alright, i beat shiny gold so far with breloom

    Breloom
    Spore
    Sky Uppercut
    leech seed
    giga drain

I picked totodile out of my three starters for his wide ability to use hm's. After you start shiny gold you have to beat carlos who has a slowpoke, he wasnt much of a challenge because i used shroomish (I breeded a shroomish prior to this who had already learned spore and absorb). I went to mr pokemon and back and fought chikorita who was level eight with my level eleven and got him down. after i returned to the lab i set out to falkner. First was the sprout tower where after some hard effort i beat the leader and got flash. I progessed to the first gym where i met carlos with an eevee and a slowpoke, i had at least five levels on him and leech seed so he wasnt much of a challenge. I then took down falkner who as a tailow and a pidgeotto. this took me far more tries but i found it possible to take him down by using spore and leechseeed. I then headed for azalea town. in azalea town i saved the slowpoke with much ease and moved on. the gym leader bugsy was defeated much similarly to how i defeated falkner because of his skill in using bug types which are good against grass this battle brought me proudly to evolution. next came ilex forest where i caught the farfetched and recieved cut. i caught a pidgey, i then taught my totodile cut. in goldenrod i faced whitney who was not trouble at all. after she calmed down i got the squirt bottle and used it on sudowoodo. i went to the right and talked to the man standing there and recieved rock smash. traveling north to eurecteak i fought the kimono girls who were easy as 3.14 and taught surf to totodile. i then battled the gym leader. Morty was a toughie but with some tactical leechseeds and spore i got him and his gengar down. i exited the building to be confronted by carlos again. i was not prepared to fight him. he got me down to very low health with his machoke but to my avail he brought out slowking next who i used giga drain on to heal to full health. He brought out his newly gained espeon who fell to my spore'ish tactics. i traveled west and then south to meet jasmine in the lighthouse who informed me of my need to get the secret potion. by this time i had caught an absol who knew strength and used him to open the way in chuck's gym. Check was no challenge because i was part fighting. i taught my pidgey fly and with the secret potion headed straight on home. With the secret potion jasmine was ready to battle. jasmine was defeated with three sky uppercuts. i flew to eurceteak and went east to head for the lake of rage. i slayed the red gyarados and used him to replace my absol, teaching him flash and strength. lance then informed me of the trouble in town. i defeated team rocket underground. then flew to golden rod to take them down once again, my level 52 breloom took them down with ease. i flew over to mahagony and used sky uppercut to take down Morty's ice pokemon before they could hit me with an ice attack. i skipped into the ice path and got waterfall whcih i taught to totodile. i faught Clair in blackthorn but before i could attain the badge i had to get the dragon fang. after doing that with ease i flew down to new bark where i got a masterball. i went to the tower in eurcketeak and masterballed me a ho oh who i put in my pc. with my breloom i traveled happily into kanto. using waterfall to get throught the cave i slowly made my way to victory road. victory road was an amazing addition to shiny gold because of its creative design. i then proceeded to the elite four.

Will: will was a challenge because he had two xatu. after some serious sporing techniques and a hyperpotion or two he was down.

Koga i sky uppercuted kogas fortress one shoting it. his other four i faced much challenge with. i managed to catch a lucky break when his crobat missed his flying attack and took him down with spore and leech seed. i used an elixer and went on my way

Bruno bruno was relatively easy except for his pokemons pure strength. I finished him with full health though.

Karen: i took out karens murkrow houndour and umbreon with sky uppercut and then used a combination of spore and leech seed for the rest. i used another elixir and prepared for lance.

Lance: lance was a big big challenge. I spored his garyados and used giga drain to slowly kill him. He sent out a dragonite which i was not freindly with. i had major trouble with him salamence and his charizard. i managed to pull throught to his kingdra who i used to heal me and prepare for my last fight.

Carlos: Carlos was ready to kick serious tail when i fought him this time and too my disatisfaction i ran out of spore. his espeon and i were neck to neck. he had full health and i was at health one psychic and i was done. i hit him in the face with a giga draing and critically hit him. Victory was mine.

lance said things were noisy and we proceeded to the secret chamber.

    Ultimate Solo Challenge

With that i succeeded in taking down shiny gold. :) i plan on taking down diamond next with him, after that im going for fire red or leaf green and im gonna beat emerald. ill post the next report when i beat diamond thanks hope thats the info you needed :)

Interesting choice of pokemon! Can't wait to hear how you fair!

