"Lydia, is that what you're hiding? I don't care if you saved him, since even if you didn't, he's strong enough to survive by himself, but that's not the point. He saved your life, and you were just repaying the favor. You have a heart Lydia."

He was so sweet. She was glad he understood, and made a small sigh of relief. Lydia couldn't stay mad at him, ever. He always seemed to have some sort off a spell on her, and she couldn't pull away, nor wanted to. The umbreon also mentioned his job as a spy, which made sense when explained. She was soft, and though could be violent at times, could possibly perhaps be more violent? It was difficult focusing on her duties when lives were at stake. Lydia couldn't imagine becoming a killer, but she assumed Wade was use to it, as he had every right to be.

By now the two had snuggled closer to eachother, and Wade nuzzled her gently. "But next time, we're fighting together, okay, Lydia?"

"Of course, Wade. I'll keep going as long as you do."

She closed her eyes and laid her head against the umbreon's fur. The little pokemon could finally relax. She felt safe as long as she was with him.

"Of course, Wade. I'll keep going as long as you do." Lydia replied, and Wade's heart melted instantly. He was somehow attached to her voice, her personality, her everything, and he didn't want to let go of her anymore. They were in love, and nothing was going to separate them, nothing. The whole battlefield was silent right now, and he felt peaceful in the inside - something he couldn't feel without her here.

But Wade knew that resting here was dangerous, and he slowly carried her, placing her onto his back as he searched for a little corner for them to rest. The soldiers' guards were down as nothing was happening, but the PR was going to come soon, and he had no idea about the outcome of the battle.

He found a little alley and ran into it, evading some patrolling soldiers on the way. Lydia didn't even bulge, so she was probably asleep. Wade found a large cardboard box and went inside, placing Lydia next to him gently as they hid inside. Lydia's head leaned onto his fur, giving him comfort, and before he could say goodnight, he was sound asleep.

Elixa

Abandoned Streets

If Elixa was sure of one thing, it was that this was most definitely not going to be easy. She'd originally joined the order to avenge her mother's death, and that was still her main purpose. But now, she held a grudge. She held a personal grudge to the Pikachu that was following her and had actually succeeded in shocking her once. It's "CHUUUU!" sounds came one directly after the other, a sure sign that he wasn't giving up any time soon.

As she continued running through the streets of Jubilife, her destination being the HR Base, she knew without a doubt in her mind that she was going to have to get rid of the damn thing sooner rather than later. Because if she didn't, HR Security would. From what she heard about the place, they had men lining the gates on all four sides in sniper towers sniping the poor creatures. She mentally snickered. Poor creatures. Though Elixa held grudges against the Pokemon that had attacked her personal life, she had nothing against the others. Especially the members. They were just following orders, like she was. Whatever it takes to get revenge. She always said to herself, even if it meant turning around and throwing her knife square in this little guy's chest.

"CHUUUU!" This snapped her out of her thoughts as the resulting lightning bolt struck the ground close beside her. She stopped in her tracks, turning to face the small Pikachu, who also stopped running.

It turned it's head quizzically to the side, a begrudging look still on it's face. "Pika?" It sounded like an attempt at mocking her, but it couldn't do that too well considering it was a Pokemon and she was not.

"I know you little imbeciles can understand English," she started, glaring at the furry yellow creature. "So listen. I don't do this often, but if I were you, I'd run. Because if you don't," she stopped, smirking a cold, dangerous smirk. "I won't hesitate to kill you." she finished, her voice dropping so low that only she and the determined Pokemon could hear her. Of course, they were in a deserted part of the town, so no one else would've heard unless she'd screamed it.

The Pikachu studied her for a few seconds before charging at her. She immediately recognized the move as Volt Tackle. She internally cursed, now contemplating on whether or not to just poison the Pokemon and be done with it. She quickly decided against it, choosing to just keep moving and get to the HR Base where the unfortunate Pikachu would be killed if it continued to follow her.

