making new resources that's renewable isn't easy... it's not likely going to be cheap enough for normal US citizens to use until at least 50 years later. (i assume 35 years to invent it, 15 years to reduce the production cost for it) So US will need oil for now at least. Even if they got the new "oil" out, there's still the transitional phrase where they need oil.

i don't think US attacks Iraq for oil... i think it's for surrounding china... *ahem*
(the sentence above is a completely biased opinion from a chinese person)

actually , it already has a prototype , its like gas , made from corn and vegatable oils , different kinds of chemicals , alchoals , and dont for get , Oil.

If this is true, then why does everyone say this war is over oil?

cause even if US has this mysterious fuel thingie... they can still make some big profit from selling oil.

why does Bush LOWER taxes before war? he's the first world leader that does that. Most countries raises taxes before war to help with army fundings. So ppl suspect that Bush is confident to win the war first, then earn the war fundings back along with extras from selling oil.

I guess he expected it to be a brief war, also, America's economy was in bad shape.

I'll just comment that I like him very much. ^_^ I think he's good for our country. But, I don't want to start anything so I'm leaving now! :paranoid: *scampers off*
