~WarriorCats: Tigerstar Resurrected~

AngelDust saw ShiningStar watching her. *Ok, I have to ask him whats wrong*, she thought. She silently padded over to ShiningStar. "Are you ok? You've been acting very...odd, these past few days.", She mewed. She sat next to him and waited. She was a very patient cat. That, coupled with her speed, agility and long legs made her an excellant huntress. She cleaned her left paw, which still had some blood and fur on it. She hoped he wasn't sick. "You aren't sick...are you?", she asked, concern apparent in her mew.

He looked at AngelDust. How could he not love a cat who he had been good friends with and who had cared for him ever since she was a kit? But still, it would cause greater problems if he was open with it. He sighed.
"No, I'm not sick." He said, thankful for her concern. "I'll tell you later, I promise. But right now, I need some time to think. Come and see me when you get back, if you feel like it, ok?" He asked, hating to make her wait. But all the same, he had to think of a way to keep his sanity and clan intact. He wanted to scream, but instead had to swallow his feelings, and bury them, deep inside himself. Keeping them there, he turned towards her and stroked a bit of fluff off her side with his tail. He got up and padded slowly back into camp, going to talk to FrozenTail again. He looked back towards AngelDust, and walked into the medicne cat den.

AngelDust nodded her head. "Alright then. Take your time", she said. ShiningStar flicked a bit of fluff that was on her side off with his tail. *He must care about me. I don't see him doing that to the others. And he always watches me. As soon as I get back, I'm going to tell him. I don't care if he doesn't love me back, I just need him to know I love him*, she thought. Her muzzle was burning under her white fur. The white warrior got up and went over to SleetStorm and SilverPaw. "It's going to be sun-high before we actually leave if you two don't hurry up", she mewed.

Birds flitted overhead. A strange deep sound was rumbling from somewhere far away, but ShiningStar could hear it getting closer. He watched as Twolegs trampled past him. He was suddenly alerted to the fact that this wasn't the WindClan camp, and he shouldn't be here. Suddenly a visious shape appeared in front of him and lunged at him. ShiningStar was glued to the spot, unable to run. As the shape was about to hit him, he realised that it was, it was!

ShiningStar shot up. His breathing was heavy, his body felt scared. More scared than it had felt in a long time. He couldn't go back to sleep, not now. He looked outside his den and noticed that the sun had barely moved. AngelDust and the others would still be out patrolling. Suddenly, he was confused. Why did he feel like this? He knew it was a dream, but he couldn't remember what it was about. He shook his head, scolding himself for being paranoid, and walked outside. Everyone was relaxing in the sun. He walked over to a group of warriors conversing and sat inbetween two of them. They looked at him with happy faces and returned to their conversation. He heard them talking about their last hunts and of their best achievments so far. He joined in whenever a question was directed at him, but for the most part, ShiningStar just listened, happy that his clanmates were enjoying themselves, and not holding a grudge against AngelDust or Silverpaw. He knew it would change when they got back. This is how it should be, he thought, Always.

AngelDust had gotten so impatient that she went out and patrolled by herself. She checked the markers and made sure no Clan had been hunting on their land. After a while she padded back into camp. She saw ShiningStar sitting with two other warriors, talking. When she'd caught his eye, she flicked her tail, indicating she needed to talk to him, alone. She waited for him. *I am not going to be a scaredy-mouse*, she thought.

ShiningStar noticed AngelDust come back by herself. She must have gone out by herself. He thought to himself, worried again. He saw her flick her tail, and he got up. She wanted to talk to him alone, so he made his way to his den, watching her as he went. She seemed apprehensive, something was bothering her. His fur brissled with anticipation. He may not get the chance to tell her how he felt now. He walked into his den, and sat down, knowing she wouldn't be far behind. He waited to see what AngelDust would say.

AngelDust walked into ShiningStar's den. He looked nervous. "Um...well, t-theres something I need...t-to tell you", she stuttered. She looked at her paws. *Come on, just say it. Don't be a scaredy-mouse*, she told herself. "I.....I love you". There. She said it. She felt so much better. But what if he actually didn't love her back? She kept her gaze on her paws.

