"You'll never be able to defeat the Humans! Your Commander is already dead!" the man yelled.

Silence limped over to where the HR commander was hanging onto the roof. As much as she wanted to kill him she knew she couldn't. He would probably be wanted for questioning. So she grabbed one of his arms with her claws than curled her other hand into a fist and punched him in the head to knock him out. His weight almost dragged her over the edge but she grabbed the railing and slowly managed to drag them both up onto the roof. She sat there panting for a moment than dragged the man through the open door, this time making sure it was securely shut and locked. The Weavile took any weapons or other devices she found on him and dumped them in a corner on the other side of the room. This left her free to go to the intercom and put in the code for the General Khufu's radio.

"General, this is Silence Quickslash. I've just captured the commander of the Human Republic and currently have him on the top floor unconscious and have removed all weapons and device. Awaiting your orders, sir," she said into the speaker than leaned back against the wall clutching her side as blood dripped from her fur to await an answer.

With my binoculars I took a closer glance at the building, working down- Whoa. I saw a Weavile beating the Parachutist into submission, then knocking him out and dragging him into a closet. Oh no, who knows what they're going to do with him. I squeamed at the mental image. I'm practically the only one who can save him! What do I do!? The Weavile leaned against the wall. I need some disguise. Unfortunately the only one I found amongst the debris was a "you must be this tall to ride" cardboard stand up of a Machoke, it's arm held up at the height. It will have to do. I crossed through the street to the back door in the face of almost certain death, hiding behind the standup whenever I thought the Weavile would turn around.

Wade waved his front paw before Lydia's face, since she was dreaming for a few seconds. Her eyes were still and lifeless for a while there, and Wade was worried. Maybe she was just thinking about something in the past. But to make sure she was okay, he nudges her with his little snout and stood close to her in case she needed him.

Walking through the alleys was actually easier and less dangerous than walking on the big streets - the chance of being discovered was a minimum. The alleys were dark and lacked lighting, however, so Wade didn't really feel safe around here. But he knew Lydia was next to him so he was much calmer than usual. They had no idea that the sniper was still locking onto them, however.

They were close to the main entrance now, and Wade stopped, "Let's dig." Look at the ground, finding a patch of soft soil, he started to dig into the ground. But just then, the sniper was reaching for his trigger....

(OOC) doh! Lucario, I posted this then figured out you posted your comment! sonofa*****...

Althalos received his orders. '"This is gonna be kinda hard not to kill em both, but what ever. Aim for the middle and hope for the best." Althalos leveled his scope and aimed at the space right between the two pokemon. He checked to make sure the silencer was on the barrel and when he saw that they were digging, he scoped them quickly and curled his finger around the trigger, then fired. Withing a few seconds, the incendiary round exploded at the feet of the Umbreon on the left, sending both pokemon flying into the air. He turned off the infrared so he could see what was happening and found that both pkemon were laying on the ground. He slung the sniper over his back and looked for a way to get down there quickly. He grabbed a tarp and used as a parachute to get to the ground. Althalos sprinted as fast as possible to the two pokemon. He made it to where they were laying, motionless. He picked up the shiny one and left the other one in the fires, but then turned back. He picked up the other one and ran to another alley where he set her down. He pulled out his sniper and pulled out the napalm clip and put in a standard one. he aimed it at the shiny ones head and looked at the one laying down on the ground. "If you're awake, I know you can understand me, so just to let you know, I'm letting you live against direct orders, and that's the only reason I have to kill you, but you didn't do anything to me and I have nothing against you so you can live." Althalos looked around and plucked a rawst berry from a nearby bush and set it next to the burnt umbreon, and picked another to take with him for the shiny one. "Now, if you make a move on me, I'll put a bullet through this ones head, which would also be in direct violation of my orders, so it's a win-lose-win situation no matter what happens." Althalos backed away from the clearing, holding the shiny Umbreon in his arms, still with the sniper barrel pointed to it's head and stayed that way until he made it to the outskirts of the base. He turned around, ran to the doors, saluting the guards as he ran in. He walked to the interrogation room, mashed up the rawst berry and rubbed it on the shiny Umbreon's burns. He chained the pokemon up and set him on a gurney that was nearby and calle din some guards. He radioed the commander with news that he had captured the shiny Umbreon and had him in custody. Then, he waited for him to move.

