  • Inochi was getting alittle bored from the talking."Hi everyone! My name is Inochi!" he yelled out. "I'm not a host, but a follower to help you in your adventures." He made a funny look as he watched others come. He had something on his mind as he kept on staring around. "Anyways, when do we get out of this place. I wanna go on the adventure already." He started to run towards the gate and he kicked it open. "Everyone! Let's go!" Inochi raised his arm up in a cheerful way of commandment. "Oh and by the way, just so everyone here knows, I'm a high leveled Chuunin. I was assigned this mission to protect the Legged-beasts." He stared at Ochai. "So he's part spider, huh? I guess he's the most important one out of us. I have to give him extra protection from Akatsuki."

Kanan smiled, raised an eyebrow, and folded her arms, "Hn... Let's not, okay Inochi? We still have to wait for two people." She waved her hand as if swatting away an annoying gnat, "And besides, I don't remember anyone asking you what rank you were. Chuunin is hardly impressive." Kanan sighed, "I'm not sure if I want to go anymore. I thought they valued our lives a little more to send Jounin instead of Chuunin. I mean, half of us here are already Chuunin anyway, and we ARE going off to fight a bunch of bingo book S-rank..."

As malicious and stinging as her words were, she didn't find them mean in the least- She was just speaking her mind, after all, "Good morning Aiko-san!" She said with a grin towards the girl. (Female... therefore, deserves better treatment.)

"Hey," Kanan turned to face the others, "Where are we going first? I mean, how are we supposed to find a bunch of Akatsuki? It's not like they walk around in broad daylight, right? Or are we just going to go to random places and ask whether people have seen the Akatsuki?"

And from there, Naoki began his story about the threat of the Akatsuki, and how he was chosen to be the host of a creature that would save the village. And at the end of it all, he felt relieved that he had finally opened up to her. He sighed, looking up at the moving clouds for a moment, before standing up. He picked up his backpack, zipped it up, and slung the straps on his shoulders. He then looked down at the stone, with the orange laying on top. He quickly bowed in respect.

"Sorry, but I have to go now... I'm running late already," Naoki bent up straight and smiled. "After all this is over, I promise to come back and visit you." And with that, Naoki ran off the cemetery, into the rest of the village. Darn, I'm late! he thought, I can't believe it took me that long to explain everything to her! Well, at least she's happy...

Naoki ran through the crowded streets, nimbly dodging pedestrians. Eventually, he made it to the gate of Konoha. Shoot, he thought, there's already several people here. So I was late. Naoki laughed at himself quietly. And after he stopped, he began to think to himself again, So... It takes this many people to beat the Akatsuki? Then again, they're a bunch of S-class missing-nin, so I shouldn't complain.

And whereas the usual, friendly kind would introduce themself to the group they would be working with for who knows how long, Naoki just walked towards the nearest wall, and leaned back against it. He closed his eyes for a moment, then opened one of them and watched the people converse with each other. He sighed, and closed his eye. He stood there, as if waiting for someone to come up to him and start talking. Not that anyone would come and talk to me, he thought.

  • Ochai changed his focus to the one asking about where we would look for the Akatsuki. "Well, first of all we can't all be together. If we do then people would suspect something was up thus if we walked by an Akatsuki member, we would be dead. Yes, that is really the only thing we can do...unless one of you has infinite knowledge of where the Akatsuki's hideout is." Ochai joked, giggling a bit to himself. "I think the best thing to do is split up into groups of four depending on each of our strengths and weaknesses and take different routs while still keeping in contact. But we should really wait for everyone else to show up before we actually start planning. I really don't like to repeat myself." Ochai ended his sentence while turning toward the entrence of Konoha. "Where is everyone?" He whispered to himself.

  • Inochi smiled cheerfully at Kanan. "Well technically, I'm a Jonin level nin, but I never made it to the Jonin Exams. Hokage let me stay a Chuunin, but will let me lead my own squad in a few months from now." He scratched his head and went over to her. "My apoligies. what is your name, miss? If you want me, I will show you a demenstration on my abilities." He raised his hand up in a handshake form to greet Kanan.

Naoki sighed, then listened carefully to what the others had to say. This guy... Seems to be quite smart, he thought, smirking. Naoki delved into his world of thoughts. He's smart. I wonder who I'd end up teaming up with... His eyes opened once more and scanned through the group of people. Hmm... They all seem like pretty decent ninja to me. Some even look like Jounin. He exited the world in his head, and, like a mannequin being controlled by an unknown force, walked towards the crowd. He stopped when he was just a meter away from them.

