    Do you listen to it outside of the games themselves? If so, what is you favourite game/piece?

    I never really did this, then i tried listening to the FFVII soundtrack without the game and realised that its fricking sweet :O
     
    KH2 soundtrack, Persona 3-4 soundtrack, and tha FFX soundtrack I own.

    So, yeah, VG music isn't so bad. It's pretty cool.
     
    Games by Square Enix tend to have awesome soundtracks. My favorites are KH and TWEWY.
     
    I absolutely adore the Golden Sun soundtrack. I listen to it for pleasure.

    Er... I've also recently fallen in love with Suikoden: Tierkreis's soundrack lately. Grayridge is so simple, and yet... (there's actually a ton of songs from that game that are great as well).
     
    Hey, I own the LoZ Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask OSTs, and the Sonic Heroes OST. And I want the Riviera, Yggdra Union, and Wind Waker OSTs. Do I sound like someone who doesn't like listening to video game music? XD

    In fact, I'm doing it right now so I can find something perfect for my sig~
     
    I'm starting to enjoy listening to the HAWX waiting music. It sounds kind of... Futuristic? I don't know, lol.
     
    I like. Nothing more to be said, but Phoenix Wright's soundtrack is awesome. =P
     
    Advance Wars CO themes. Andy's got that upbeat-feel to it, and Hawke's is just so sinister and foreboding...

    Also, MGS soundtrack. Encounter? Best is yet to come? Old Snake? Check, check, and check.

    And a ton of others, Chrono series and FF series are most notable.
     
    I listen to the soundtracks from Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Soul Reaver, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
    I would have to say the Chaos Theory soundtrack by Amon Tobin is the best by far.
     
    I have the OST for The World Ends With You and I also have a free CD from a magazine I got years ago that had the music from Super Smash Bros. Melee performed live by the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. =3
     
    Wow, another one sided poll. That is a good thing, but there is a chance that moderators will lock this thread. But yeah, I love video game music. I missed that Jet Set Radio Future game with their own exclusive music.
     
    Most of my music is from games. I've even managed to get the Treasures of the Deep soundtrack; Safe Passage is a bit like the Crimson Tide theme, but it's not overused and is actually better.
     
    Yes, I like game music, but I usually prefer anime music. My favorite musical scores are the ones for OoT, Golden Sun, and all of the Final Fantasy games. Starcraft also has some good music, especially the Terran themes and Radio Free Zerg.

    I have the OST CDs for MGS, MGS3 and MGS4
    I also have half the sound track for MGS:ops and MGS:2

    I have the OST for FFVI too. And IX
     
    I would say that Resident Evil 5 has some good music that fits well into the game and universe.

    Fallout 3's old music works well with the game too, it's kinda creepy to hear old songs playing in an apocalyptic setting. Same with Bioshock. The creepiness works well with classic music.
