As the hours begin to creep into the night, Sam steps off of the bus and stares up the path ahead of her. She pulls her jacket in a little tighter as the bitter winter wind blows past. Down the path, she can make out the faint shape of the gate that opens up to the lower end of the cable car, the only way up to the Mount Washington Lodge.

As she begins to walk, she fails to notice the Strange Figure watching her from the other side of the road.

Soon everyone would be arriving, and their vacation could truly begin.

For this first phase, all of the survivors start out at the Lower Cable Car. They may not necessarily all arrive at the same time, but that's dependent on when during the phase each player decides to take action.

The Wendigo are not yet in play at this point . . . but they'll come soon. Wendigo players can still converse in the thread, of course. Everyone has a say in the Reveal Vote, after all.

For now, players may only move between the Lower Cable Car, Upper Cable Car, and Lodge. They must be visited in that order. Moving between the two cable car sections does not consume a movement. The Lodge has subsections which you may visit, but those sections will only be revealed once players arrive there.

Remember: survivors may only visit two distinct locations per phase, but they may linger in one location for as long as they like. Keep an eye on your environment, look close, and take as many actions as you feel you need to. You may interact with your environment and other characters. Unless you are presented with a specific choice, you may interact with these things however you please.

Rules
  • All PokéCommunity rules apply.
  • Each player may enter two areas per phase. The area they choose should be Private Messaged to the Game Master and should not be mentioned in the thread.
  • Each player must perform at least one action per phase. Going two phases without performing an action will result in that player's removal.
  • Missing two consecutive Reveal votes will also result in a player's removal.
  • Due to the nature of the game, all phases will last at least 72 hours.
  • All actions should be sent to the Game Master via Private Message.
  • No Private Messaging other players about the game.
  • Any discussion of the game should be kept in this thread.
  • Do not post here once you have been killed. You get one death post, which may not contain any information pertaining to the game.

Ah okay, thanks, I was unclear about that - I thought moving was in thread and actions in the area were PMed.

Yeah, I just assumed it wasn't necessary to mention since moving between the cable cars doesn't use a movement.

? Each phase is an hour in game, but each "hour" will last at least three days in real time.

If you still want to be replaced, I can do so.

Also, guys, I don't think I mentioned it anywhere, considering it hadn't even occurred to me until now, but for your reveal votes, you can opt to reveal no one, but you must still vote as normal.

And for now, it's not a big deal if you guys accidentally post your actions in the thread, but it will become important that you don't forget later on, when the actions become more tailored to you and your situation. However, I won't respond to your action unless it's PMed to me. Thanks. c:
 
Wait, what bench? Did y'all get a map or something? Cuz I sure did not.
 
Would that be me? I can assure you I am not a wendigo. Naku clearly said that wendigos are not in play yet, so it would be stupid of me to ask if you got a map if I were one.
 
well you could be the stranger or the psycho... iirc the victims are probably the ones who usually do the choices so yeah :x
 
This game seems like it's going to rely heavily on role-play. So, if Sam is the only one who has arrived at this point, and the 2 unaligned were already there, it essentially means they have knowledge of their surroundings.
So, if Nimsy knew there is a bench there, and Gunner called me a wendigo because I don't have a map, I think we could have an idea of who they might be..

I've just played the game and watched cryaotic play it too, so I know where things are.