"I agree with that guy," Naoki stated, pointing and looking at the boy with light brown skin and dark brown eyes. "Sorry, I don't know your name..." He then looked towards the rest of the people. "We should organise ourselves into groups." He turned around, looking into the streets of Konoha. "But before that... I think we should, erm, 'get to know each other' a little bit more." Naoki turned back towards the group of people, looking at their eyes individually, then turned away, walking towards 'his' wall. "If anyone wants to know anything about me, then, yeah..."

His voice trailed off as he leaned back against his wall. And once again, Naoki began to think to himself. Why in the world did I do that... Stupid, stupid me. Oh well. I guess it would help with the success of this mission if everyone does know each other. Or at least if they all know each other's names. Great, I have new set of names to remember... Naoki paused. It was so much easier when I only had two names to remember: nee-san's and baa-chan's. That was such an easy life...

"Hee," Kanan grinned, "No need for a demonstration- I'll be fine. Beside's, I'll see it eventually." Kanan unfolded her arms and clapped, "I think that's a good idea! But we should pick teams as to which abilities compliment the other group members' abilites the best! Anyway, most of us are here, right? That means it should be alright to introduce myself; My name is Mitsukara, Kanan!" She shook the chuunin's hand and skipped over to the guy at the wall, dragging him back over to the group itself, "You should stand with us, otherwise you might fall asleep and we might accidentally leave without you! That would be bad!" Kanan stated cheerfully, her statement possibly the least likely thing to happen on the face of the earth as she spun around again, to continue her introduction now that everyone was listening within a distance that suited the young kunoichi, "Anyway, I've lived with my grandparents for as long as I remember, and I'm host to the...uh..."

Kanan paused. To be honest, she hadn't really taken the time to remember which beast was inside her. Was it useful information, it's name? Not really.

"Well, I'm host to one of them, at least!" She stuck out her tongue and tapped the side of her forehead, trying to remember, "Well whatever. I don't like the dark, and I don't like bugs, and I don't like boys." She grinned childishly, acting completely oblivious to the fact that possibly the majority of the people around her were... male, "So that's me!" Kanan chirped, "I'm done introducing myself now!" She clasped her hands behind her back, practically radiating a sunny mood. Picking up her messenger bag and slinging it around her torso, she waited for the next person to introduce themselves, even though it was obvious she was ready to just zoom out of sight with pent up energy.

  • Late, but that wasn't really a surprise when it came to her. She was always late and even more so she arrived via her favorite way possible; On the back of her trusty steed Kazegami. The summoned horse was a fine black color with markings much like Aisha's own running all the way from its snout to the very tips of its tail, these markings in white rather than the black Aisha's own were in. Aisha much rather using her chakra to summon forth the steed than she did walking that was for sure.

'You really must learn to walk, Ammy,' the horse snorted, rearing its head back as it neared the gates of the village hidden in the leaves. 'Many people are beginning to think that you are not worthy of the Jounin title, that one so lazy could not possibly as skilled as many others think. You need to be a little more active if you ever wish to make it into the ANBU one day, little wolf.'
Aisha snorted, blowing the offending strands of orange and brown hair out of her eyes. "I can be active when I want to, just because I'm not the most active of people now doesn't mean that I don't have the skills to become an ANBU. Not many people can draw their own thoughts into the battle scene or summon forth the Zodiacs to help do her bidding."

'Or in this case, DO her bidding. Perhaps I and your other summoned partners and more qualified in becoming a part of the ANBU than you ever will, little wolf. Many do say that the dog is the laziest of the lot, even the sheep goddess shows more interest in life than you do, Ammy.' The horse was in a much sarcastic and playful mood today.

Aisha growled menacingly at her brother and gave him a thwack over the head. "My family may not have kept their original powers and appearance as you did, Kazegami, but I'm sure I could beat you into the ground if you carry on with the cheek. Bear in mind I can use your powers to my advantage." She sounded way to smug for the horse's liking and this earned her a trip to the ground as Aisha was caught of guard and the horse reared backwards and threw Aisha from its back.

Aisha could only glare up at the smirking God. "I hate you."

'You are my sister, it is only natural.' With that the horse disappeared, leaving Aisha to glance up at her team mates, some of which were under graded compared to herself. She grinned sheepishly and got to her feet, dusting herself off and running a shaky hand through her many of orange and brown hair. "Perhaps you already know me, but I am Aisha of the Amaterasu clan, wielder of the Celestial brush and wolf goddess of the thirteen zodiacs!"

