-Just started a new game. (On my emulator)

Ok, so I started of by taking a Cyndaquil and began the game. After doing all the beginning stuff, took on Falkner.

That was pretty easy. Cyndaquil had just evolved in the Sprout Tower. Anyway, continued with Quilava and Bugsy suffered a similar fate.

Upon arriving in Goldenrod, I added the next member to my team.

After training Growlithe for a bit, it was time to take on Whitney.

We actually got destroyed the first time as Growlithe had a tough time with her Clefairy, but it was smooth sailing the second time around.
I'm now going to make my way to Ecruteak where I plan on catching a Magmar to be the third addition to my team.

Update #3 on Platinum:

• Beat Crasher Wake, then met Cynthia.
• Went to Celestic Town and beat Cyrus, then got Surf.
• Surfed to the Fuego Ironworks and caught Screws the Magnemite.
• Taught Screws Thunderbolt, then trained a bit on the water routes.
• Headed to Canalave City and Beat Lad, then trained a bunch in Iron Island.
• Beat Bryon easily (3 Surf OHKOs).
• Beat Saturn and Mars, then headed through Mt. Coronet.
• Currently saved on Route 216.

Once I finish johto for mormal I will be starting a Dark run on Johto and also I will begin a rock type on Kanto, of course while moving onto Hoenn for Normal.

Final Update (#3) on Silver:

• Sped through Kanto gyms. Pokey evolved into Slowbro after learning Psychic.
• Also taught YingYang Psychic and he learned Crunch.
• Reached Red, team was L60-61.
• Beat him with some Quick Claw luck at the end to win!

OMG I did not realize how hard the Pokemon League would be. But after hours of trying, I finally have an update.

Ultimate Fire; SoulSilver Update

-Did some training on the path below Blackthorn in preparation for the gym.
-Entered the gym, defeated all the trainers within. However, I lost to the leader on my first try.
-Trained a bit more.
-Took on Clair again and won this time.
-Did that annoying thing she makes you do to earn your badge because she's a big baby who can't accept defeat and collected my badge.
-Returned to Newbark Town.
-Returned to Ecruteak.
-Went to Whirl Islands, caught Lugia, boxed it, continued onto the Pokemon League.
-Trained on the way to the league, arrived at Victory Road.
-Battled my rival and took an easy win.
-Arrived at the Pokemon League.
-Challenged the Elite Four, lost.
-Challenged the Elite Four, lost.
-sit down, this goes on for a bit.
-Challenged the Elite Four, lost.
-Challenged the Elite Four, lost.
-Challenged the Elite Four, lost.
-Decided Level 53 wasn't a high enough level to defeat Lance because of his stupid Aerodactyl and stupid Gyarados, so backtracked and trained a bit.
-Trained to Lvl 60.

-Realized this really was a challenge with just a Typhlosion and a stupid ol' Vulpix, but I wasn't about to give up.
-Challenged the Elite Four, lost.
-Remembered that I had berries that would dull the effects of Water super effectiveness and Rock super effectiveness.
-Equipped, challenged Lance again... LOST.
-Backtracked once more to train again.
-Trained Typhlosion to Lvl 64, taught her Hyper Beam, entered the Elite Four once more.
-Challenged Will again. Took him out using mostly my Typhlosion, but trusted my Vulpix to take on his Slowbrow. With Lvl 60+ Pokemon, it was an easy win.
-Challenged Koga again. Took him out using only Typhlosion. Once again, easy win.
-Challenged Bruno again. Used nothing but Typhlosion. Very easy win.
-Challenged Karen again. No problems here, just Typhlosion, easy win.
-Challenged Lance again. This time no problems at all. Hyper Beam took out his Gyarados and Dragonites. Vulpix's Iron Tail took out his Aerodactyl and I used Dark Pulse repeatedly on Charizard until he fainted. The berries were a life saver... and I am now the champion.
-Preparing to head to Kanto.

