai straightman, since it's basically her season (and her opening, by extension). But looking at it again, it's not really as spastic as the others, so it really doesn't have much that's Teekyu. 4 and 5 are better examples of character openings that just feel Teekyu, though.

1 wasn't spastic either, but I think that one worked because it intentionally did so little to give you any sort of impression of the show and did pretty much whatever it wanted without any real rules. Plus the song was oddly casual, too. Only reason I keep bringing it up is because first impressions. Watched the first 3 1/2 seasons in about an hour so 1, 4, and 5 stick in my mind a lot better than 2 and 3.

Whelp, Danchigai's over, and if nothing else, I liked this episode. Despite how little time he gets, MC brother is one of the more fun Onii-sans I've seen in a while. This was definitely the most "A brother and his sisters" episode in the series, and though it oddly went in a different route than I was expecting, it pretty neatly tied the show up in a bow.

Ah, I'll miss you Danchigai. Just...please don't return for a season 2.
