Ultima: A Trainer's Quest

Suddenly, Ash's communicator watch began beeping, interrupting the procession's march to Pallet.

"Ruby to Master, do you read me?" a familiar voice called. Ash smiled--he knew the voice as his top envoy, Maya.

"Master to Ruby, I read you..." he replied as the image of a brown haired girl appeared on the screen, apparently riding a Pidgeot. "We are en route to Pallet Town, so if you could alter your course to meet us there..."

"Will do, Sir Ash." Maya smiled. She whispered "Come on, Mina!" to the Pidgeot, and the screen turned black.

"Foward, march!" With that, the procession continued on its way...
 
"I know, I learned everything I could about the starters, so I ended up pickig totodile." I said "And sure you can take a look, but its not my fault if he bites your hand off. I only just met him too."
"Toto." Totodile said clenching his little fists.
"I'm thinking he's not very friendly." I said, sweatdropping at the defensive expression on totodile's face.
 
Name: Leon Lockhart
Age: 11
Hometown: Celadon City (what can I say it's my favorite town in the Region.)
Physical description :Leon is about, 5.4 he has a normal build, he has short blond hair, dark blue eyes, then glasses, a black short sleeve T-shirt, dark blue jeans, and red and black shoes.
Personality: Leon is a laid back, Intelligent, calm young man, he kind of quite around new people, he looks to be cold but he's really kind of shy, but if he gets to know someone he can be very open. But in battle he changes a bit, He goes hard core until the opponent has given up or the pokemon is KOed.
Starting Pokemon: Bulbasaur

Mike smiled and said, "Don't worry. I can take care of mine self." Mike takes a look at totodile again but said, "Or I do something else."

Mike grab his camara from one of his coat pockets and took a digital picture of the totodile. "It a good one too." As the image appeared on the screen. "Looks healhty too."
 
"wow a Totodile cool. He was my second if i didn't get a Squirtle. It doesn't look friendly but that will change as long as you give it a poke treat." he says rummaging through his bag giving it to mike. "know it should open up a bit.
 
OOC: Aww Shoot. I a little behind but here I come. :P

IC: The door to Professor Oak's lab opened and then closed. I entered the building being amazed with the many different people who were recieving their pokemon. I walked around the lab looking for the professor. I spotted him in a room filled with many different pokeballs. Pokeballs, Nest balls, Net balls, and many more others were stacked in shelves. I approached the professor and introduced myself. "H-hello there, Professor." I said and bowed. "Is an honor to meet you sir. You called me earlier about something?" He nodded and gave me a special yellow colored pokeball with a small lighting bolt sticker. I accepted it and gave him my thanks. I unleashed the pokemon inside to find a cute, yellow electric mouse. The pikachu looked up at me and I looked at it. "Hey there little guy." I said to it. The professor laughed and explained that it was a female. I ,with a unexpected look, looked at it and smiled. "Sorry bout that. Didn't know you were a girl." I said with a embarrassed look. I grabbed it and hugged it. ZAPPP!!!!!!!!! She gave me a sharp jolt. She glared at me with a angry but cute look. I twirled around a bit and smiled. "You sure are cute when your mad. Hopefully the guys don't fight over you." I said to her.

OOC: GOOD GOD. I wrote alot huh. :P
 
"Lets try it then." siad Mike grabing the treat. Putting his camara around his neck he tried to feed t he totodile.

Mike got closer and said, "Hey little guy. Hungry. How about i give you a treat so I can get a closer and beter look at you." Mike was hoping to see if it was in good condition and led over to feed the totodile
 
Night was beginning to fall as the trainers assembled on the square. The whole town was abuzz with news of Ash's impending arrival.

Finally, at 8:00, cheers went up from the crowd as the sound of bagpipes playing the Pokemon Master's Anthem drifted over the hill. Even those that were not at the square stopped what they were doing to watch the procession pass by.

"Make way! Make way for the Pokemon Master!" some policeman called as they escorted the procession down to the square....
 
OOC: I think I'm a little off plot...