Gotten a lot more done, but nothing else'll happen for a couple of days--got some issues as in I lost my laptop (AHHHH!!) and am currently posting this from my mom's computer. It's for her work, and she thinks I'm researching for an essay. Yeah, right.

-Went to Vermilion City and onto the SS Anne. Beat every trainer on board and got Cut.
-Charmander out of the PC and onto Cut. Now my slave.
-Killed all of Surge's trainers and him. Got Shock Wave and taught it to Melody.
-Got a Spearow and traded it for Ch'Ding the Farfetch'd.
-Leveled up Ch'Ding.
-Got the Bike voucher and went to Cerulean. Got me a bike and went on to Route 5.
-Rock Tunnel. Easy work, and great leveling opportunity.
-Celadon was easy and great. Got a Moon Stone from the Rocket Hideout and evolved Melody.
-Beat the Gym and got Giga Drain (like I'm gonna use it)
-And...yeah.

My sweet, sweet Jumpluff is incredibly weak. ;A; This wasn't a problem until recently. Before, Chamomile was great at defeating teams using a stall method. I'd have her use Sleep Powder, then Leech Seed, then Flash as many times as possible. Now, she can still take a hit but she doesn't last long after that. :/ However, so far all of the boss battles have not been very difficult. I'm waiting for Gina to call and offer me a Leaf Stone so that I can evolve an Oddish I have in the daycare into Vileplume. Mint continues to be awesome, and Rosehip has exceeded my expectations. I thought Rosehip was going to be the weakest link but she's actually quite tough. My only complaints are her lack of moves. Her movepool is very bland in Gen II. I could have taught Rosehip Sludge Bomb when she was a Gloom, but I didn't get that TM until after I had evolved her. u__u I plan to teach her Giga Drain after beating Erika.

I will definitely have some screenshots next time. I can take them (hooray!), but I didn't like the way the ones I have now turned out. :u​

Just finished up the fire challenge. I really hate doing Kanto on Gold so I rushed through it pretty quickly. First, I trained Growlithe so that it was at around the same level as the rest of my pokemon and then went through the process of getting the firet stone to evolve it into an Arcanine. I thought I would be destroyed by Red as I had a very tough time with Blue and I lost the first time. However, I realized that the only real problem was his Blastoise so I came up with a strategy to take it down and the rest were easy.

It really just turned into Typhlosion basically soloing the entire battle with a little help from the others, but all's well that ends well.

Final Update (#4) on Platinum.

• Got to Snowpoint City and defeated Candice easily with Flash Cannon.
• Picked up Ice Beam for Empress, then headed to Veilstone City.
• Beat the TG Warehouse and Headquarters.
• Screws evolved into Magnezone on my way up to Spear Pillar.
• Beat Cyrus in the Distortion World. TG is now defunct.
• Went east from Pastoria to Sunyshore and beat Volkner.
• Got Waterfall, and used it to get a Stone Plate.
• Surfed to Victory Road and navigated through.
• Beat Lad for the final time, then used my Rare Candies to get Screws and Mario to L58 and Empress and Big Ben to L59.
• Took on the Elite Four. Flint was a pain but I eventually was able to get the Trick Room sweep.
• Beat Cynthia as well, with much difficulty. I am the Champion!

Chapter 17 - Victory Road and the Elite Four!

You might be wondering why my team is higher leveled, and I have the final Johto badge. Well...I went ahead and destroyed Team Rocket, beat Clair, and caught a Seaking as a Waterfall slave. I'm in Kanto now, on Victory Road. No trainers, just a friendly road. But...there's Silver. After his last ownage, I grind some more in Victory Road, heal, and buy tons of Revives and Hyper Potions. Now...Will was a pain by spamming Psychic, but Tuff Puff and MooMoo took him out. Koga wasn't hard. Bruno was the toughest, but I prevailed. Karen...eh...ok. MooMoo learned Body Slam in replacement for Stomp, and now...let's go battle Lance.
