OOC: Um, not to be a nazi about this or anything, Shadowfaith, but god is only captilalized when it refers to a god from a monotheistic religion. Since there are multiple animals of the zodiac, when you refer to them as gods, you need a small 'g'.

Momoji raised his eyebrow as the girl who was thrown from the horse introduced herself. "Wielder of the what? I'm sorry, I didn't quite hear you over the little voice in my brain screaming 'Run, Momoji! It's yet another full of herself team mate!'. Jeesh, if you're wielder of the thirteen zodiacs, then you're either delusional or a jinchuuriki that Akatsuki happened to skip. I favor the first theory." Scratching his head and pretending to enter deep thought, he mused "Of course, you could always be a reincarnated animal of the Zodiac yourself... the most likely one I'd say would be the rat, from your smell." He was about to laugh at his own joke, before he caught himself. This was no time to be informal! Clearing his throat, and gathering himself, he picked up the "horse-slayer" from where he had let it fall, then nodded to the group. "I apologize for my rudeness. I'm a member of the original security team that guarded Uzumaki Naruto, Hayate Momoji. Jounin, soon to be ANBU if I successfully complete this mission. I'm a mid-to-long range combat specialist, and I know a thing or two about protection of a charge." Nodding to the others, he made a quick decision. It wouldn't hurt to show off a little, would it?
Without warning, he opened his hole directly beneath his feet, and allowed himself to drop through. To the others, he would appear to vanish into thin air, leaving only a puff of dark smoke that leaked through from the portal dimension his hole led to. As he felt himself pass through the portal, he released his hold on the sword, making sure to mentally mark its new location relative to his other weapons, so as not to waste time when he next traveled through. Technically, virtually no time was taken up outside no matter how long he stayed, but the longer he remained in the dimension, the greater risk that his chakra would give out, trapping him. Gauging the best possible point of exit, he targeted his hole so that he would emerge from the ground directly behind the girl with the wolf-like features, and leaped.
Sure enough, his exit from the hole was perfect. To everyone else, the entire maneuver would have been instantaneous, and he would have appeared to have teleported directly behind the kunoichi. "Excuse me miss," he asked, tapping her on the shoulder, "But would you mind explaining what, exactly, is this sacred brush thing that you wield?"