( Their both shiny, just saying...so... >:3 I hope you don't mind if I mix this up a bit )

She opened her eyes. It had all happened so fast, and suddenly she found herself in a small room. Her rings glowed. There were humans surrounding her and the environment was un-comfortable. It was cold, and she couldn't move with all of the chains around her. She also felt pain on her body. Burns. Lydia knew something was wrong, and she didn't see nor sense Wade around. She was going to panic, but she knew she was here for a reason. It would help if she knew where she was though, so she asked just that.

"Where am I, and who are you?" The shiny umbreon asked politely, looking up at what seemed to be a more darker individual. He had a gun, which made her shiver. D*mn those instruments.

Where Wade was, she didn't know. She just hoped he was safe.

(FFFFFUUUUUUUU-! XD How inconvenient... Why am I not aloud to kill other RPers?! D: )

"Where am I, and who are you?" The Umbreon asked. Althalos looked somewhat shocked and more or less annoyed. "I grabbed the wrong damned Umbreon..." He was now regretting not shooting the other one like in his orders. "This is only a minor inconvenience though, since you're obviously a spy too." He motioned for the guards to leave. "Well, they're obviously not needed, though I don't under estimate you." Althalos said and pulled out his sniper, turning on the flamethrower attachment. "I healed your burns as best I could, and I'm not afraid to burn you to a crisp if I must, and I healed your friend too, since I thought you were him and I have no quarrel with you." Althalos just sat there for a moment. "Now, what information were you here for? And please be specific, because, despite my orders, you're the one in custody and also the one I was told to kill, so please cooperate, or I will kill you." Althalos put on a genuine smile and aimed the flame thrower at the pokemons head.

( Because that's mean...? D: *cough*butsurprisinglyconvenient*cough* )

She grinned widely. Immediately she transformed into Vaporeon, spraying him with water. It didn't hurt the man, but the flamethrower had been ruined. She glowed with a red light, and transformed into her regular form. Her chains were now loose enough for her to get out with ease, but she didn't move.

"I won't talk! Besides, I don't know anything. But try to kill me and I make this room blow up." Her eyes glowed a brilliant red with satisfaction. What were the humans thinking, trying to restrain her? She wouldn't fight them, but in all honesty she had forgot what information they were suppose to bring back. Lydia was following Wade, and he knew everything. It was too bad, because the humans were left with close to nothing.

"Thanks for the berries though. I'm sure my partner will find good use of his", she added on. Was she committing possible suicide she didn't know. But Lydia knew she was pushing her luck.

"We were just instructed to check out the clearing. One of your kind shot me. Thats why I killed-" She stopped abruptly. Did they know she took out those men?

The water gun hit Althalos in the face, but it actually relieved him. "Thanks, being in that fire made me hot." Althalos truthfully wasn't surprised that The pokemon wasn't actually an Umbreon. He knew better than to actually trust a pokemon, and this one had felt lighter than a standard Umbreon when he picked her up. "I also hope you know, that I could care less that my flamethrower doesn't work, this is one of the highest quality snipers ever made, so it's water proof, and has enough fire power to stop a Rhyperior dead in it's tacks." He just cocked the rifle and aimed it at the head of the Zorua. Then, when she said she had killed, Althalos still wasn't surprised, but she seemed shocked at herself. "You've never really killed anyone before tonight, have you?" Althalos almost felt bad for her, killing wasn't the most fun thing in the world. Althalos stood up and undid the chains, for no reason though since she could obviously get out herself since she was small enough. "Lets just talk. How does that sound?" Althalos lowered his rifle and sat back down. "Even if you killed some of those men, you still had the help of the real Umbreon, didn't you? If not, you obviusly have power, probably some you don't even know about."

"Oh, yeah. High tech guns totally turn me on". She replied, this time with a smaller smile. "And sure, you could say this was my first time. But please, don't take it the wrong way. I don't like it."

The human said he wanted to talk, and that she could work with, even if this wasn't the best situation for some friendly chat. She just wanted to know where Wade was. Probably all confused like she was, then again maybe he had left her...? Yet, she had to focus her mind on what was happening in front of her. The chains were taken off, and she didn't feel as restrained anymore. Lydia laid down, still smiling, but in a more friendly manner.

The humans interested her. She use to live with them, but never got to know them. All of that time she would steal whatever she could get her paws on and rush to get away before they beat her. Now the Zorua had her chance to collect her own information.

"Yes I had help. I'm not too powerful, but you guys just make me angry". She frowned. "I've heard a lot of stories about pokemon being abused by your kind. Whats your defense?"

