They are different, aren't they, wasn't ORAS supposed to take place in a different (while very similar) universe than RSE? I don't think that's very spoilery in fact, because it was the only explanation they could come up with why Mega evolution suddenly came to existence and I think everybody has heard of Megas by now.

The Battle Frontier is the least of the disappointments in OR/AS. The new Sky Pillar is nothing next to the old one. It's like they made it easy for ten year old kids who cried when they fell through the floor. It just ruined it for me.

Hehehe, not just ten year old kids. I'm still not able to pass the Pillar in RSE without lowering the emulation speed.

But you're right on that, those things are part of the game. And if it doesn't work you can always try to ask for someone to pass it. (My younger brother can for some reason got up the Sky Pillar with ease, it's unfair!)

Oh they're actually not reincarnations, but (according to the rumor/theory) just different people from an alternate continuity who share the same name, as well as a few physical attributes.

I heard that in the Delta Episode of OR/AS, they discovered another separate universe that had its very own Hoenn region, but Mega Evolution didn't exist (or at least wasn't discovered) there. And, well... Mega Evolution isn't in R/S/E, haha.


But I haven't played OR/AS for myself yet, so I can't really confirm anything. xD

I heard about the rumor as well...

Oh god NOT SKY PILLAR IN R/S/E! That was a pain! I rage quit and had someone else do it.

Also in Emerald, in the good old days, you could throw a Poke-ball at a Pokemon using Fly. I did it versus Rayquaza and caught it.
 
34, trying to use the mach bike to get through sky pillar was a pain

I personally got the hang of the Mach Bike on the Sky Pillar, but I have to admit that it was pretty aggravating to make even a tiny mistake, haha.

Oh yeah, I got Smash Wii U and a Wii U [with Mario Kart 8 pre-installed in it] today [I paid for it with my own money], but as my 4-year old phone was going bad, my dad got me the Iphone 6S in rose gold [also because my studies are doing well]. Also I had tons of sugar! So I am so happy!!! Wheeeeeeeeee!!!
