Much akin to last year's trivia, myself and Juno will be hosting a series of trivia questions throughout the GT. I think our format last year worked really well, where we split the questions between us and had the teams come up with the answers. With some planning this year I think we can get some more questions and interesting rounds out!
Regarding how it will potentially run:
First day: Bumper general VG trivia quiz covering several genres/areas, points are awarded based on how many correct answers the team gets.
Questions are posted as close to the beginning of the day as possible, these will be 4-8 questions that will fit around a theme/genre. Points awarded again for however many the team get right, along with bonus points for either the highest score or the fastest team to score 100%.
During the second half of the GT, things will get a bit harder and higher in volume, we can introduce things like picture/music/double point rounds.
Points by the way aren't GT points but points accumulated in this quiz, with the highest total then being awarded the Z-Crystal at the end. An issue we kinda had also was the way teams were submitting and basically smashing through answers until they got it all right, so I'd like to give each time three attempts to submit their answers, with the last set being their final submission regardless of it scored more or less than the other two.
