Ultima: A Trainer's Quest

"Ouch. That had to happen." Amy said. She continued to read the book about the cures. She wondered if there was one for curing Pokemon scratches.

"[Is there a cure anywhere?]" Butterfree asked.

"[I don't know. But there's got to be one.]" Eevee declared.

"[I wonder who that Bulbasaur is.]" Pikachu said in wonder.
 
Mike just woke up and saw that two of the group members were hurt like. "Looks like you guys had a rough night?"

[Looks like they did.] siad Char.

"I hope you guys are fine." said Mike.

[strange night]

"Very strange" said Mike.
 
"Thanks for careing Amy. I sure wish that mean old Bulbasaur wouldnt of hert my like that.. He could really injure someone or even kill a person... Makes me sad...
 
"He couldn't. Pokemon can hurt people, but no matter how hard they do it, the enemy won't get killed. If a Pokemon defeats another Pokemon, it means that the opponent is just tired, that's all." Amy said.

"[Nothing bad could happen, could it?]" Jigglypuff asked.

"[Like I would know.]" Eevee said.

"[Guys. Get it over with.]" Pikachu said.
 
"He doesn't have a pokemon let thought Mike. Strange.

Mike heard what AMy said and then joke to Char "If I remember right, Pikachu did hate us. I though it was going to kill me if I use it in battle."

Char scolded at him and said, [That mean.]

"It did hated us." siad Mike.

[But never kill you. It just hated you for catching it.] she said.

"True." said Mike. "Got to agree there. I just we were a bit hard on it when I caught it."
 
OOC: FireTorchic, shouldn't you've gotten your starter by now?

"I guess Pikachu wanted someone who at least wouldn't catch him." Amy said. "I assume that's his nature."

"[Tell me about it. Amy was pretty caring with Eevee and Butterfree. I wanted to join her team and get to battle. Now I've defeated four strong Water Pokemon to win.]" Pikachu declared.

"[Nice speech.]" Butterfree said, sarcastically.
 
"Well, really, I have just started my journey in the Pokemon world. My parents wanted me to catch a Pokemon here in Kanto even though I beged and pleaded to catch one back in Hoenn. I feel kinda bad that I dont have one yet y'know."
 
Mike heard what Pikachu said and Mike said back, "I try being nice to you but you just seemed angry with me and Char."

[Clam down Mike. Let not pick a fight with Pika now.] said Char.

"You right. Let not. Anyways I only traded him for he can be happy. Anyways. It time to eat." he said.

[Righto there. Lets eat.] said Char as she follow Mike to get something to eat.

"Well that explain a few things. If you want to go catching then maybe one of us should go with you to help." said Mike before he order his food..
 
"I'm out... still have a fever nurses orders" I said matterly-o-factily
"amy would be delighted I'm sure" I said chuckling

(flashback)
"mabey miltank tipping wasnt such a good idea!"
"I blame A.J"
"yeah I know"
(about 1200 miltanks after us....:dead:
firetorchick: ohh that will hurt
Me: hey you arn't in this flashback! and neither were these sumbreros!

(end of flashback)

"wow" Is all I could say
 
"In that case, Cody, I might as well give you this." Amy said as she handed Cody a PokeBall. "I always wondered what was in it, and I probably knew now." Inside the PokeBall was a Torchic, a Pokemon from the Hoenn region.

"[I suppose he's happy now.]" Jigglypuff declared.

"[I can't say why.]" Pikachu responded.

"Oh my gosh! A Torchic! Thank you so much amy! Thats one of the nicest things anyone has done for me." *Lets Torchic out of its PokeBall*

[Tttoorrcchhhiccc!!]~Torchic screeched as it came out of it Pokeball.
*Torchic wonders around examining is surounding for a breif moment and then comes up to me*

Me: "Hiya Torchic! I'm your new trainer, Cody. I'll take great care of you and treat you with lots of respect."

[Torchic, tor]~Torchic said smileing.

Me: "I think me and you are gonna become good friends real soon!"
*Picks Torchic up and and puts him in his arms*

Me: "So anybody up for something to eat? I'll buy."
 
Mike yelled from a table in the pokemon center to Cody. "THere some good grub here." HE then bit in to a pancake.

[Good stuff] said Char

[YOu think everything is good] said Kadabra.

[True.] said Char. THe other pokemon agreed with her.

"First round is on me" said Mike as he remember his winnings from the day before battles.
 
"It couldn't be better, could it?" Amy asked.

"[I'm sure it'll be perfect.]" Butterfree said.

"[Definitely.]" Pikachu replied.

"[I think it isn't so bad.]" Eevee said.

"[Me too.]" Jigglypuff answered.
 
Pidgetto took a bite of some sunflower seeds and said, [It has great stuff]. She then bit some of Nido's food.

Nido then got mad and was about to attack the bird pokemon. Beedrill then got in between and said, [Clam down. It ok]

"Yes. Please let just eat." siad Mike

[You right. Let just eat.] said Nido as he bit into his pancake.

CHar smiled and then the same. [Still it good.] Kadabra then levitated the honey too Beedrill.

[Know you like it.] said Kadabra.

Beedrill nodded to say thanks.

[I suggest the pancakes] said Char proudy.

"See they got lots of good stuff." said Mike
 
Looking out the window, Amy considered wondering what would happen to whoever would battle Lt. Surge for the Crest of Honor. Rey had defeated Brock, she had defeated Misty, and she considered it to be the most possible guess.

"Maybe we should give Mike a chance. You know, he's been watching over me so much. I just, think we should give him some space." Amy said, a little worried.

"[You're right, Amy. I suppose there was a reason he'd catch me in the first place.]" Pikachu declared.

"[This calls for a meeting!]" Butterfree announced.
 
After breakfest, Mike and his pokemon then rest.

[WHat the plan for today?] asked Char

[Battle on the pier?] asked Beedrill egar to battle.

[Or trying to evole?] asked Nido

Mike had no idea what to do today. It all depends what Maya had to say. Today somebody is suppost to battle Lt. Surge but who?

Mike the responed, "I have no idea. It all depends if we are choosen to battle."

[What you mean?] asked Char.

"I mean if we are told to battle Lt. Surge then we battle. If not then. We got a free day. Not sure." Mike said nervously.
 
"Okay, guys, you know the routine..." Maya began as she clipped some straws, leaving one at its full size. "Whoever gets the long straw faces Surge."

With that, the straws began to circle around the room.
 
Rey was sitting down for the straws. Maybe he'd get the long straw? He went for a straw. He held it nervously. If he got it, he'd be facing Surge.
Rey: Let's see what I got.
He took a look at the straw.