Silverpaw sighed. He sensed something between Angeldust and Shiningstar. Normally he knew what anything that was going on, but this emotion was something he didn't know. He sighed and left to hunt, because there was nothing better to do. He returned shortly after with a rabbit and a couple voles, and an adder. Adders were not really common. He sighed and sat on the stump. He curled up, wishing he hadn't been such an outcast. Most cats like him were playing. He'd never played before.

AngelDust raced out of ShiningStar's den and out to the tree stump she sat by and counted the stars. "That was the most mouse-brained thing I've ever done in my life! StarClan save me from my own stupidity!", she mewed. She laid down and covered her muzzle with her paws. She wasn't sure what had made her say that to ShiningStar. She rolled onto her back, then onto her right side. She was so confused and conflicted. "Why was I so mouse brained? I don't know what made me say that" She batted at a few strands of grass in a mixture of desperation and annoyance at herself.

Silverpaw noticed Angeldust start shouting and panicking. He was unsure of how to cheer her up, being he didn't know what was going on. It was better than sitting on the stump doing absolutely nothing though.

"Starclan doesn't need to save you, you're not mouse-brained!!"

Because he was part of Starclan. He sighed, hoping to cheer her up. He poked at the side of her belly with his paw.

"Now Sleetstorm - He's mouse-brained!"

Silverpaw said cherily. Sleetstorm was like his rival. He didn't hate him, but he didn't really like him either. But he respected him. Somewhat anyways.

"And Frozentail."

He sighed and poked his nose at her cheek.

"Please cheer up..."

His blank eyes were shining a bit, looking worried.

"Oh yeah... I know who my father is!!"

He had to tell someone. He figured he'd tell her, and then tell Shiningstar whenever he saw him next.

AngelDust rolled onto her back. She stared up at SilverPaw. "Yes, they are mouse-brained . But I went and did something unbelievibly stupid.", she mewed. "Who is your father SilverPaw?", she asked. He was trying to cheer her up by distracting her. She was thankful for that. She let the sun warm her belly fur. She had a feeling things were going to change in the Clan. She wiggled on the grass, getting rid of an itch on her back.

Silverpaw sighed.

"Um... He said his name was Jayfeather... And he's... Um..."

Silver didn't know what to say. He pointed his paw up, up at the sky.

"That crazy Elder was right. I did come from the sky..."

He sighed.

"I'm a freak..."

He curled up beside her, resting his head on her pelt, closing his eyes. He wasn't tired - He was exhaused, from stress.

AngelDust blinked. JayFeather? She'd heard that name before. She'd been about to respond when SilverPaw laid his head on her fur. Shortly after that, he fell asleep. She closed her mouth. She didn't care that he was from StarClan. She fell asleep as well, resting in the suns warmth.

He dreamed, sitting in a meadow, a cool breeze on a sunny day. It was warm and smelled great.

"Hello my son..."

The voice was Jayfeather's. Silverpaw grunted.

"Hi."

Silverpaw replied in monotone, sounding a bit agitated.

"Just so you know, you don't have to visit Moonpool to see me,"

Blind joke. Again.

"But you will to see others. I want you to go back there and--"

"No!" Silverpaw erupted. "I got into trouble last time, I was told not to--"

"Interrupting people is rude, you know."

Silverpaw rolled his empty eyes. "You're one to talk..."

"Well go back there, but not yet. Tonight. I'd like you to meet a few cats."

Silverpaw opened his jaw to argue but Jayfeather continued.

"I've left you a small gift. Wake up and go to the beach by the lake."

With that, Jayfeather faded, followed by everything, and Silverpaw woke up.

He yawned a bit. It was almost noon now. He smiled as he heard Angeldust, who had fallen asleep too. He walked to the lake, and instantly tripped on the beach. He scowled and dug something out of the ground. It was a stick. But it was smooth, with patterns carved in all over. He enjoyed the feeling of rubbing his paw over it. He carried it back to camp, ignoring wierd looks and jeers, and put it down on the stump, rubbing his paws on it.

Thank you, father...

He thought, tracing the patterns by paw.