Trying desperately to get away from this Pokemon, she hopped on top of a car, and hopped on top of a building. She continued running across the buildings until she saw the base. She turned to see if the Pikachu was still following her. No sign of it. Smart Pokemon. She thought mockingly, her cockiness starting to take action. Just as she was about to hop across the final building before the base, the Pikachu appeared behind her. She cursed again, grunting in dissatisfaction. She pondered once again on what to do, and finally decided to throw the knife that the running creature. She turned as she was jumping the tiny gap between the building she just finished running across and the building in front of it.

Quickly picking the small knife from her glove with her right hand, she targeted the Pikachu. Target, lock. She slowed her pace as she was now running backwards, closing her left eye and squinting her right. Aim. She pulled her hand back, getting ready to release. Fire. She threw the knife at the yellow ball of fur, who jumped in mid are to dodge it. Unfortunately, he wasn't so lucky. It sliced right through his foot, erecting a yelp and a, "PIKAAAA!" from the mouse Pokemon. It stopped and began searching for a comrade, a friend, anything. Ignoring it, she turned around and continued running, arriving at the base a few minutes later than she was supposed to.

As soon as she walked through the door, she approached the Commander. She'd only met him once before this, but it was enough to know his face and his name. He turned to her, and she nodded once in respect, awaiting for an order.

Jack was still deep in thought, when the new spy approached him.

"Oh, hey there Elixa. Nice to see you again." he said. This was all he could manage, with the atmosphere around him being so grim.

"Elixa, I have a mission for you. An important one. And, I don't want you to screw this up. This mission has 3 objectives. Complete them all quickly, then come back. War is approaching, so you better be fast. All right, first of all, I want the Pikachu dead, it's cry is hurting my ears. Secondly, I hope you saw the crash? Near the building, search for an Umbreon and a Zorua. They're injured, so they couldn't have gone far. But before that...."

He gave Elixa a serious look. "i want you to take out Althalos. The other spy. He's betrayed mankind, by sparing the two Pokemon. I want him dead. Otherwise you'll be dead. Understand? Now go."

He turned his head away, looking at the rising sun.

(OOC: Brooke, this is just to test whether or not you are loyal to the humans in the RP :P. Don't kill Althalos!)

I knew I should've never left that thing alive. She mentally cursed herself, but nodded once. "Yes sir."

And off she went. Her first order of business was to find and kill that Pikachu, something she knew she should've done in the first place. When she found it lying on the building she'd left it on, it was whimpering. "Pika, pika..." It looked like it was in a great deal of pain, but that didn't matter. She sighed as knelled down on one knee beside the Pikachu and pulled the knife out of it's foot. When the angry yellow fur ball looked up from his foot to her, the begrudged look from earlier came back. "Pika..." It sounded like a warning tone, but Elixa wasn't afraid. Why be afraid of a whining, half-dead Pikachu?

"You should've ran when I gave you the chance." Her whisper was soft but sure, not sympathetic in the least. "Younger Pokemon like you have no clue what they're doing," she remembered her mother's words, but directed them at the Pikachu. "That's exactly why young Pokemon like you..." the knife slid easily through it's chest and into it's heart. The Pikachu stopped breathing almost instantly. "Should never be aloud out in war."

She pulled her knife out and whipped it on her black jeans. "Fool." She muttered, hopping off onto another building. She was now in search of either the Pokemon or the other spy. It didn't really matter to her which she took care of first, but whichever she caught, she needed to do what she had to do quickly and with stealth. Here we go.

(OOC; Do I just warn him not to come back to the base, or...? :P)

Lydia

( Crap. lets pretend this post happened before you killed it. XD sorry... )

The Zorua was shot out of her dream by the cry of a Pokemon. It was loud and devastating to hear. She growled, her eyes still drooping a bit as she walked out of the cardboard box. She prayed she didn't awaken Wade while walking out. Lydia searched for the source of the sound, when all of a sudden a Pikachu had turned the corner of the open street, and looked straight at Lydia. The yellow mouse was injured, a bloody foot revealed as it approached the spy, limping. It was making small sounds, hurt and disturbed. Lydia took a closer look at it's foot. "A cut?" she thought to herself.

"What happened?" She asked the Pikachu.