Also, my Growlithe evolves with a stone as well, though I'm specifically waiting till a certain level so I can obtain a certain move.

  • More progress. Lt. Surge was lol so easy with HP Ground. finally that move came useful lol except for rival's Magneton. Went north to Saffron and went into the Saffron Gym. Rollout > Sabrina. Got the Focus Band from Fighting Dojo. Then, I went to Cerulean. Went to Power Plant. Defeated that Rocket Grunt and got the machine part. Gave it to man in Power Plant for Zap Cannon. Got EXPN Card, woke Snorlax up and defeated it with Rollout. Travelled to Pewter City, Surfed away the gym there. Three badges got till now, 5 more to go. I then got to Vermillion and from there got to Cerulean. Went to Cerulean Cape, met Misty. Went to her gym, Rollouted the gym :D. I went all the way to Fuschia then, defeating Janine with Rollout. God those Janine-clones were annoying.
With five badges, I went to Erika's gym in Celadon. Rollout ftw, again.... Erika couldnt even touch Kabutops. Flew to Pewter, went south to Viridian, went south again to Pallet Town. I remember I lived here once :D. Surfed south to Cinnabar, met Blue, surfed east to find Blaine. For a change, I didn't use Rollout, I used Surf instead :D.
Flew to Viridian, piece of cake Blue was (his parents are bad lol who names their child Blue?). Two Returns took care of Pidgeot (i didnt use Rollout because of Rhydon) while it only managed to hurt me with Wing Attack. Surfed the Rhydon. Alakazam was OHKOed by Rollout, so were Gyarados, Exeggutor and Arcanine.

Only Red is left now :D

    Named Shellder Pacific,
The intial training was really really really hard as he had real low attack.
Ice is strong against rock! WHAT! I was so happy finding that out.

  • Meh, it could be worse. You could be between Saffron and Vermilion fighting the Butterfree trainer.

The Slowpoke trainer above Cerulean gave me problems in my Nuzlocke Challenge. In this challenge, so far the only trainer who's defeated me is Misty, for obvious reasons.

  • Name: Kendrix

    Log:

Well due to the fact that everyone wanted a piece of me and the problems all around I had to fix, I haven't been able to update this log for quite a while. Once the SS Tidal (the ship that I took to get to Kanto) departed, there was an announcement on board that the champion of Joto was onboard. While this meant more praise for them, it meant that every time I ventured out of my room, I was challenged to a battle, which I had to accept Region Champions can't deny any challengers the rite to face him). Eventually I managed to weasel my way out of a few battles, because someone came to me asking me to look for a lost girl. Long story short I found her in the captain's room, and after Almia played Hide and Seek with her (she hid, no prize for guessing who won). She was returned to her father, and the cruise was over.

One I stepped out I was hounded by adoring fans (apparently my fan base has decrease on bit since I left Kanto three years ago). Eventually the crowds started to dissipate after the police was called to help regulate things. I was then escorted to the station in order to speak with Prof. Oak in private. Apparently he wanted me to test the strength of this region's gym leaders at their best, just to make sure they weren't slacking off just because they were forced to use weaker teams than necessary.

My first rematch was against Lt Surge, since I was already in town. He would have probably have lasted longer if I wasn't so upset that he actually had me searching in garbage again just to get to him. Almia's Shadow Ball and Psybeam attacks ripped through pokemon, earning me his thunder badge again.

My next stop was Celedon City, as the path to Pallet Town, via Diglett Cave was blocked off by a Snorlax. Taught Almia how to use Psychic again, as it was one of her key attacks 3 years ago and I knew it would come in handy. Also I meet the girl who taught Almia how to mimic moves and she gave me a Bullet Train pass.

Erika, the grass gym leader was my next opponent. I decided to try something knew and gave her a pair of choice specs (that my mom bought a long time a go). Need less to say that it boosted her power so dramatically that part of the battle field was left in ruins when Almia was done with the battle.

Since I really don't have the time to type out all my exploits I decided to put them in bullet points:

    - Got to Cerulean to challenge misty, and found out a Team Rocket Grunt was in there

    - Beat said Grunt and he spilled the beans (he stole a part of a generator and hid it in the gym)

    - Found part, having a ghost type pokemon who can float and phase through anything sure helped.

    - Gave part back to power plant manager (same power plant that I faced Zapdos all those years ago)

    - Got Tm Shock wave (one of Almia's old moves) for my reward and the Radio Card for the Kanto Region.

