As far as how much you need to grind, L60 should be more than enough for this team, so try to find some trainers that upgrade their teams for rebattlng with the VS Seeker. you should also have some Rare Candies unless you used them already, so make sure to use those up.

Also, if you're using a cartridge, you can get shards in the Underground. If you aren't, well...

Good luck, and Cynthia isn't invincible, no matter how much it seems like it. Just be thankful that Tokegiss doesn't have Serene Grace!

Bug UMC

It's been a while since i've updated while the bug catching contest has helped me a lot i caught a Weedle (Walter 2nd), a Pinsir (Pandora) and a Scyther (Sarah). After grinding i beat Whitney before beating Sudowoodo. I got to Ecruteak city and beat my rival in the burnt tower and i am now grinding again before facing Morty, hopefully my updates will start to be more regular.

Requirements

• A copy of Red, Blue, or Yellow. FireRed and LeafGreen will be accepted here, but for the ultimate experience, I suggest you go with the originals.

It's your choice, you take the challenge for fun mostly :P
Btw I think If you choose to go with FR/LG you need to beat the league 2times after the quests in sevii islands, not sure tho(cause in the rules it says that,check below) :)


-The challenge for each game is completed once the Elite Four is beaten for the first time(except in the second generation where it ends when you defeat Red, and in the fifth generation where it ends when you defeat the Elite Four for the second time). At said point, you can then begin with the following game.

Final Update for Steel UMC!

Final Update (#6) on Black.

• Time for the postgame!
• First thing I did was catch a Dratini and evolve him into Dragonite for HM slave purposes.
• Went to the Giant Chasm and caught Titan the Metang.
• Trained my team up for the second E4 challenge.
• Red Queen and Titan evolved into Bisharp and Metagross!
• Faced off against Morimoto and Cynthia and beat them both. Cynthia took a couple tries, Eelektross kept roasting me with Flamethrower.
• After getting everyone to L74, I challenged the E4 again.
• Marshall took a team effort, although Titan was dominant.
• Titan then soloed Caitlin thanks to an Attack boost from Meteor Mash.
• Red Queen did well against Shauntal, but Gear needed to finish off Jellicent and Froslass.
• Against Grimsley, Lancer beat Sharpedo, then Megamole beat the rest.
• And it was down to the Champion, Alder. Here's the video and play-by-play of the battle.

▸ Didn't really feel like going in depth with this. I caught Caterpie and Weedle first, then went through the first part of the game with them. They didn't get nicknames because I forgot to nickname Caterpie when I first caught it, so I decided to just disregard the matter. As expected, they evolved into Metapod and Kakuna, then into Butterfree and Beedrill respectively. When I reached the Game Corner, I got myself a Pinsir. Rolled through the rest of the game, and defeated the Elite Four and Gary (the name I gave my rival).

Progressed through game caught an abra in Cerulean City, later on caught a drowzee in Route 11

Update for Ultimate Monotype Challenge (Ghost).

Hey guys, I'm continuing another UMC on Unova, this time with Ghost types, on White.

Update #1 on White.

Name: Soul
Starter: Golett (in place of Tepig, to keep the weakness to water)

• Hacked BFG the Golett as my starter, as there are no ghosts until after the third gym.
• Cress took a few tries, as both Lillipup and Panpour have super effective moves, but I eventually pulled it out with Rollout.
• After making my way to Nancrene City and training outside Pinwheel Forest, I beat N.
• Lenora was very hard to beat, but I put up Iron Defense and used an X Speed, and Rollout eventually prevailed.
• Beat up Team Plasma and crossed the bridge to Castelia City.
• After saving Bianca's Munna, I took on Burgh. BFG barely survived Leavanny's Razor Leaf to win with Rollout again.
• Saved in Castelia City.