  • I looked at everyone with a mild expression on my face. I then jumped onto the top of the gates and looked at the horizon.I looked down at everyone and broke the short silence.

"Where is the rest of the people? If there's more than they better hurrry because it's almost time to go!" I yelled out as loud as I can , hoping that if there were more people that they would hear. I gave out an annoyed "Hmph!" as I layed down on the hard wood. I started to bite down on a toothpick from my bag and looked at the sky. I looked back at my house as my sister came running towards the group. "Sis! What is it now!?" I called out . I jumped down and she handed me my sword. "You almost forgot it , Daisuke!" She yelled back. We started to get more annoyed with eachother as our battle aura sparked to where everyone could see and feel it. "I'll make sure that when you come back , Daisuke , I beat your head in and make you have brain damage!" She threatened vigorously. I glared at her and answered to her threat. "We'll see about that! And if I beat you you'll have to do five hundred pushups like last time! And if I lose I do a thousand! Just to make it easier on you , little sis!"

  • Ochai noticed that everyone was starting to get bored. He then noticed the newest person to come. "I think we have enough people now, and if not than tough luck. But before we start planning, I would like to introduce myself. I am Ochai Hyuuga, I am very skilled at ninjutsu and taijutsu but not so much at genjutsu. I contain "The Eight Legged Aracudo". I can create webbing that can drain chakra, or be regular webbing at my will." Ochai began as he lifted his right hand and started to make webbing come out of his pours. "It is very sticky and I can make the webbing come out of any part of my body. I like to use the webbing to stick to walls. Well, I guess that's it." Ochai said, ending his introduction. He then sucked the webbing back into his pours. He then walked over to the wall of the gate, waiting for the next introduction.

  • OOC: Um, not to be a nazi about this or anything, Shadowfaith, but god is only captilalized when it refers to a god from a monotheistic religion. Since there are multiple animals of the zodiac, when you refer to them as gods, you need a small 'g'.

    IC:

Momoji raised his eyebrow as the girl who was thrown from the horse introduced herself. "Wielder of the what? I'm sorry, I didn't quite hear you over the little voice in my brain screaming 'Run, Momoji! It's yet another full of herself team mate!'. Jeesh, if you're wielder of the thirteen zodiacs, then you're either delusional or a jinchuuriki that Akatsuki happened to skip. I favor the first theory." Scratching his head and pretending to enter deep thought, he mused "Of course, you could always be a reincarnated animal of the Zodiac yourself... the most likely one I'd say would be the rat, from your smell." He was about to laugh at his own joke, before he caught himself. This was no time to be informal! Clearing his throat, and gathering himself, he picked up the "horse-slayer" from where he had let it fall, then nodded to the group. "I apologize for my rudeness. I'm a member of the original security team that guarded Uzumaki Naruto, Hayate Momoji. Jounin, soon to be ANBU if I successfully complete this mission. I'm a mid-to-long range combat specialist, and I know a thing or two about protection of a charge." Nodding to the others, he made a quick decision. It wouldn't hurt to show off a little, would it?

Without warning, he opened his hole directly beneath his feet, and allowed himself to drop through. To the others, he would appear to vanish into thin air, leaving only a puff of dark smoke that leaked through from the portal dimension his hole led to. As he felt himself pass through the portal, he released his hold on the sword, making sure to mentally mark its new location relative to his other weapons, so as not to waste time when he next traveled through. Technically, virtually no time was taken up outside no matter how long he stayed, but the longer he remained in the dimension, the greater risk that his chakra would give out, trapping him. Gauging the best possible point of exit, he targeted his hole so that he would emerge from the ground directly behind the girl with the wolf-like features, and leaped.

Sure enough, his exit from the hole was perfect. To everyone else, the entire maneuver would have been instantaneous, and he would have appeared to have teleported directly behind the kunoichi. "Excuse me miss," he asked, tapping her on the shoulder, "But would you mind explaining what, exactly, is this sacred brush thing that you wield?"

  • As Ochai introduced himself and the other girl. Another teamate sort of introduced themselves. 'Speaking of someone full of themelves.' Shikakum thought as she listened to him talk and then show off. 'Why are guys always like this? She thought as she remebered what her mother told her about her father and other men.

"Well, I guess I'll go next then!" Shikakum said as she leaned against the gate. "My name's Shikakum Naara, my father being Shikamaru Naara. I'm great at Taijutsu and have a lot of speed. I've got the Five Legged Maka inside of me." She said as she jumped up in the air about 50 feet up and moved her body around in the air, letting all the tails come out and mover around her. 'If everyone else is going to show off, I might as well!' She thought as she landed gracefully on the ground.

