Vegetarians

So long as you're not of the overly condescending and pretentious variety, I don't care if you're a vegetarian. XD

I love me my meat though, so I can't see myself becoming a vegetarian anytime soon. XD

I kinda agree with the guys above, I wouldn't want to become a vegetarian, but I respect those who are.
I love my meat and some fish.

Vegetarians are usually pretty cool, it's those nasty vegans you've got to look out for. They'll remove all your teeth so you're only able to eat mushy peas for the rest of your life.

I'm a vegetarian. Don't really care what anyone else does as long as they aren't preachy about it. I've seen vegetarians talk down to pescetarians and vegans talk down to vegetarians. It's just a personal choice and should remain that way; in most situations it's wrong to push your beliefs onto somebody else.

And I get plenty of meat eaters talking down to me, it's pretty much expected that when I tell somebody I'll get a "Why on earth are you a vegetarian!?!?" and half the time they'll go further and tell me that I'm in the wrong for some obscure reason.

To each his own is my stand on it. I don't mind them as long as they respect my wishes to consume what I want to eat. It's when they start getting pushy that I start having issues with them.

Vegans have superpowers.

My friend recently got in a huge fight over Facebook about vegetarianism, actually, which I couldn't really take sides on but I thought was interesting. He was claiming that part of every meal he eats is some kind of meat. Because of that, he goes out and buys specific food items when a vegetarian comes over. Likewise, he thinks that a vegetarian should have no problem going out and buying meat for when he comes over.

This was promptly shut down by a vegetarian who told him that his choice to eat meat in every meal wasn't as important as her choice not to eat meat in every meal. :x

A fair few of my friends are veggies. Some for religious reasons (they're Hindus), some for protest reasons, and some just because they don't want to eat meat. None of them are in-your-face about it and all have a sense of humour when I try and shove bacon sandwiches in front of their noses. If anything, I'm the horrible douchebag trying to convince them to eat meat, rather than the other way around... So, veggies are all right in my book. At least the ones I've met so far.

We're a crazy bunch. We say no to eating animals, but we gladly kill trees, plants for our own selfish purposes. We're monsters.
So how could we survive without being, in your view, "monsters"? As far as I know, it is not nutritionally feasible to live on food which does not require killing, nor is it natural.

Anyway I know a couple of vegetarians, but I'm not one myself. The slaughter of animals won't be stopped any time soon by vegetarians and I don't take issue with eating meat anyway. It's nice if that meat was a happy animal during its life, though.

As for opinions on vegetarians, meh. Some of them are cool but you always have those ones that can't get off their moral high horse during meals and keep giving you a sort of patronising "you should know better and you have my disapproval" look every few seconds. It's really annoying.

I honestly don't know how you guys do it. It muffles my brain. But good on you, save our animals, etc! :)

Be, I looooveee meat. I can't do without it <333

I tried to be a vegetarian at one point... but I just couldn't do it. There's no way I could survive if I stopped eating meat.

I'm cool with vegetarians. It's their choice, and I'm not going to judge them for it.

I like meat too much to become one, though. Although lately I find I don't eat much meat anyway, at least not as much as I did as a kid. It's just how I've been eating at home and at work lately. It's probably for the better.

I'm a semi-vegetarian IRL. I tend to stay away from anything beef. I haven't ate a beefy hamburger in almost 4 years. It's only fish and chicken (and sometimes turkey) in my diet.

I have a friend who's Vegan, oh my goodness... it was crazy. :|

I've been a vegetarian for 14 years of my life, and I can say it wasn't that bad, or wasn't that good. I eat meat now, and imo, eating meat is better, it helps you gain protein you wouldn't get from the same amount of plants.

I don't think I can ever be a vegetarian. I need meat. I'm a no-good carnivore! If a vegetarian got a burger and I got a salad, I wouldn't mind proposing a trade so both of us can eat happily.

Vegetarians do it with relish

I've been a vegetarian for so long now that I don't even recognize meat as food at first glance. I have to think about it for a moment.

This was promptly shut down by a vegetarian who told him that his choice to eat meat in every meal wasn't as important as her choice not to eat meat in every meal. :x
That's how I feel about it. A meat-eater isn't loosing out on anything by not having meat for one meal unless they're on some kind of special diet that requires meat with every meal. So in that sense it's just like having a simple food preference and when someone else is making food for you, as long as it's not against some belief you hold, you eat it graciously like a guest should whether it's what you'd prefer or not. I mean, if someone invited me over for dinner I wouldn't say "Okay, but I won't come unless you serve rice pilaf because that's my favorite."

If you're a vegetarian, then good for you. Like it's been said, it's a matter of choice, usually, and that's fine. I don't think it's right for people to be talking down to someone for their food choice though. I mean Lord. We talk down to people for everything these days don't we? Well, we always have. But still. Give the veggie hate a rest plz.

As for me, I could never be a vegetarian. I enjoy meat too much. However, KFC chicken scares me...if that helps.