(I feel like we're hogging the RP... >.<)

"Whats my defense?! Well, I know, yes, many people mistreated their pokemon, but I for one, loved and cared about my Typhlosion, my only pokemon. I never did anything to harm him. I loved him like a brother, and my family, they loved him too. You know what he did? He killed all of them. He didn't even let my new born sister live. I don't know why I'm still alive. That's my defense." Althalos said angrily. He habitually unloaded the sniper and reloaded it again and again. "You have no idea what I went through, due to my best friend. I get the feeing he's with you in the PR now." Althalos felt a burning on his chest and looked at the small flame in the ball. It had heated up considerably. He ripped it off his neck and threw it on the grund, but the glass didn't shatter and the lame didn't even angle upwards, it stayed facing the same direction as the top of the necklace. Althalos stared at it, mesmerized.

(I know me too. >: ehhhh...)

Lydia didn't know what to say. She'd never heard of a potentially bad pokemon before. The Zorua could tell why he'd be feeling quite vengeful after that experience, but did that give him permission to kill the pokemon population? Lydia didn't like killing humans, ever. It wasn't that she wasn't use to it. It was that they all had feelings. Emotions, stories...families. Humans were real. Yet, they didn't have the right to steal away pokemon's lives. All those years, she fought to protect her family. She never got any appreciation for her deeds. She never needed it. Same with the other pokemon. All of them were used. The Typhlosion must have acted that was for some reason.

"I'm sorry, then. I don't know about pokemon like that. As for my side, I grew up supporting a family of 6 including myself. Our original caretaker was a breeder, looking for a genetic mishap in our pokemon DNA which makes us irregularly colored. We were deemed un-special because our appearance wasn't different, me and my brothers. She threw us out on the streets, literally leaving us to die without any sense of remorse or regret. I would steal whatever I needed only because no one else cared about us. None of you did. We're all pests in your eyes, but I've never viewed you like that. I fight only to protect my friends, or myself. Still I find you people aiming guns at whatever creature you see."

She changed the subject rather quickly, including her expressions which went from upset to calm. "So, when can I leave?"

Althalos woke from his trance when the Zorua started talking. "You're acting like I enjoy killing. I aim my gun because I respect my superiors." Althalos replied quite simply. "I don't always like my orders, and I don't always follow them. I had no reason to kill you, thus the reason I let your friend live, because I thought you were him." Althalos thought about her words for a second more. "And I don't see pokemon as pests, I see certain ones as abominations. If I get my chance and am able to kill that blasted Typhlosion, I swear, you as my witness, I would never kill again. I wouldnt leave the republic in fear for my own safety though. Now about you leaving... I wish I could." Althalos said sincerely. "If I did that, I would be shot for treason, and I am forever loyal, but I have my own strings attached. Just like you fight to protect yourself and your friends, I follow orders to protect myself and if any of my family and friends were alive, them." Althalos nodded in sad agreement with his own words. He looked down at the little necklace with the strange fire in it and bent over half way to pick it up, but stood up again and looked at it with disgust. "Stupid thing reminds me of him... Do me a favor, would you, and destroy that if my gun can't." He looked at the Zorua, then aimed his sniper at it, point blank, the barrel touching the glass and pulled the trigger. He heard the bang and the barrel of the gun ripped itself apart. "Well that's inconvenient. At least a barrel can be replaced." Althalos muttered and looked at what he was hoping to be shards of glass, but it was still completely intact. He picked it up and set it next to the small pokemon. "Well, it's your turn. I'll make sure you don't get tortured to badly. Just please, trying to get out is a suicide mission, even if your friend manages to help you. we dont exactly want a mess of swiss cheese Zorua and Umbreon on the wall of our building due to you being seen by the apache we have flying around." He finished and left the room, just as a guard rushed in to see why he had fired. Althalos waved him off and continued on his way, leaving the Zorua and the small glass ball alone in the room.

"Good bye?" the little Zorua barked.

As she watched the man leave, she realized she had failed to catch his name, in case it was of any importance to Wade. Still, Lydia was tired, and was worn out from the long day. She returned her eyes to the odd ball, staring inside of it, intrigued by the flame. She lightly picked it up with her paw. It was warm and unique. The human had asked her to destroy it, but instead she tucked it safely inside her mane as a reminder of her first 'mission'.

The Zorua started looking around the room. She was alone now, and she hated being alone, but there was simply nothing she could do. She admitted, it was fun talking to the stranger. Lydia had learned a lot, and could possibly view things from a more complex perspective now. And although the man had told her not to try to escape, she wanted to. She though about transforming into a Steelix and possibly burst through the roof, but then what?

Lydia scratched that idea from her mind. Instead, she ran up to the door and pounded on it, whining that she was hungry.