Naoki stood there, trying to take in as much information about the other people who have introduced themselves. Strangely enough, he had an uncanny ability that let him remember most of what he had heard and seen without too much difficulty. Of course, this meant that he did remember things which he did not want to. But as long as he did not think about them, he could live normally. So far, he began to think to himself once again, only three of the hosts for the Five Legged Beasts have introduced themselves. Then there's me, so that's four. I wonder who the fifth one is... Naoki's pupils slowly rolled left, then right. They glared at each one of the figures that stood there for at least five seconds before moving on to the next person. Once he had reached the end of the group, he closed his eyes and sighed. I wonder when we're going to get going, he though. And by thinking this, he stood up in front of the crowd again, and began to introduce himself, afraid of the fact that they might not end up going anywhere soon.

"I'm Shuunjou Naoki. Chuunin. I am the host of the Four Legged Woyel. I prefer to use taijutsu, although the majority of my techniques are ninjutsu. And the only reason I did this was because I wanted to get going..." Naoki sighed at the completion of his task. Although his introduction had only lasted several seconds, for him, it seemed like it lasted hours. It felt like he had been babbling on about his life story in slow motion. He never really liked to speak in public, and every time he does, it gives him the same feeling over and over again.

I'm glad that's out of the way, he thought. He impatiently tapped his right foot on the ground in a rhythmic pattern, and tried to not make it obvious that he was annoyed. He looked down at the ground. Small amounts of dust were kicked up from his moving foot, and hovered above it. He stopped the movement of his foot, and watched as each little particle of dust slowly fell, settling on his toes. It's strange how the smallest things can interest a person, he thought.

  • Ochai stood there, leaning on the wall of the gate. He had taken out a clip bored and paper then began to right down everyones abilities. "Kanan, she didn't give much information on her abilities. That girl who just came can apparently call on the zodiacs. I can drain chakra. Momoji can apparently create warp wholes. Shikakum can make multiple tails plus she can use the shadow imitation. Naoki, she uses mostly taijutsu but most of her techniques are using ninjutsu. Well once we start planning we will take everything into consideration. But I do wish some of these people would explain more about themselves, sheesh." Ochai thought while taking notes of everyones abilities. "So, who's next?" He asked.

  • Daisuke looked at Naoki and responded. "Hey Naoki , I'm Syuryu Daisuke. I am the host to the three legged Penaku. I can control any kind of water freely and change the shape and size of it. Here , let me demonstrate." Daisuke slowly pointed at a nearby fountain with nobody around. Slowly he brought his hand up. The water started to rise just like his hand and he threw a small group of Black Widows , which he wasn't afraid of , into the rising water and balled his hand into a fist. The water started to grow into a ball and put pressure into itself. Soon the Black Widows were crushed but he didn't stop there.

Daisuke then opened his hand again and waved it and spun it in the air. The water seemed like a small typhoon and then broke apart. Daisuke made the Rat, Tiger, Dog, Ox, Rabbit, Tiger handseals in order and yelled out , "Fire Element! Phoenix Flower Jutsu!" He shot multiple fireballs out of his mouth and hit every single drop of water instantly , creating a beautiful sight as the little driplets shined in the sun before evaporating also. Daisuke then stood up straight and walked back towards his sister , who was now leaving. "Remember Daisuke , don't die. We still have a score to settle!" She said with a sadistic little smile. He nodded with a sadistic smile of his own and walked towards the wall , waving goodbye to his kunoichi sister."Anyways , yeah I'm the three legged Penaku and that's my ability , control over water . And as you can see I can do fire jutsus too. Hopefully I'm able to do more of my techniques when we're on our way."

OOC:I added Phoenix Flower Jutsu to my techniques list.

  • Inochi noticed a group of felines exiting the gates and walking towards traps which are used to kill a shinobi. He quickly ran and sat near a spot which he used Mind Body Switch on the leader of the pack. He focused on a huge Siberian (sp?) tiger who was in behind a wolf pup and a litter of lions.

He was in the leader's possesion now and it was up to him to save the pack. He growled to the group as he forced them behind him and ran back to the gates. Inochi appeared back in his body after serveral minutes and was gasping for air. It seemed as if he was scared for some reason. "Hey guys, there are traps beyond the gates so if you want, I will be on by 'birds eye veiw' if you want."

  • Crappy post Dx.

