Awesome to meet you too Gabe, and welcome to the forums! I started playing the Pokemon games around the 3rd Generation as well, so there's something we got in common there.
First things first, why not tell us more about yourself? We'd love to get to know more about you plus given there's currently little to go off here, it can help us recommend sections for you. There's a lot you can discuss here anyway, so do look around and hopefully you'll find something you love. Also, as Archer said we've got lots of non-Pokemon topics as well, so consider looking at those as well.
I hope to see you around and do stay active when you can! The staff team and even fellow members outside of the staff are also happy to lend you a hand if you have any questions.

Well aside from pokemon my other favorite series is fire emblem.
I also dont do any competitive battling whatsoever
I am trying out some challenges currently but i have yet to complete one successfully
I always like going a few rounds on ssb4 wiiu or doing a few hunts on mh3u
Im a bit clumsy and shy at times
I also im not the most social of people irl
Flame shield up: my favorite pokemon is vanilluxe

I love Fire Emblem Awakening, it was the only FE game I played but it was soo good haha. Can't wait for that next one coming for the 3DS. :'(( Have you seen the trailers yet?