(Yes, it's the stick Jaypaw found in the book series :3)

Sorry, I'm afraid I've to be pulling out as I would be busy next week and I can't keep up with all that's going on. I don't have the slightest idea who Frozentail is blahblahblah and I'm exceptionally irked that everyone(or most of everyone, but who cares) seem to pointing out Sleetstorm in everything. Like how is he related to the deputyship, why can't it be Snowpelt? Anyway, you won't be hearing from again. Sayonara.

ShiningStar was speechless. Had AngelDust really just said that? She must feel really embaressed now. He thought, I should find her. He decided, already bringing up a list of places she could be. He stood up and walked out of his den. His gaze drifted over the camp to make sure AngelDust wasn't there. Then he spotted her by the tree stump, where she counted the stars, with Silverpaw. He started towards her, then stopped as another member of the clan walked up to ShiningStar. He looked at him, and tried to disguise his anguish.
"What is it, Crackleclaw?" He asked.
"Her, and Him," The cat nodded to AngelDust and Silverpaw. "We want to know why they're both here. She is dangerous. She's an outsider, ShiningStar, and she could be trying to take the clan apart. And He. What if he really is from StarClan? He could be the messenger of doom everyone's talking about. He could be the one thats supposed to return and bring death to the lake." ShiningStar silenced him with a flick of his tail.
"You don't seem to have much faith in me," He said calmly. "I know you don't trust AngelDust, but think to yourself. How many more fresh kills has she brought the clan than the best hunter? How many times has she stopped you having to help the apprentices clean out the Elder's den? With only two apprentices, they don't get helped enough. And Silverpaw, is not the messenger of doom. I'm not raising him just so he can kill everyone afterwards. When he's ready, by the end of Greenleaf, I'm going to take him to the Moonpool with our Medicine Cat so he can talk to StarClan, is that acceptable?" He said firmly. Crackleclaw looked pleased with his answer.
"Yes, ShiningStar."
"Good, then please tell other cats what I just said, ok?"
"Yes ShiningStar." The young cat bounced off to the nearest group of cats to tell them what he'd heard. ShiningStar knew he'd conince them. He carried on towards AngelDust. He sat down next to her and studied her.
"What you said earlier, did you mean it?" He asked, feeling slightly sick.

AngelDust had been sleeping. She woke up when she heard ShiningStar walk over and sit next to her. She rolled over and looked at him. "You've known me since we were kits,ShiningStar. Have I ever once said anything I don't mean?", She asked. In an attempt to lighten the mood, AngelDust poked the side of ShiningStar's belly with her paw. She did love him, but what if he had come here to reprimand her for showing her feelings? She got up and was about to shake herself off when she caught the scent of a rabbit. She flicked her tail, meaning she wanted absolute silence. She dropped down into the hunters crouch. She slowly, silently, stalked closer. She sprang at it when she was close enough and caught it. She shook it until it was dead.

ShiningStar watched AngelDust elegantly drop to the hunter's crouch as she stalked a rabbit. Quickly, she finished it off, shacking it until it was dead. He was reminded once again of his feelings for her.
"No you haven't. I, I wanted to say," He stuttered, "I wanted to tell you that I love you, AngelDust." He quickly looked away, feeling the blood rush to his head, making him feel dizzy. It went away again quickly, leaving him breathless. He looked back up at her and, not knowing what to say, waited to see what AngelDust would say next.

Silpaw's ears perked and he looked up from his stick, to the two he considered parents. (Yes, his face usually follows his focus, blind or not.)

They love each other...?

"No way!!" He burst out, somewhat happy now. "I pictured it before, but I had no idea it would really happen!!"

He wondered if it was a lucky guess, or part of his Starclan ability. He saddened. It seemed everyone had a mate, but not Silverpaw. He had a permanent frown now, and he began tracing the stick again, trying not to think about it. But he still did. He wanted a mate too. But no one liked him.

ShiningStar looked down and saw that Silverpaw had heard what he'd said. He kind of wished Silverpaw hadn't heard, but it didn't matter so much now. He noticed the young cat looked sad, almost lonely. He could guess what he was thinking, but said nothing. He knew that anything he said would sound patronising, so he kept it to himself. ShiningStar felt good, things were finally going right. He started to purr in happiness.