"C'mon Lydia let's dig-" Wade was about to pull her into his little hole but then there was a loud bang, and Wade felt pain running all over his body. Images flashed before his eyes, and he thought he was going to die, but he didn't have time to think, or react. The loud explosion sent him flying, and as he tumbled onto the ground with a loud crash, he blacked out. Again.

Why are you so weak, Wade? You've passed out twice in an hour. You were faster and more alert in the past. What happened to you?! Did your companion change you?! Letting your heart melt ain't right, Wade. You'll be weak, you'll save people before saving yourself-

"Wha?!" Wade shot up, coming back to his senses. He looked around, but found nobody nearby. Everybody was gone, even Lydia. The voice was...familiar, but it didn't ring a bell. What did the voice say again? You'll be weak, you'll save people before saving yourself- Wade blinked. Maybe the voice was right. The old Wade was stronger, and there was nothing that could stop him. But now, his...warmer personality has taken over.

Lydia was still nowhere to be seen. "Lydia?!" Wade shouted, his voice echoing around, but he heard no response. Then when he was about to move, he screamed in pain. He looked at his left leg, and found it badly burnt. But then he saw a berry placed next to him. A rawst berry. Picking it up and nibbling it, he felt a surge of energy inside him once again. But who gave him the berry? During his unconsciousness, he couldn't hear anything. And that led to the question once again - Where's Lydia?

Getting up to his feet once the effect of the rawst berry had started to work, he jumped into the hole he dug and continued to dig, heading towards the Base from below. "I'm coming, Lydia."

Why are you so weak, Wade? You've passed out twice in an hour-

"WHO ARE YOU?!" Wade roared, turning around. But nobody was there. When he was thinking who this voice belonged to, his eyes widened. It was his. Wade's.

(This is my last good post today (it's 11:00 pm for me)

Althalos was barely 20 feet from the door when there was small pounding from the inside. He turned back and saw that he guards had decided to change shifts and that there was nobody there, except the guard who had come into the room to see what the noise was, and he had just rounded the corner when Althalos had comletely turned around. "Oh indeed..." Althalos muttered and went to the small intercom button next to the door into the room. "Yes?" He asked, irritadely. He heard a call for food. "Food you say? I can get that for you." Althalos answered. Do you see that little button next to the door, turn it to channel 245 and then you can tell me what you want." Althalos said and then looked around for a sheet of paper. He found a sticky note and wrote "dangerous prisoner, nobody enter without someone of higher rank" and stuck it to the door. He then walked away, waiting for the Zorua to talk to him over the ear piece.

Lydia looked around for a button. She was never too great at finding things, but thankfully there wasn't much in the room. The Zorua ran over to the button. Great, more human technology. She turned the dial over to 245. Her stomach was beginning to hurt. She didn't remember the last time she ate.

"Hi, I'd like a bag of Pecha Berries to go. Better hurry up". She turned the dial back to 0.

Lydia began to charge up quietly with Nasty Plot. Not as if she had a real plan, but her psychotic, devilish Zorua nature was coming into play. She used the room to hold in her power, and soon her eyes were lighting up. She transformed, and- boom.

Her weight and body caused a lot of destruction. There was now a hole in the ceiling, and guards were rushing through the door into her room. Too bad though, since she didn't have time to play. Lydia smiled, transforming back to normal size and making her way out of the structure. She jumped out, and as she fell, was shot in the side. Again. Now, she was literally falling. And bleeding.

The Zorua landed on a tree, branches scraping her face and smacking her all over, until she hit the ground with a loud 'thud'. She immediately put pressure on her side, which had been cut from a bullet. The bullet didn't go into her, but had cut through her flesh. It hurt much more than the bullet that had originally got her in the leg, but she knew this one wasn't going to be too serious as long as it stopped bleeding. Lydia began digging underground to hide herself. Although not the most smart idea it was all she had. Her stomach growled. She should have stayed inside.

( PS: Lydia can transform into a Steelix, all Eeveelutions, Pidgeot, a human, or anything she sees. That's it. )

Silence was still waiting for an answer when she realized that the human could wake up at any time now. Seeing as she didn't have anything to tie him up with she used a weak blizzard to freeze him, only leaving his head uncovered so he could breath. She was about to go back to waiting by the intercom when she heard a crackling from the pile of items she had dumped in the corner. Using the wall for support she made her way over to see what it was. The sound was coming from the radio sitting on top of the pile. Whoever it was that was speaking had apparently taken care of the spies Khufu had sent to Sunnyshore.

"He's not gonna a like this," she muttered to herself.