"There was a new human in this area, and she seemed inn-equipped. Taking my chance I tried chasing her, in hopes of injuring her along the way. My efforts failed, and eventually they ended in vain, because the little girl had a knife on her. I expected a charging attack but she threw it at me and spiked me in the foot."

That was surprising. A human with a knife these days was rare, especially if it was to be thrown with such accuracy. The thought was startling, but she'd make sure the 'new' human wouldn't dare hurt anyone again.

"What did the human look like?"

"Well, she was small..."

So much for a clever description. With a sigh, she ran through the city looking for a "small" girl. She didn't need Wade for such a small mission, and was hoping he wouldn't go looking for her. However, each street she checked revealed her searching as worthless. No one was to be found, but she kept her ears up in case of danger. Her imagination was running wild. Who was this person? Some kind off ninja?

-----

Another cry sounded through the air, piercing her eardrums. She ran back recognizing the cry as that of the Pikachu's. What she found, wasn't very pretty. There was the girl, and on sight Lydia growled with disapproval. Blood was all over both of them, and some more blood may have had to be spilled by the end of this encounter.

"What do you think your doing?" the Zorua spoke from afar, using telepathy to communicate with the girl. "We don't need any more humans littering these streets".

In Wade's sleep, he could feel some rustling, then some movements. He was having a good dream, a good dream with Lydia actually, and he didn't want to wake up. But when his sub-consciousness thought about the box rustling again, he knew something had gone wrong. Shooting up and glancing around quickly, the first thing he noticed was the empty space next to him. Lydia, was gone.

"Crap!" Wade gasped and cursed quietly as he crawled out of the box and sniffed the air. She was nearby, he could smell her. With a worried expression on his face he darted around the alleys, calling her name softly, hoping that the soldiers couldn't hear him, but Lydia could.

Just then his eyes widened when he saw a Pikachu on the ground. He dashed towards the Pokemon but it was too late. He was laying on the ground, lifeless, a large wound on his chest. Who did this? Wade took a deep breath and looked around. Lydia was in danger. He continued to run around the building, dodging several soldiers and killing one on the way, but then when he was looking at somewhere else, he bumped into a girl with black jeans. Then his gasped and quickly ran as he saw a knife. But then when he turned, he stopped. He had to know who she was, and he had to know what happened to Lydia.

(bumped into you, Brooke xD and Lydia ain't there to save me!)

Jack was still wondering about the incoming war, when his eyes fell upon a roof. he saw the small Zorua there, speaking to the Pikachu. She left, and Elixa came and finished the job. Jack got up, and rushed out of the building, in pursuit of Elixa.

He ran on, when he saw the Zorua there, and Wade too, bumping into Elixa. He ran over, picking up both the Zorua and Wade by their tails.

"Didn't I tell you to stay low?" Jack said. he kept them both a good distance from his body, careful, and ready for any form of counter attack, or escape.

The Zorua shot out a protect, releasing the grip between their tails and his hands. She then tackled him, knocking him off his feet.

"Is there ever a time when your not completely stalking us?" she laughed, partially smiling. Her wounds were healing up, and it was funny seeing Jack here. Again.

Her focus was on the girl though, and she knew Wade could handle the commander. a two one two battle sounded exciting, but she was holding up her Protect for now. The area was unsettling, blood still all over the ground. She gathered up her brain waves and powered up.

Destroyed roof, Sun rise

Yawning, Mark got up from the ground. He must have fallen asleep overnight.Done waiting, He headed for the stair well. Navigating down the destroyed stairs, he got to the bottom and headed for his rifle, at the TV station.

It was a nice morning, peaceful. This made it obvious a battle was coming. It hadn't happened yet so mark saw no reason to pull out his guns. He walked down the street towards the tv station. Vargas decided to go into the building next to the tv station, roof hop there. Mark climbed up the stairs. When he got to the roof, he noticed how far the jump was, he couldn't make that. He tried anyways. Took 4 steps back and sprinted as fast s his legs would go, and leaped across the gap. He didn't jump high enough, and hit the rails, which he clung to for dear life.