IC~ As she watched the others show off in a way, she eyes sparkled with glee as if she were a child at the ice cream shop. Everyone except her at introduced themselves, she started. "Wasuremono Aiko, pronounced 'WA-SU-RAE-MOE-NO A-YE-KO' she screamed, so everyone would hear the remainder, Anyways, Aiko-chan is good with taijutsu and kinda genjutsu, but Aiko-chan totally sucks at ninjutsu, at this, she laughed and giggled a bit after this, before showing off another of her big-house grins.

She had already seen the people next to her around the villlage, but she couldn't put herself on that. There was Kanan-chan who had already been nice to Aiko, she liked Kanan. Then there was Shikakum-chan, who had showed off herself to the strangers around her. then there was Aisha, who was the wielder of the brush-thingy Aiko had never heard about. And Ochai-chan, who was REALLY~ a show-off, Aiko didn't like him that much. Daisuke-chan, who was the same as Ochai, wasn't that interesting either. Momoji-chan was okay, but he was too emotional for Aiko. Aiko hoped that she hadn't missed someone. "Soooooooooooooo~" came Aiko's long reply, "When are we going to goo~ I want to go~!" It had started to turn into a bit of an ugly tantrum.

  • "Uh, everybody! I think I have the teams." Ochai yelled out. "If you don't like who I added up then just tell me, ok. I think that Aiko, Inochi and Momoji should be in team one. Team two: Daisuke, Naoki and Aisha. Kanan, Shikakum and I will be team three. I based these teams with our strengths and weaknesses as much as I could. And again, if you have a problem with the team ups just tell me but until one of you speak up, we need to find a way to keep communication. Then we can head off." Ochai exclaimed. "Sorry if I sound a little bossy to you guys. I'm just concerned for everyones safety. I have been on a couple missions where my team and I had choices of life or death. I almost lost one of my friends once. But anyway, What do you all think of the team ups?" Ochai asked.

  • Aisha snorted and turned her head to stare at the other, "I am a reincarnation of a zodiac, and my entire family has been since we can remember. We are the sign of the dog, that's why my appearance resembles that of a wolf so much. The brush on the other hand, isn't really a brush per say, its more of a power where I can bring my own thoughts into the frame. I can't explain it very well but picture the entire field as a canvas, that's how it looks like to me. I can basically attack using the power of my mind and the other zodiacs, or use powers by drawing a certain shape in mid air, sorta like I'm using a paint brush. Call it a doing of my imaginative mind; it's a bloodline limit in which no one can copy. It is unique to my clan."

Per example, Aisha positioned herself in front of a tree and concentrated hard. All of a sudden her eyes grew even more wolfish and her canines began to extend to the point where they were visible over her bottom lip. The ears atop her head grew longer and more pointed and the tattoos that sprawled across her skin began to glow red. When she was ready, she lifted one lazy finger and created a horizontal line in front of her, all at the same time calling out, "Power slash!"

The tree before her suddenly split into two as a swooshing noise rattled through the air. The top half of the tree fell to the ground in a rustle of leaves and Aisha turned back, smirking smugly at her team mates. "That is the power of my bloodline. As for the groups, I'm all for them, though having two Jounin on one team is a little strange, it would benefit more to have them spread out, but ah well."

She scratched her sensitive nose and re positioned the back pack she had thrown over one of her shoulders. She was beginning to wonder if they were ever going to leave from the gate, after all they had been standing there for quite a while. Though she wondered further as to the fact why she hadn't moved first, after all she probably was the most experienced of the group. But then again she just wasn't one of the few who were in the possession of another soul within them, this was more they're journey, she was just along for the ride.

"Umm, I hate to be rude. But wouldn't it be an idea to get moving soon before it actually starts getting dark. I don't fancy setting up camp outside of the village gates, that would be rather foolish don't you think?"

"Yeah, let's leave," Kanan agreed, grinning and taking three giant steps toward the opposite side of the walls, "We can plan all of what we're going to do, tonight. Who's on which team, where each team is going, and all that junk. Oh! Oh! I remember now! It's like, the two-legged Sante? The thingy I mean ...Or something. Wind manipulation!" Kanan waved her hands around to give an 'example', even though she did nothing to the wind. Perhaps she was pointing out the air around them. Perhaps she was just waving her hands because she felt like it. Either way, directly afterwards, she bolted to the otherside of the gate and gave the group still within Konohagakure two thumbs up.

"Well anyway. Let's GOOOOO~" She sang twisting around and marching down the beaten path. This being the first time she would go farther then the limits of Konoha's safety, even the small ring around the outside of the great walls that had protected her for so long, she had never gone any farther.
