Well, the point is to get to people to spend money on the DVD.. which is less likely to happen if the episodes air before it's release.

Are you serious? If this was case, then why would shows air on television in the first place?
 
I wish other Anime will come out over here, most I like I have to search for subbed ones because they are Japan only release, or if it does come out over here it's not on television and I have to pay $40 just to watch a show I want to. Naruto isn't even that good of a show.
 
I misread this and thought it meant they were dubbing it with new voice actors. I don't like the current English dub (couldn't stomach more than a few episodes), so I might have watched that.
 
Yo The Mega Champion. Your attitude stinks. Stop censor bypassing and just whining about EVERYTHING. Just be happy you're getting your series. You want to know they're releasing it on DVD: anime is a business and they intend to make money off of it. Everything done is a business decision. Sure, they want their fans to enjoy the series, but they want to enjoy it enough to spend money on it. It's how the world works.

And acfan17, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

I don't understand how most of you anime fans can't have any discussion without insulting each other. Grow up. ~_~
 
Naruto Shippuden...from the original series, it's going to be different. New voice actors and translations, I want to see how it will pull off.

Everyone should stop arguing about which is better - Subbed or Dubbed - and wait to see how the new voice actors do.

IMO, I think it may turn out well. One of the projects I'm looking forward to this year.

It still doesn't make since to not show the episodes until the DVD comes out. Not only is that BS... it make no sense whatsoever.

As of right now... CN has always shown the Naruto episodes before it's DVD box set releases.

I'm sorry... but... it still doesn't make sense as to why they would wait until the DVD comes out to show the episodes. They've always shown the episodes before the DVD releases until now. Why do it any differently?

For people that want to get a "preview" of an anime to decide whether or not to buy it?

You could always DOWNLOAD anime (TV Rips, Web Rips, and/or DVD Rips) for FREE via Direct Downloading (MegaUpload, RapidShare, etc), Torrenting, and/or IRC/XDCC Bots.

It'll air again. But the fillers airing in the US were a major put off, everyone stopped watching it. If they start Shippuuden on AS I'll be extremely happy.

Even though they have already watched everything on the DVD on teletision.

As for why I believe CN won't air it again? They've done this before, that's why.

DVDs tend to give out better quality for episodes though, not to mention the episodes being uncut, unedited, and uncensored on DVDs.