He pulled himself up and over the rails. He then noticed, the impact had re-located his arm, it felt good. "Althalos, you still here?"Mark couldn't see him. There were many places where he could have hid himself though, Didn't feel like looking. He walked over to his much missed 50. Cal rifle. Ohh, how things would have been easier with this. Mark set it back up on the railing. Peered through the scope to see what was going on. Though it was still set to 6x zoom, he set it back a notch to 4x. If you looked close enough, there was activity all around. He fired a round just to hear the "Crack" and get used to the kick again. Un-mounting his rifle and folding up the Bipod on the bottom of the weapon, he sat down, polishing his rifle and waiting for an order, or person.

The Zorua used Protect, and knocked Jack over. Sweet.

Luckily, Wade was still in his arms, and he fell on top of him, crushing him under his metal arm. He threw Wade at Lydia, and rushed over to her, trying to punch her head.

"Lets not forget that you can't use another move when you're protecting yourself!"

He kicked Wade away, and kept on brutalizing the Zorua's protect shield.

He looked at Elixa, and yelled, "Elixa! You continue on with your mission. Scratch out the capture portion, though. I'll do that. You go and kill Althalos!"

He grinned as he punched the shield. Cracks started forming on the shield, and Jack was ready for action.

Wade was still confused as he had bumped into a girl with a knife. Who was she? Then suddenly he was grabbed by the tail and he turned around quickly. Jack Spark. Again.

"What you want more you little-" Wade started but he scooped him up and escaped. Wait if he's helping us escape who's that girl...but maybe he just wants to beat me up personally. Nevermind.

Wade looked around and saw Lydia blasting Jack away with protect, sending him, and Jack away with a strong push, then Jack fell on top of him with a slam, forcing Wade so yelp in pain. Pushing Jack away from his body, he soon found out that it wasn't necessary. He got up and started to pound Lydia's protect shield, and Wade panicked. The shield was bound to break soon, and cracks were already visible on the shield. Wade looked at the sky. Sunrise. A little moonlight could still be seen. Power. More power.

"No you don't!" Wade roared, and charged towards Jack from behind. He couldn't bite anymore as his teeth were still growing back, but he could use Psychic without biting. He concentrated, his eyes glowing as he trapped Jack in a strong psychic energy, then lifted Jack into the air with all his might, locking him with the energy so he couldn't move. When he was using this move, he couldn't do anything else. He couldn't even stop looking at Jack so he shouted without looking at Lydia.

"I'm keeping him in the air! Get him!"

She didn't know Wade knew Psychic. Clever move, especially since the Commander wouldn't be able to move for a while. Knowing it wouldn't last for long, she jumped up, Night-Slashing him in every direction. Her claws cut through his flesh, and she concentrated the Psychic power with her own Extrasensory. He'd pay now. Two against one was never a great match up.

"What now, Jack?" she giggled, preparing more slashes down on the ground. While doing so, she wasn't noticing her wounds, which were opening up once again.

(OOC: ninja'd by SD :( )

Jack was pounding away at the the Zorua's shield. he grinned as he finally broke it, shattering like glass. He was about to smash the Zorua's brain, when he floated into the air.

"What the hell?" He yelled, and then stiffened. He tried to move, but couldn't. he twisted his neck a little, and saw the Umbreon had lifted him using Psychic. Great. The Zorua jumped up, and started Night Dazing him. His flesh was torn, and he was bleeding. If the Night Daze didn't get him, loss of blood would. He noticed the Zorua's wounds open up, and bleed.

"What now, Jack?" the Zorua said.

"Nothing, aside from the fact that I murder you by sticking toothpicks into your ear." Jack said. He had to keep his cool, although it seemed pretty hard with blood soaking his beloved jacket.

It was just his luck that his hand was at his side, like he was standing straight. Of course, it was difficult to move, but the Umbreon didn't have enough power to hold him down completely. There was barely any moonlight, and he was already half dead.

Jack moved his arm a bit, and shot a bullet in Wade's direction.

Wade smirked as Lydia continued to punish Jack with her slashes, wounding him from top to bottom, but when Jack aimed his hand at Wade's body, Wade quickly stopped smirking.