I successfully got into the building. I did it! Woo! Then the "almost certain death" thing popped into my head. oh yeah, still got that to worry about. I dropped the stand up, which fell to the ground in a very loud "PLOP!" sound when it landed. Oh crap. They're going to notice that. I dashed into the building as fast as I could.

If the architecture was ominous back outside, it was even worse inside. It was like someone had designed the building to scare people!. it was almost to monolithic and grey to bear. The rooms all served some purpose I couldn't tell, probably because I was scared out of my mind about this. Fortunately the place was in chaos, so I had a somewhat easy time going through the first few floors. I have a very bad felling about this...

1,000 Views, everybody :) give yourself a big hug! thanks for joining this RP, everything's going fine right now! Keep up the good work and we might stand a chance in the RPAs July! - Aura.Lucario

The Shiny Umbreon continued to dig underground, his front paws slashing everything in his path. He could feel that he was nearer now, as there were vibrations up there. Vibrations? Maybe there were some machines up there that he hadn't discovered yet. Lydia was probably captured when he was unconscious, and with that thought, Wade continued to burrow through the soft ground determined to retrieve his partner.

He heard a 'clang' as he his claws bumped into something hard, and he yelped in pain as he tried smashing it apart. It was made of metal, and his paws were swelling now. Quickly regretting what he did a few seconds earlier, he made a ninety-degree turn, to find another opening that didn't have any metal plates blocking the way.

There was nothing to see down there. Rocks, worms, some Diglett, nothing too special. There weren't fossils or jewels down there. There was an awful stench though, as if a lot of dead bodies had been buried here. Anxious to get out of the smelly area, he dug quicker, as fast as he paws could move in a motor-like action. Then his paws touched something soft and warm. Gently pushing the soil aside, he saw a Pokemon. He saw Lydia. In the ground? Hiding?

"L-Lydia!" Wade cried, crawling towards her underground hole and cuddled her, but then he stopped as he saw her wound, "Great. You're hurt again." Raising his paw, he tried healing her once again with Moonlight. The wound was surrounded by a mysterious bright light, and the wound bleeding wasn't as serious as before. But the Moonlight, it wasn't really effective down here. Her wound was still there.

"Where the heck did you go." Wade spoke, glancing at her from top to bottom, seeing if there were any wounds left untreated, "What happened? Tell me about it."

As Wade waited for her to speak, he touched the walls of the holes to see if there were any metal plates blocking his entrance to the Base from below. There weren't. This was a good spot, "Hm...I think I can dig into the base from here."

"Pecha berries to go? Aww what the hell!?" Then, he was shaken by the explosion coming from the interrogation room. He ran in to see what what was happening, quickly followed by the guards who had just arrived from the shift change. He grabbed an assault rifle from one of them and started shooting, managing to graze the Zorua's side. "You, give me an extra few clips and some grenades." He pointed to another guard and he quickly pocketed the clips and clipped the grenades to his belt. He ordered two other guards to follow him and sprinted outside. He searched the general area around the HQ and checked where he had left the Umbreon he had actually needed, the only thing left were pieces of Rawst berry and a hole. He took out a grenade, pulling the pin as it came off his jeans and tossed it into the hole. Althalos heard it roll around a little and then it exploded closer to the base. The damned Umbreon was trying to make into the base by digging! He wouldn't make it very far though, ALthalos was almost positive those burns, even if he had eaten the rawst berry, would at least inhibit him. Althalos did the same process with the grenades until he and both the guards ran out, and by that time, they were practically to the HQ. Althalos pulled out his radio and called in the genreal. "I'll be surprised if you didn't know, but just in case, we have a breach in the building itself, a large hole, and both spies are still trying to enter the HQ. My humble request is that you put all guards on a red alert and you might want to get that apache in the air right about now." Althalos put away his radio and looked at the hole, which was crumbling further away from the blast. "Well, no time for shovels, lets start digging." Althalos said and dug his hands into the dirt. As Althalos soon found out, the dirt around the base was sadly soft, and he and the two guards were able to follow the path of the hole pretty quickly. Soon they came to a quieter area and a large tree nearby the HQ that had a lot of broken branches on the ground next to it. Althalos stopped digging and ordered the men to be on their guard for any softer areas of soil where it might cave in and give away the pokemons position. After walking around a little bit, he felt an indent in the dirt. He didn't tell the guards but ordered them to go search else where while he went to search by the front of the building. Althalos acted like he was going to leave, but when the guards actually did, he turned around and walked as silently as he could, avoiding the indent, and sat at the base of the tree trunk and just stared at the indent, waiting for something to move, anything.