IC: However, it was just a hologram of Ash, and he disappeared. But Amethyst found a Poke Ball at her feet, and she picked it up. There was a note attached to it, and she read it:

Amethyst,
Hear in this Poke Ball, you will find your starter pokemon, Eevee. I'm sorry that I couldn't give it to you in person because the Master Ash is coming, and a lot of trainers are asking me for their pokemon. Good luck in the Ultima Quest, and say hi to the Master for me!
Prof. Oak​

"What!? He's coming already?" Amy asked in shock. She started to run forward, with the Poke Ball in hand, and ran into a group of trainers on the sidewalk. In fact, all trainers in Pallet were at the side, watching the parade of Ash march through. Amy was surprised that she wasn't late.
 
Leon walks up the stair to the lab. "hmmm so this is professor oaks lab, I heard Ash will be here, I wonder if Gary Oak will be here too, I like his battling style better, he my role-model." Leon said looking at the Bulbasaur pokeball. "This on must be mine, go!" He said as a Bulbasaur with a leaf pattern (ever Bulbasaur has its own pattern May's is two hearts) "Great well I guess I should join the group.... Hi everyone, Leon Lockheart, nice to meet you." Leon said hiding his nervousness.
 
After the noise had subsided a little, Ash climbed off his mount and began to approach the group of trainers...
 
Rey exited the lab upon hearing the noises. He joined the group of people to see what was going on. He caught a glimpse of Ash in the corner of his eye.

Rey: Huh? Is that Ash?
 
"Toto..." Totodile said eyeing Mike's hand with the pokemon treat in it suspiciously "DILE!" I finished as it bit the pokemon treat, hand and all with a great 'chomp'.
"Totodile!!" I said reproachfully "That's not a-"
I stopped as i glanced up and saw a large mob outside that certainly wasn't there before, and a messy haired person coming toward me and the other trainers.
OOC:That's what's happening right?
 
"Rise, trainers..." Ash commanded as he walked towards the group of trainers. Those trainers that had knelt or were seated slowly stood up. "Let me tell you a little story...long ago, the Pokemon League wasn't the organized and peaceful organization that it is now--corruption, bribery and even murder were rampant, and the people greatly distrusted the Pokemon Master and his staff.

The people weren't the only ones displeased...the Legendary Pokemon, the guardians of the Master, were grieved that someone so blackhearted had been chosen as Pokemon Master. They set out across the land, looking for virtuous trainers--those that carried mystical objects known as the Crests of Power. In those days, Gym Leaders gave those to a virtuous trainer rather than badges, and the Crest was to remind the trainer of that trait--whether it be Honor, Luck, or Purity.

After many months of travel, the Legendaries had found the holders of 24 Crests of Power, and told them to assemble at Evergrande City. When all 24 were present, the power of the Crests fused into a magical coin--what you know as the Ultima Coin.

Mew, leader of the Legendaries, told the 24 Gym Leaders that their descendants would carry the Crests...and if the coin were to shatter, a group of trainers was to travel across the land, win the Crests back, and fuse a new coin.

Now...that time that Mew foretold has come..." Ash continued, tearing a picture of the Ultima Coin to illustrate his point. "...but by sheer coincidence, the Coin's shattering occured around the same time that new trainers begin their journeys...so that's why I have chosen you, a group of new trainers, for this task.

"But you will not be alone in this..." At this, Ash climbed aboard Epona again and motioned to a brown haired girl nearby him. "Maya, my top envoy, will guide you through the world...she has immense knowledge and superb battling skill, so don't be afraid to ask for her aid. I will also try and help you in any way I can."

"Do you understand your quest?" Maya asked...
 
I nodded slowly and glanced at the totodile in my arms.
It's eyes were huge with awe, and for some reason it couldn't take it's eyes off whatever it was staring at.
"Totodile?" I asked waving a hand in front of it's unblinking face.
looking up totodile looked at me quiestioningly "To?"
"Nothing, just making sure the speech didn't bore you to death!" I laughed.
"Toto diiile!" Totodile said kicking his feet.
"Sorry. Not a laughing matter." I said sheepishly.
OOC:So, do we choose our crests?
 
Rey: Cool! I understand. This is so cool!
 
OOC: Whoever duels the Gym Leader gets their Crest, okay?
 
(Sure. Do we wait till people post?)
 
OOC: Pretty much....once everyone's posted their reactions, we'll go.