"Uh oh." Wade murmured and quickly canceled the Psychic powers, dodging the bullet right on time, the bullet speeding right past his left ear, nearly hitting it. But then when the bullet missed, he laughed as Jack fell onto the ground with a loud thud.

"You enjoying it so far, Jack?" Wade taunted, snickering but when he saw Lydia's wounds opening up again he froze. They were starting to bleed again, but she didn't notice. Quickly calling up the power of the moon, he focused his eyes onto her wounds, healing them as fast as he could, making himself an easy target in the process.

Jack's bullet worked, although Wade dodged it. Wade's Psychic lost it's power, and Jack fell on the ground. Wade laughed.

"You enjoying it so far, Jack?"

"Well, yes, although, have you got anything better to offer?"

Wade saw the Zorua's wounds, and started healing them. Wade was completely open now.

"Tut, tut, Wade. Love on the battlefield is a complete no no." he started running towards the Umbreon, quickly shooting 2 bullets behind him at the Zorua.

Jack tried to ignore the pain in his chest. Although he was able to bear it now, he wouldn't be able to soon. He would have to end this quickly.

He went over to Wade, and smacked him on the head with a full arm blow.

Wade was healing her. Lydia had completely missed the fact she was bleeding, but her wounds had closed up, also leaving Wade vulnerable in the process. Jack fell to the ground, getting back up and firing two bullets at her. She dodged them with ease, her power at full, but by the time the little pokemon looked back up Jack had slugged her partner on the head with his arm. She revealed a shocked expression, but all in an instant it turned back to anger.

"Come on, fight me!" she growled, running straight at him full speed and tripping him under his feet with her tail.

She unleashed some of her power again, using Night Daze to blow him back again. Her attacks weren't very strong, but she had to protect her partner. It appeared that Wade was unconscious...

Mark was digging through his backpack when he heard 3 gunshots. He jumped to the floor with a quiet thud. Althalos was still no where to be seen, although he was probably inside. Standing back up, mark looked through his scope to see if he could see anything. If he listened closely he could hear fighting. He tried to find the source of the conflict, and it seemed to be an ally. He didn't feel like going over there though. He set up his Bipod again and scoped the ally entrance. If a pokemon came out, it was a goner. It felt good to be waiting like a sniper again.

Althalos woke to gunshots. He had fallen asleep behind one of the AC units and when he sat up, he saw Mark, sitting at the edge, 50. cal in hand. "Whatcha lookin' at?" Althalos yawned. "Heads up." he said, grabbing his own gun and tossing Mark a clip of tranquilizers, and put a clip in his own gun as well. Althalos looked at what Mark was through his own scope. The commander seemed to be bleeding profusely while fighting the Zorua and Umbreon. There was also some other girl there. She had no weapons as far as Althalos could see, so he assumed she was an un-evacuated civilian. She ran off from the scene and Althalos followed her with his scope for a few seconds; she seemed to be looking for something. He then went back to th fight and looked at the Umbreon, who was now passed out and bleeding from the skull. He then switched to the Zorua, made sure he had the tranquilizer clip in, and shot her. the dart lodged into the small pokemons side, and she quickly collapsed. he picked up his radio. "You're welcome Jack. Now go get some medical attention. The second Mark or I see one of 'em move, another tranquilizer will be sticking out of their side."

Jack hit Wade on his head. That seemed to be effective, as he fell under the weight, and was apparently knocked out. But it didn't stop the Zorua from healing.

The Zorua tripped Jack, and then hit him with a Night Daze. The attack hit him full on, and Jack felt the pain surge through his body as he was knocked away 10 feet from the Zorua. Wow, she sure did pack a punch for such a puny body.

Jack got back up on his feet with a lot of difficulty, and saw the Zorua unconscious, with a dart on her side. Jack looked up, and gave a thumbs up in the TV Towers direction. "Thanks Althalos, and good job. Keep it up." He radioed.

He looked at Elixa. "And you, continue on."

"Hey, Althalos, watch out." Jack said into the radio, and walked back to the Base, where he went to the doctors, who healed him up for the incoming battle.
