Using a Walkthrouh?

Simply out of curiousity, does anybody actually use a walkthrough for any of the games?

I admit that I do, but only because the post-game stuff is so large that I would be totally lost without one.

I've used FAQs a couple of times for learning how to EV train and for some pokemon locations but ive never extensively used a walkthrough. I just dont think that pokemon is a game that needs a walkthrough; some games become much easier with them while others are just simply unnecesary. A walkthrough can make parts of the pokemon games much easier (Colloseum comes to mind, sometimes i got confused as to where i needed to go), but for the main series, apart from post-game, walkthroughs arent that useful at all.

I used a walkthrough for Yellow, when I was younger.

No, I think the Pokémon games are pretty easy to figure out. If I ever used anything it was Serebii's Pokédex if I didn't know where or how to catch a Pokémon. =/

Normally, I do not, but when I started to play Pearl, I needed information about how many Pokemon exist, how many I can catch in the game, how I can catch them, what kinds of new items exist etc. This is because I skipped the advance gen. games and suddenly saw many changes.
Besides this, no I don't. Maybe I look up how to get though annoying caves but that wasn't necessairy in Pearl.

I used one for the RSE games. Other that that I never used it. Oh, no wait, do Marriland's videos count?

I also use FAQs though, for contests, EV trainings, and such.

    I think they do....

I have a few guides for games let's see....Pokemon Yellow Guide, Pokemon DP guide and a Pokedex, and a Platinum Guide. I used to have some Mystery Dungeon games, but I didn't like them that much so I sold them so now I'm left with just the guides.

I also use Marriland's, Chuggaconroy's, and SuperSkarmory's Pokemon videos on youtube.

No Pokemon games are really easy for me..
Plus I like beating them with out help of any kind.
I do use stuff like EV Guides though.

I used to. Then I found out the internet existed.
Our friend Penguinpal6 and I share an opinion on this matter. :-] (ololol)

It's nice to have a hard copy, but it's ludicrous to spend $15-20 on something that you can already access via internet.

To be honest, I never used a walkthrough. For me, games are more fun when you figure out things yourself. I use FAQs though, but only for learning about IVs, EVs and other stuff. I also use online pokedexes for checking a certain pokemon's location.

With most RPGs, I tend to use walkthrough because of missable items and stuff like that. The pokemon games are pretty straightforward, so I've never found a need to use one.

Its kinda required because catching/evolving pokemon is convoluted as hell.

I used one for Diamond...then I decided I wasn't getting the full worth of the game if I used the walkthrough and knew where everything was. So I restarted, and no walkthrough now.

I think I ended up using one because I was mashing the A button in Pearl and couldn't figure out where one of the grunts/Galactic Members had gone off too... But other than that, I don't use one.

Oh, and I did end up searching online about the Old Chateau thing. I for the life of me couldn't figure out where those ghosts were. Dl

Not in a Pokémon game, they are somewhat easy to figure out XD

But I have done it in other RPG's :\

Yeah, the internet sorta rendered walkthroughs pointless to me.

I've never used a walkthrough for a Pokémon game, and I don't think that I ever will. In my opinion, they are pretty easy, and I think it's better to figure out things for yourself, and it's more fun that way. I've used FAQs, but that's only for EV Training, IVs, and etcetera.

But I have used walkthroughs in other RPGs, not Pokémon though.
