I have decided that grinding Kricketune until it learns Night Slash looks like an easier task than somehow beating Brock with a disobeying Dratini, so I'm continuing with Bug first. Kricketune is currently at level 39, just 3 more levels to go.

I have been doing red with just Pidgeot and two there who never do eny fighting i think they are the pc could do that? or should i start a new game and go form there ether way i would love to do red with flying.

The AI really sucks. My rival sent out Alakazam and didn't use Psychic, but Foresight until I beat him.:\

Started Pokemon Gold.
Did all the stuff for the intro, Made my name GOLD and chose Cyndaquil as my starter.
Made my way to Cherrygrove and got a Map Card.
Made my way to Mr. Pokemon's House, got the Pokedex and the Mystery Egg.
Went back to New Bark Town defeating my Rival on the way.
Named Rival SILVER.
Went to Violet City, Defeated Falkner with Cyndaquil.
Obtained the EGG, then depositied it.
Made my way to Union Cave.
Caught a Poliwag and levelled it up a bit.
Went through Union Cave.
Arrived at Azalea.
Defeated Team Rocket and Bugsy.
Defeated my Rival again.
Went into Ilex Forest and got Cut, taught it to Quilava.
Went through Ilex Forest, got Headbutt, taught it to Poliwag.
After hours and hours trying to get a Heracross in the route next to Azalea I gave up.
Went to Goldenrod and caught a Drowzee.
Traded Drowzee for Machop in Dept. Store.
Trained Machop up a bit.
Defeated Whitney.

^Well then I don't think you'll be allowed to use Poliwag/Whirl in any of the gyms.
 
Nobody complained about me using Charmander/Charmeleon for a few gyms, Charmageddon.

Next update will come soon, I recently bought Viva Pinata and it's been sucking up all my time, but back to playing Green now!
 
Alakazam's been around, but I can't speak for why you've not been added to the lists yet. Which challenge are you doing, again?
 
I don't know what I've done bad recently, but I'm apparently punishing myself for it. I've just started out with my Dragon-Type challenge.

Current team is a level 13 disobeying Dratini and a level 11 disobeying Mew. My initial reactions are that it sucks a lot to have to return to the pokecenter after every trainer battle and every other wild encounter. Brock has urprisingly easy, however, as the little guy I traded in from Gold came at level 10, and obeyed me fine for the Geodude. Wrap stasis FTW. However, he leveled up after that fight, and it was a team effort to bring down the Onix. As of now, I really have no idea how I intend on beating Misty. Or, for that matter, Jesse and James.

I just started a Fire challenge on Green.
 
Progress:

After defeating Whitney I decided to travel around a bit and after headbutting on afew trees I caught a Heracross!
Trained Heracross up a bit and did Sprout Tower with him (Yeah I know the events are a bit out of order).
Made my way to Ecruteak City.
Defeated the Kimono Girls, Obtained Surf, taught Surf to Poliwag.
Did the 3 dogs event and went to the gym.
Poliwag evolved into Poliwhirl during trainer battles.
Defeated Morty.
Went to Olivine City.
Went to the Lighthouse and discovered that an Ampharos was sick.
Got Strength HM from a guy, taught it to Heracross.
While battling trainers on the way to Cianwood, Machop evolved into Machoke!
Got the SecretPotion in Cianwood, then challenged the gym.
Defeated Chuck, then got the Fly HM
Surfed back to Olivine, healed the Ampharos.
Went to the gym and defeated Jasmine.
Saved.

That's because it was only for a few gyms, not and entire region plus the Elite Four. Still, I'm not 100% on the rules so 'Zam will have to make the final judgment.
 
Huh, well, that is a point valid point...

UPDATE:

You'd think that my Gyarados, Skye, would have been the VIP in Cinnabar, but NOOOOOOOOO, I barely pulled him out for the mooks. Deathscale the Butterfree and Chitose the Golbat (I made sure not to type Crobat this time) did most of the fighting in his gym. Skye only came out for evolved enemies.

I then easily wiped the floor with Blue (Swords Dance x 3 + Slash = Swept Jolteon). I'll have to remember to have that Alakazam fight Blaster for the setup, though.

Now to sweep a certain psychic gym...