    - Went back to Vermilion City, Woke up and captured the Snorlax (he always came back after a while so just decided to stop him once and for all).

    - Got to Pewter City, gave Almia a pair of Wise Glasses and Challenged Brock to a fight.

    - Beat Brock easily, got challenged by Roark (my rival) and beat him easily too.

    - Beat Misty, Janine (Koga's daughter) and Sabrina all with out breaking a sweat.

Sabrina mentioned something about going to the Hoenn region in the near future right after I beat her. I didn't really pay it any mind until this guy named Steven mentioned it, while explaining about why he was here. The more I think about it, the more I think that maybe that should be my next step.

Taking a break from thrashing gyms, I decide to see how my rival was doing (he mentioned something about the Dragon's Den when I fight him earlier). As soon as I arrived (I took the Magnet Train from Saffron and then flew the rest of the way) I saw him talking to Clair and Lance. Before too long and without my input I found myself against both of them with Roark by my side.

It was obvious from the start that they found me the greater threat, as they ordered both their pokemon to Paralyze Almia just to be sure. After a while we manage to gain some ground as Roark Feraligatr's Ice Fang Koed Dragonair, giving me some time to heal Almia. After that was done Almia's Power Gem finished of the Gyarados, she weakened earlier. Since my attention was on the Gyarados, Roark tried to deal with the Dragonite that came out next, but his Feraligatr could only do so much, and it fell to an extremely powerful Thunder.

The battle shifted in our favor once I managed to Ko that Dragonite, as Lance's next pokemon was a Charazard, while Clair sent her own Dragonite to take revenge. We managed to take down both of them without too much problems. Charazard fell because of it's X4 weakness to Rock and Dragonite was eventually knocked out because of Poison. Both Lance and Clair looked worried as they only hand one pokemon left, Clair's Kingdra.

That Kingdra was an absolute beast through, it managed to survive a direct attack from Almia's Shadow Ball (no many pokemon can do that) and fired a super effective ice beat at Roark's Crobat, knocking it out. Roark last pokemon was his Gengar which, along with Almia, was more than enough to handle the Kingdra.

With the battle won, we were both congratulated by our opponents. Roark then once again declared that he was going to beat me one day, and walked off. I think I (along with Lance) managed to change his out look on pokemon as during the battle he wasn't giving out as much criticism as he used to.

I then once again bordered the Magnet Train in Goldenrod, as I still had to challenge two more gym leaders as my duty as Johto Champion.

  • Maybe I'll try this. Sounds interesting.

Anyway, I think I'll go for it with a Beldium->Metang->Metagross. Gonna do FR, SS, E, then D. Maybe in that order, maybe not. I'll probably start on FR.

    Beldum Solo Run, Fr-1

*Modified Fr so that Beldum can be a starter*
*Used GS on Fr so that the National Dex is unlocked so Beldum Can Evolve*

When I was about to go into the wild, I was saved by some old pervy man. He was nice enough to give me a pokemon though. He gave me a beldum, and his grandson some lame-ass pokemon name bulbasaur (jk, he's pretty good). Then, his grandson, who goes by the name Green, not sure which drug his parents we're one when they named him, anyway, he challenged me to a battle, and he got beat to a pulp, then went crying home. Got Beldum, then Beat Rival, delivered package to Oak, got Pokedex. I went all the way (gigedy) to Veridian town, were some rude old man wouldn't let me pass, so I went to the store to buy some eggs to throw at him, but when I got to the PokeMart, the clerck made me deliver a pakage to the Old pervy Prof. Once it was delivered to Oak, he gave me something called a PokeDex, he told me to find many kinds of Pokemon, and I was like screw you, you lazy ass. So I left, I went back to Veridian, flicked off the rude old man, and went to a forrest, were I grinded my Beldum till he evolved into a Metang. I tried to go to a Mountain that I saw in the Horizon, but some guy wouldn't let me pass, and told me to beat Brock, some weak gym leader guy. So, I beat him, he gave me some tm thing, and a badge. So I went to the mountain. As I was leaving the town, one of Pervy Man Oak's assistants gave me a pakage from my mommy, it was running shoes, so now I can finnaly run. I went to the mountain, it was called Mt. Moon, I went threw, and kicked the asses of some stupid gang who think their all that called "Team Rocket". I mean what kinda name is that. Anyway, I went threw the Mountain, and got a fossil. I went on to Cerulean City, were I found Green...
