I'm assuming this is like the last one where we're able to vote for 2? Dawn, then Hilda for me.

I suppose for the final it makes more sense to just have people vote for the one they like the most rather than multiple...

This was very close! I didn't expect this outcome.

On the forum, it was a tie for first between Serena and Wes. Dawn was only two votes behind. Hilda was a further 6 behind her - a change of fortune when she had just lost to Red overall after winning in the forum poll.

On Twitter, it was another tie for first - between Dawn and Serena! Wes was two votes behind, and Hilda one more behind him. That meant, going into the low-turnout Google form, Serena had the lead by 2 over both Dawn and Wes.

Dawn won the Google form poll by 1 vote. That qualified her. What happened to second place then? Well, to make it fun (?), it's in the spoiler...

Serena by 1 vote! Wes only had one vote over her - not enough to force a three-way tie. That's right: both Dawn and Serena had the same number of votes overall, and Wes was just one short! A good effort though, and he even beat Hilda.

I kinda doubt anyone would get 50% seeing everyone in the final is popular. I'm wary of extending things beyond too much with poll after poll and would rather keep things mostly consistent to how we started, although if there's a strong demand for run-off poills where last place is dropped, we go again for the top 3, etc, then it'll be considered. Maybe next time we do such things, we can see if there are plugins that allow for more varied voting... but it does also go against what is available on Twitter, and hopefully in the future what will be available on bluesky.
