ya he evolved just did not want to be happy i put a bell on him evolved @ 37

@ KumaKi- I believe it can evolve into a Pikachu, but when receiving the event it is holding an Everstone so you'll have to take that away first. Also, contests can't help your pokémon grow a level and you'll have to take it out to trainers or in the wild for it to level up. xD;

Though it is true that Pichu evolves from happiness, advancing a level is still necessary to "trigger" the evolution.

I got my pichu today. Didn't expect it to know volt tackle!

But if you have to trade the pichu to HG/SS to get the spiky eared pichu, wouldn't evolving it ruin the chance to get spiky eared pichu?

the answer is yes, you can grab 3 copies of pichu if you got 3 copies of the game. however, you can't grab 3 pichus per game because it only allows one wondercard. sadly, it doesn't work like that.

you could grab more per game, but you would have to restart the game and get to the first gym or something to unlock the wifi.
 
today i got my pichu and had to wait until some people left the store to get it its just doesnt feel right when you dont buy anything in there and leave

I dont get why you people think it doesnt feel right. They have the event so not like you have to buy anything for the event its totally normal.

I heard that the event will still activate even if Pichu evolves into Pikachu (or Raichu). Just to play it safe, I'm leaving mine unevolved until I can check it out personally.

I've already EV trained mine! :P Jolly w/ a max speed IV, 252 ATK/252 SPE/6HP. Would've prefered a Hasty/Naive nature, but w/e, at least they gave us a speed beneficial nature. Now we have Jirachi to look forward to.
 
Ok...so all I have to do is go into my local Gamestop and ....what?

I agree, even without a event I bet at least 60% of the people who go into a gaming store daily don't buy nothing.

Go in, and read the poster on what to do.

And really, the whole promotion costs next to nothing, since the only thing required is a poster or 2. The pay-off for them is getting you in the store to see that you can pre-order HG/SS.
 
Could you post a link to it? I'm new to this forum (obviously), so I'm not sure where it's at.

EDIT: Ok, now that was a stupid question. Sorry about that. For a second, I thought that you were talking about a thread. I was in school during one of the classes that I have access to a computer with internet and class was almost out, so I was in a hurry and didn't think about that.

Hmmmm, difficult question regarding events

The shiny pichu event is running, but I may not be able to get to a gamestop, if I download a rom with the event activated and send it to my legit platinum copy, would this be considered a hack pokémon sense the event IS running and all.

Just sort of a blurry area, and I only want legit pokés
 
Gamestop Jirachi Problems

My buddy at Gamestop which is a manager and his store is top in the region told me that Nintendo is throwing a mighty fit because some of there stores has released the Jirachi ahead of time. They are threatening gamestop that they won't do anymore events with them after Jirachi if it keeps being released and spread around the interwebz.

I'm asking as a fellow gamer please don't trade/clone it until the event is happening. From what i understand Gamestop has fired people already for this

You can believe me or not but if it keeps up Gamestop wont be holding any Nintendo events after this meaning no more Pokemon/DS tournaments.

I heard that there is an Jirachi event going up from February 27 to March 13th.

Got meh Pichu about two weeks ago :D It's in my PC atm, just chilling. I don't want to mess with it yet. I'm tempted to breed it to get Volt Tackle on some of my other pokes.
