Your SU looks good, so you're Accepted. You may post in IC at any time now, though I would suggest contacting DeLaMuerte to see how you guys want to approach your evaluation match.

Uhm... Evaluation match? c:

I thought that DeLaMuerte's character was going to battle someone else or did I miss something?

Well i am a fan of a good beatdown =P at least im not going to be screaming like the other girls aroudn the field =P

So Shion stomp his face on a rock =P

"Stomp his face on a rock."

Indigo seems to attract nothing but beatings from our player character females.

May the World of this RP have mercy on his soul.

@DarkMoonPhases: There is technically no open spots at this moment. Nakuzami has a reservation for the last spot until the weekend is over, so I would keep a watch on it to see. Two things I've already noticed, though, is that your character is over the age limit (17 is as old as it gets) and all three of your spells are essentially the same (the third one could literally do the first two). Spells are supposed to be creative and flavorful (meaning the really fit in the concept of that element), so think outside the box when designing them. If you have any questions feel free to PM or VM me about them.

@PinkSapphire: Right before the IC had been posted a random drawing was done to determine "Magic Evaluation Matches" for each character, but almost immediately after the drawing was done DeLaMuerte was accepted and you made your reserve. I asked him if he would rather wait for you to finish or face a teacher. Here is what he said:

Normally I'd say to be evaluated by a teacher, but since by doing that I'll be forcing Pink into an evaluation with a teacher as well, I'll just wait for her sign up.

In the meantime, I'll probably make a post to describe Mor- I mean, Sytano's first impressions.

So, you are both paired with each other for the battles that are about to start/already started, of course, that's only if you don't mind it.

@DuskLunacy: The Kristen Vale post is up, so you should be able to continue now. I would like to mention that you can bunny a Eric Long just be sure to run it by me first and don't add add spells to his arsenal (I've spent quite a bit of time in designing each one of the main teachers' spells, making sure that they all had spells matching their element, personality, and history/ethnicity, so having these modified would be displeasing).

@Crimson0191: I would like to note that you have two options at the moment in regard to your character's duel (maybe three depending on a couple of variables). The first is be paired up with a teacher, which I would most likely control, while the second is to wait a day or so and see what pans out for the SUs, since there is still one more person that has a reservation. Either option is fine with me, so it's your choice.

On a side note, the Shion and Indigo fight is looking good. Can't wait to see how it'll turn out, though it doesn't look good for Indigo.

I can go with a teacher, although someone will have to guide Toph considering shes scared and stuff. I'd be glad to dual today though.

Okay, that'll be good. Give me a few hours to decide on which teacher to pair up with her. I'll message you about how we should approach the duel, but it may take a bit today, since I'm going to a football(American) game. If you have any ideas you would like to share on the matter before hand you can PM or VM me them.

Hey, Aris won't beat him up. She might just immediately forget about him after talking to him.

Also, I probably need to figure out how to get Nicholas and Aris interacting. GoldenRayquaza? You got ideas?

I brought the two together by having a girl who (luckily) knows Aris pretty well show Nicholas where she was. Is that okay with you?

Sooo... im guessing that this rp is full?

Unfortunately, you are correct. If you'd like I could put your name on a list of reserves in the case someone drops or I open more slots, but for now it is full.

Sounds good please put me on that list if you could

Well, the long weekend is pretty much over, and since that was the deadline for Nakuzami's reservation, the spot is open. DarkMoonPhase you had first dibs on the open spot, and after reviewing your SU I've decided that you are accepted. I've already messaged Crimson in regards to you two being paired for evaluations. Can't wait to see what you two come up with.

Oh. Well, I actually wrote an SU, but then I ended up losing my flash drive that contained it. . . . Figures. -.-;

Since I have no hopes of finding it until I return to my father's house this weekend, and I don't really feel like re-writing it, someone can certainly take my empty spot. Guess it wasn't meant to be. Good luck with it all, though.

Thanks and sorry, Nakuzami! Like I told ChiliDawgs, I can put your name on a reserve list for future spots. By any chance would you mind telling what element you were going to choose?

Oh. Didn't I do so with my initial reservation? Hmm. Well, regardless, I was planning on making my character start with aeromancy. She was probably going to study most, if not all, of the elements though.

Oh yeah, Colony, can you learn all of the elements? I didn't really see anything against it, but in theory it could be a little excessive I suppose.

Through the various lessons and extracurricular activities you will be allowed to gain new spells and elements. You decide whether or not your character can learn more than one element, but the more elements a character has the less they can "master" an element. In other words a character that dedicates their magic to one element will be stronger in that element than a person who knows two, and the person who knows two elements will be stronger at their elements than a person who knows three, so on and so on. That isn't to say that a person who knows more elements is weaker, since the more elements a person knows the better rounded they will be against other characters. Additionally, a character that knows a certain combination of elements (there are multiple) can learn special mutations of their magic that are stronger than basic elemental magic.

Thought I'd answer your question while strolling back through the thread. d:

So, yeah, basically more elements = more versatility but less power in each element.
