Until Dawn

Well a part of the problem was the win condition, like you only needed to survive until dawn, and thats it. If you have that as your win con, then whats the point in killing people?

That was part of what I meant. Had my original plans endured, people such as you simply would have been unable to bring the game to a standstill just to survive until dawn.

The concept with how Josh kidnapped Emily and Jess at one point is similar, albeit a much simpler, version of how I originally thought to handle choices. People would have been forced into dangerous situations, and would have had to find a way to save themselves. That's why I had such disclaimers as events forcing players to certain areas within the opening post of the thread. It just didn't end up going as planned.

Were it a perfect world, I would have had the time to be much more involved as a GM, which would have allowed me to manage things more meticulously. In the end, my shortage of time and inability to be as active as certain players are what led me to handing over management to Nimsy.

I'd like to thank my human buddies for not slitting my throat on the spot when they found me. You da reel mvps
Boy I considered it when you were at the small cabin cause I didn't know if you were coming to kill me or not. Unless that was hallucination too, since I was also crazy, lol.

I felt like I was being really annoying with my PMs sometimes, 'cause I was being overly cautious and most of my 'actions' were more like "can you tell me about my surroundings", "can you tell me what I hear", "can I do this?" etc. instead of actually doing things. So I tried to send minimal messages after a while, since GMing a regular game is hard enough but in a game where all players can send you unlimited actions and you have to make up new scenarios on the spot, it's gotta be rough on the GM, so props to you guys for even trying it.

But that's kind of an excuse for my inactivity, it had more to do with what Gunner mentioned - that the win con didn't really require us to actively do things, so I just felt like the best course of action was to just gather supplies, hole up and don't do things unless prompted or threatened. Which is boring, but hey, better chances of winning than going wendigo-hunting. :P

well i did wanted to atleast kill one of you off, but i got revealed like early on (eff u doof) so yeah no, im gonna protect myself lol
